This is the second year I have used this pool. It has been nothing but a big
pain. The filter is too small for the pool size and has to be cleaned every
day. This is not an easy task and is not user friendly. The plunger valve
assembly which turns off the water from the pool to the pump broke and the company is out of stock for the part. This makes it even more difficult to clean the filter and screen in the pump. And the parts department was not very helpful when I called to find out when the part would be available and what I was supposed to do in the meantime.

    I have had an Intex easy set up pool for 6 years and have never had any problem with either the pool or the pumps. After my first year trying to work with the chemicals I bought the Salt water system from Intex. No chemicals. No problems and a crystal clear pool. If you hate the chlorine smell and hate all the problems that go with all the other chemicals then invest in the salt water system.

      Your the ONLY post that has made sence today...chroline is such a pain!!! My pool is so cloudy..it's more work than it's worth! Time to invest in SALT i guess! TY

    i would like the contact number for customer service, the top ring keeps deflating i think theres a hole in the seam, do any one know that number

    Not happy with ultra intex metal frame 18x48. We had a blue 18x48 for 6 summers. Last year had to patch it 20 times so this year instead of replacing the liner we went with a new gray ultra. Filled and then heard pop. One of the t bars popped out of place. The new style ultra is junk. Never has a structure problem with the blue/ white pool. I knew the quality sucked just putting it together.

    I am on my second pool, the 18x42
    It would be nice if the sun didn't ruin the ring so quickly, but we live in Florida
    We replaced the pump on the first one, and also on the second, definitely needs a bigger pump
    It's a good concept, just needs improvement!

    My pool filter was colapsing the cartridges i bought. So they told me I was using the wrong catridges.. Eventhough I went out of my way to make sure I bought the intex brand catridges. I went and bought myself a nice pool filter for a regular pool and haven't had a problem since. I literally fought with customer service on the phone.

    We bought a small pop-up pool this summer and it has been ok, except now that I need some new filters I can't find them anywhere. Why would a store like wal-mart sell this product and then not sell the maintenance equipment all summer long. They don't even have the D size filters on their website! It is really annoying.

    We bought the easy set pool 16x 42 have well water and almost immediately after doing what the pool store said we eliminated the metals, drive the chlorine up way high and have green water. They now have me cleaning it out a few times a day, adding algacide and shocking it with non chlorine. Nothing is working. We don't think it's algae either, suggestions.?

    I was wanting to know if all intex pools have the same size hoses. I have a 9x18x52 salt water pool, now some of the parts are failing I have ordered a round 16x48 which does not have a salt water system but says you can use one with it. My salt water system still works great so I am hoping to use it with new pool. Tks I really enjoy my pool it would be 7 yrs this summer

    Do you have to put the pool on a sand base or just cover the brass with a tarp
