This morning, September 25, 2013, I received an e-mail from NCS Law Group saying I owe $703.00 to Advance Cash Services.  It is very strange that all of us are being targeted for $703.00.  Also, I have been e-mails from ACS Law Firm.  How strange that the telephone number is the same from all  law firms (239-494-3300).  Is there some way we can put a stop to these scams?

I received en e-mail also, from ACS, Inc. and NCS Law Group, in the same weekend, not smart..  I replied, "I know this is a fraudulent contact.  It has been reported to the appropriate federal entities.  Cease and desist."  They went to the same e-mail address.  The answer I received from both, about 10 seconds after I replied was, "GOOD LUCK.  GOD BLESS YOU WITH ALL PROSPERITY"  Have not heard from them since.

      Thanks for the heads up.

It's a scam.  Any real law firm, or even collection agency, would contact you by US Mail, not email.
The scammers use email because it's anonymous, free, and they can blast out millions hoping some suckers call back.

Problem with stopping them is they are probably calling from India using cheap VoIP.

If you want to have fun with them (if you are so inclined) get a burner phone and harass them until their number is unuseable.  Or trace back through your phone company and find out their VoIP telecom, and file an extortion complaint against them.  Might stop them for a couple days.

I received an email yesterday saying if I didn't repay $703 that they were going to serve court papers on me.  They also said that I had $300 deposited into my account from Advance Cash America and they have proof I that I signed papers and have 14 things that prove I signed and that it was deposited.  How can they get away with this.  When I call the number all I get is a foreign woman's voice saying they can't take a call and leave a message.  I have never heard of a lawyers office not identifying them when you call them.

I also received this email this morning, however I didn't open it..  I usually check the full header to see who actually sent it and it seems to be coming from Vakil Salah in Somalia... with a .biz extender...
