I travelled on Turkish Airlines on 21st November and my baggage on Arrival at New Delhi on 22nd November 2009 was found to be missing. There after several follow-ups I was confirmed on 27th November that my baggage has been lost and you may please file a baggage lost claim with us and there after a claim was filed on 07th December'2009. during this period I had purchased many of my clothings and personal belongings due to this lost, however after several confirmation that the baggage is lost and the claim is in process -   however I have still received a comment in Feb that the baggage is traced and again the customer care was silent for a month for delivering the bag there after in March they confirmed that they are still searching the bag and finally on 15th March the was found and delivered to me. During all these delay it is not possible to for me to not buy clothings and accessories of my regular requirement as it was confirmed that the bag is lost - so I had re-invest close to USD 2500 for my personal goods and now the customer care in Delhi confirmed that the maximum compensation will be USD 300 only, also as desired I have submitted all the bills of my purchase and still there is no positive response from their side which is surprising for me. I always travel through Turkish Airlines and this is my worst experience of travel and makes me to think before travelling next time.

    I traveled from Khartoum New York on 28 August 2015 via Istanbul. When I arrived in New York on 28 August 2015 my checked-in bag did arrive with me. I filled out the relevant forms at the Turkish airlines in New York and was given nothing but one slipper. I came on Saturday at 2100 hrs and collected my bag from Turkish airlines office at JFK airport. Hence I am claiming the relevant compensation.

    My suitcase was lost when arrived at Heathrow terminal 2. Next day it was delivered but half of my belongings was not there. Your staff taking people belongings.  I have travelled around the world with airlines this is the first time shame of you I have lost more than 1800 $

    My husband and I  used turkish airlines for the first and last time. Lost bag which never turned up, staff were not interested in looking for it. The ground staff were not interested and did not want to help in any way.  Makes one wonder if the baggage handlers  have any security  clearances. Cannot trust them with personal property.

      I agree with u they dont help they just ignore cusomers whenever u ask them questions..they r so strange..i witnessed that lady staff from istanbul who changed my baggage claim stamp wirhout seeing my bag and she even tore my original sramp..apparently it was fraud!  I already filed a complaint but until now my bag coulnt be traced ,,,i wonder how their conscience can take it!

    Turkish airlines! Is a nightmare.last week i arrived in istanbul from riyadh my final destination is seattle..due to unavoidable circumstance i had to change my connecting flight to US means i will have a change of route. I went to transfer desk and asked the staff how to claim my baggage i wanted to make sure it will reach my final destination..the staff kept on telling me they will take care of everyting ..this turkish lady took my baggage claim number slip and to my surprise she tore it in front of me and she gave me this new number ..when i asked why she changed my baggage stamp without having my baggage with me .she told me her friend will change it!! I wanted to ask more questions but it was like she was ignoring me.when i reached my final destination i couldnt find my luggage so i reported it to the United Airlines baggage counter..i was given the reference number i tried to check the status of my delayed baggage but after 6 days still couldnt track.now im losing hope i understand it was already stolen by the turkish staff who changed my claim number tag without seeing my bag...it was really strange!!!!  How come these people can do this to their customers!!!!  They r so impolite impatient the way they treat their customers..the DOT must do something about it! These people must go intensive training on how to deal with customers..DOT pls look into this matter and make action before they victimized more people

    It was sunday on 28 may 2017 when i was left from turkey to Dar es salaam but i was late to the airport and my plane was about to go so i was in hurry and i forgot my three bags one big and small bag with hand bag which contained different clothes, shoes parking boxes with my different cards and watch.please i need your help

    I lost my Telephone (iPhone) in the Airplane TK 0772 Istanbul-Kuwait in Tuesday 1 August 2017, the Phone was in my seat  (D12) .
    The Airplane was out of light when landed in Kuwait Airport and  the darkness of the Airplane was the reason to lose it.

    My husband and I travelled from Gold Coast, Australia to Rome on 30 June 2017. We were travelling to Croatia for my only son's wedding. On arrival in Rome, 1 bag was missing which included my husbands suit for the wedding, gifts for the bridal couple etc. After 8 tel. calls to Turkish Airlines we were informed that the bag had been located, which was too late for the wedding as we had to purchase a new suit and other items of clothing. I have sent in a complaint together with photos, scanned travel documents and receipts. I have as yet not heard from Turkish airlines. I am disgusted by this treatment after all the stress, anxiety and humiliation we had to endure due to the lost luggage.

    Hello,
    I want to know the status of my stolen luggage.
    I  Rita and my 3 kids Bethany, Vanessa and Emmanuella  , boarded Turkish airline from New York to Abuja on the 4th of September with flight Number Tk623 and the stolen baggage/file reference number :ABVTK10907 ,the tag number:TK928897  . My luggage was stolen in Turkish airlines.
    Please update me on the search for my stolen luggage.
    I had my baggage with Turkish airline since September, 5th coming from Newyork USA to Istanbul- Abuja .They do not answer any email or phone calls at all .
    Also in Istanbul International airport (IST), the (international) baggage pickup area is not secured.

    I travelled from Istanbul to Bru. On arrival, my 2 checked in boxes did not come with us, but the next days one was delivered though damaged to me. My bigger bag is yet to be found. I have been calling Turkish Airline to help me find my bag.

    I boarded your plane flight no. TK0626 from Lagos to Istanbul on the 01/26/2018  with 2 luggage to JFK  and missed my connecting flight from   Istanbul and was scheduled for another flight on the 01/27/2018  and when i got to JFK baggage claim i was told that my luggages have been taken to Jacksonville which is my final destination.
    When i got to JAX  i could not find my luggages and was asked to fill a baggage  claim form which i did and it has been over 48 hours  and i am yet to receive my luggages. The luggages numbers are TK917114 and TK917115
    My address as stated in the form is 6327 IAN  CHAD DRIVE E JACKSONVILLE  32244
