I saw a comercial for a paydaY loan for $1000 in your account the very next day sponsored by Montel Williams so I went online and applied, they approved me for only $300 i ecpected the money in my account the next day and nothing then I get home and checked my email and they sent me an email stating NOw that I have been approved I need to call them as my last step! So I call and they tell me it will take 2 business days to deposit the money in my account and now here it is 4 days later and the money is still not in my account. I only have one thing to say, If you don't have cash deal with it, dont get loans from any payday loan places, its not worth all the hassle. And Montel Williams I respect you as an Intelligent Man but sponsoring a payday loan co. was a big mistake.

    Oh boy.I've been contemplating calling for this loan all weekend to pay off a couple of nagging bills. Something kept telling me to research before I apply. GLAD I DID!!!  I was getting ready to add to the list of nagging bills with a bigger NAG! I never pay these types of advertisements attention, but because and only because Montel Williams was endorsing it, I figured it would be ok.  You can't trust anyone.  Thats a shame and there's no way he's not aware of the stipulations that the consumer will face in the long run.  Thanks but no thanks Montel. The next time I see you on ANYTHING, I'll make sure I mute you out CROOK.

    I too have been had by Montel Williams and his being a  payday loan sponsor. This was very much fasle advertisment... First I went online to apply then was sent an email telling we to fax over more inform. after this I was awarded $300.00 instead of $500.00 or even $1000.00...Will the money was there maybe nxt next.. But I Tell you guys the payback was notorious. I evently had to close my account because they were always taking out of my account what they wanted and say I OWED. Not to mention the harrassing phn calls I received on my place of employment and my cell phn...If there is a class action lawsuit "I WANT IN"

    Montel Williams is on every channel, all the time, always hawking Get Money, Get Money, Get Money! This guy is a discredit to American Banking with his wildly high interest rates. Shame on him. He must be doing very badly to prostitute his name in this manner!

    Here's the value of the internet - instant community and real world feedback. Got a major car repair and I would'nt touch this company with a 10 ft pool. I'm already suffering, why would I subject myself to more!

    Thank you all for your advise I have been out of work for six weeks due to operation and waiting for approval of short term disability and getting ready for approval to return to work and feeling the stress of money and was going to attempt to see if I could get approved but after the input. I will learn from your experiences and stay away and save the money in the long run by not having to pay high  interest to someone taking advantage of people's hard times. Thanks so much !

    Wow, thank you so much for all of your reviews. I actually filled out the application and got approaved for $300.00. In the email I was prompted to call back for further verification. I think I will call to have them to cancel my application. I told my husband about the reviews and he told me not to continue with this. Thank you all so much, it really sucks that when you're in a bind there it's not only difficult to get assistance, but you also have a chance of getting scammed. So sorry this happened to all of you. :(

    umm.. just so you know, zip19 charges 19.98 per 100 bucks. i've used them. if you bounce your loan (funds aren't there on payday) then you're gonna pay more, but it's not going to be 1.5x the principal. i think its 55 bucks or something. it's all in the contract buddy, you should try reading it before taking a loan. I'm not advocating payday loans, but they're not forcing you to take them. you're paying for the convenience of getting money fast, so make sure u have the funds available when they debit u on the contract date.

    seriously? all the fees are in the contract. if you read it, it's literally impossible to get ripped off because you'll know exactly how much money you owe. if you blindly sign a contract, then it's your own fault.

    If you've been out of work for 6 weeks you can't loan anyways... it's a payday loan, so you have to have a payday to qualify. Just FYI.

    People, Montel Williams is NOT the owner of this company. He's NOT the one ripping you off. He was simply paid to be spokesman on a TV ad for the company. It was a terrible thing for him to take part in, but it's not his company. It definitely affects his credibility though, no question!

    I almost made this application process official, but my gut told me to google complaints regarding this loan.  I just want to thank all of you who have submitted your complaints.  It saved me alot of aggravation and money.  I will just "bite the bullet" and keep it moving.  Your complaints were a "Blessing".  And Montel, you should be ashamed of yourself.

    Donna, just a word of advice, you better make sure that you constantly check your account(or close it) if you gave them your social sercurity #, and your banking infor. I have never had no dealings with them, but I do know others that have been ripped off.

    there are 2 loans that come up on the money mutual site,endorsed by Williams. My dad just needed a short term loan,after they approved him they wanted faxed copies of his SS card,bank statements,etc.When I asked why the got real snippy and would not say. I took a look at the payment schedule,my dad would be paying 70% interest! I would not let him take the loan and do they get angry when you say forget it!

    Needed a short-term loan and decided to try Montel.

    I earn $2800 a month and was told I do not make enough money for a loan. What, boo... sh..., I just bought a new house and qualified for that.

    I am telling everyone out there that Montel is a fast, I guess they get all our information and sell it even though they claim to not do so. Who knows.

    Must say though it was a genius idea on their end to get names to sell they are getting the information legally.
