I saw a comercial for a paydaY loan for $1000 in your account the very next day sponsored by Montel Williams so I went online and applied, they approved me for only $300 i ecpected the money in my account the next day and nothing then I get home and checked my email and they sent me an email stating NOw that I have been approved I need to call them as my last step! So I call and they tell me it will take 2 business days to deposit the money in my account and now here it is 4 days later and the money is still not in my account. I only have one thing to say, If you don't have cash deal with it, dont get loans from any payday loan places, its not worth all the hassle. And Montel Williams I respect you as an Intelligent Man but sponsoring a payday loan co. was a big mistake.

REALLY? Well, let's look at my situation - I make approximately $900 per month. My home is paid for, no mortgages. I have electric, water, 'net/phone/cable & garbage service - total monthly utilities avg. $350 per month. Auto ins. $60, vehicle paid for. 2 people in household, no one smokes & I "value shop" for groceries, so that expense is MAYBE $125 per month and that is a HIGH estimate, but we eat well... And that is "keeping it real" - approx. 1/2 my monthly take-home free and clear. Please, educate me on why I "can't afford a loan" if some unexpected event creates a need for a small lump sum of cash. Not being facetious here, so don't be offended. I was just about to apply for one of these loans & was browsing feedback from loan sites and consumers when your comment caught my eye & got me reconsidering and re-calculating.

Thanks everyone for your comments.  We need money for our move, and after reading all this, will have to think of another way because I guess Montel's endorsement is crap!

By your own numbers you are spending $535 out of $900 leaving approx 40% of your money and you left out some very key expenses including, taxes (school, property)medical expenditures (Dr appts, medications), gas for your vehicle, and the biggest black hole of them all...CIGARETTES. One smoker, smoking a pack a day can spend anywhere form $35 to $70 per WEEK!(depending on where you live)That comes out to $140 to $280 PER MONTH! Subtract the cigarettes alone and you are down to $225 to $85 for the month. Based on the evidence I think you are lucky you can afford to put gas in your car let alone try to pay back some overpriced loan.

Do not get caught up in payday loans! It gets to be a never ending circle as I am in especially using another to keep up. It is hard to get them shut down to catch up.

If 'half your take home' is really 'free and clear' WHY would you EVER consider a 'loan' from a rip-off cash advance place like the one Montel advertises for????

They did you a HUGE favor!

You should thak them instead of coplaining that they've discrminated against you

Payday loans are not designed to be paid back in installments.  Typically they are paid back within two weeks (the next time you get paid). You will certainly pay a arm and a leg a payday if you don't follow this rule because of the enormous interest rate applied to the loan.  I would never do a payday loan if I weren't able to repay the borrowed amount within two weeks.  I'm just saying...

Dont ever do this! my husband and I applied for this loan and was told a due date and the finance fee was $300.00.. We were ok with that because we would have the money in the fute to cover this (By the time it was due). American Web Loans who were given to us by Money Mutual have taken $300.00 a week out of our account for 2 months now! We overdrafted so badly that we had to borrow the thousand dollars to pay the loan off. Even while paying the loian off they charged us $270.00!!! This whole deal has cost over $2000.00 and the intial $1,000.00 wan't even put into our bank in time to pay the bills that it was intended to cover!! Shame on you Montel!
