I saw a comercial for a paydaY loan for $1000 in your account the very next day sponsored by Montel Williams so I went online and applied, they approved me for only $300 i ecpected the money in my account the next day and nothing then I get home and checked my email and they sent me an email stating NOw that I have been approved I need to call them as my last step! So I call and they tell me it will take 2 business days to deposit the money in my account and now here it is 4 days later and the money is still not in my account. I only have one thing to say, If you don't have cash deal with it, dont get loans from any payday loan places, its not worth all the hassle. And Montel Williams I respect you as an Intelligent Man but sponsoring a payday loan co. was a big mistake.

    Not only is it not worth it, but the effective interest rate on payday loans is so high many people may end up paying several times the original loan and still owe the principal.

    I agree 100%,, they did the same to me,,they keep wanting me to change my cookies on the computer, what does that have to do with a payday loan ?  You either want me to have the loan or you dont,,Iam way over qualified for a 300.00 dollar loan anyway. They tell you ,you are good for 1500. until you fill out all the papers,,then they say 300. ,then give you the run a round.

    I agree totally. I filled out an app and was turned down. I make well over $800.00 a month, so what's that all about? False advertisement. Montel should know better than that.

    this "loan" site is [***]. what an amazing waste of my time. after fillin it all out they say im qualified to buy stuff from some other website. I need rent money not some f++kin fortune cookies and toy cars.

    Well, I quess montel needs money too, I mean,why would he even think of something as stupid as this. He is in show business. Hell, we should have known this was too good to be true when they let Gary Coleman endorse money.  Keep it simple stupid.

    I can't believe they just turned me down. I make well over 1000 a month and those lieing [***] turned me down? They said to qualify was easy more like impossible. This company needs a law suit on their [***]

      get by as best you can   this is a racket that screws people who can really use a quick few bucks  never ever use an online site for a quick loan . call it Montell Hell!!!

    It is not all that bad, they do say up to $1000 on the commerical, they do not state this is the amount you will get.  I was approved and had to start out with $300 for the first loan, I think this is there way of verfying your info and making sure you make good on the loan.  The next loan I took out was for the max $500.  The money will be in your account next day if you apply Mon-Thur and by 2pm, if you apply on a friday by 2pm the funds should hit your bank on Monday, anything after 2pm I found, it will take 2 days to recieves, due to their processing time sytem.  Their  fee is way more than other payday loan places, but its the price you pay for doing this type of business.

    Thanks so much! After reading all of your comments I am glad I did not apply for a  loan. I started the application process, but I changed my mind. I noticed when I tried to leave the site it kept trying to keep me on the site. I did not want just $300.00. So I am glad for the information everyone posted on this site. I will just wait it out until the beginning of the month. I am on a fixed income of SS and VA. I can't believe Montel Williams is endorsing something like this, knowing that the public is being taken for their money. Again, thanks for saving me from the headache and frustations.

    I was a little strapped for cash.  Not enough for a bank loan, just a little strapped.  Thanks for your honest opinions.  You guys just saved me a lot of time and headache.

    thanks for the heads up, I was going to do it just on Montel Williams word alone, in bind and needs money to get an apartment guess I'll do the best I can without going this route.

    Saw the commercial with Montel and thought this must be the best place to borrow from so recommended it to a neighbor in trouble. Found out interest rate was off the charts!!! Nothing like taking advantage of a bad situation. Shame on you Montel Williams!!!
