I got a call on my cell phone regarding credit card debt relief. . I was transferred to nakisha,  asked if I wanted to continue, they asked for $600 or $60.00 to send me the paperwork and for the consultation. When I asked them what it was for she said they would deduct from my first payment but would not tell me what the money was for FINALLY SHE  said yes.

THE FIRST TIME THEY TOLD ME IT WOULD APPLY TO MY CREDITORS BUT WHEN THEY CONVINCED ME TO RECORD MY VOICE THAN THEY SAID IT WAS ONLY A FEE FOR THE CONSULTATION!!!

. No fees should be sent to anyone for additional information requested on a company or program

she has been harrasing me telling that i have to pay this amount or else! and that they can take me to court becaues they have my voice accepting!! !  unfortunally i gave many personal information!!
what happends now??
i never signed anything!!!!

    Its not false information for 4 days nobody could answer that question and give me an Attorney #.  It took me putting out a message out here to get his Attorney #.

    Everything I put out here is 100% true facts.  I did call and Ralphie did not know, Beth did not know and I was told it would be emailed to me so I would get off the phone- how else would I know the names of the people.

    Real Scammers at work at Consumer 1st Law Group what other company do you know that would check a complaint blog unless they do shady things

    If you are not a scam then refund my money instead of making sure the truth does not get out on the internet. I will put out there when I actually have my money in my hand I will let everyone know then that you guys refunded some of the $4100 that I paid on Friday March 11, 2011 and I ended your services on Wed 03/16/11 and I will happily pay you for the 4 days but the $4100 was to stop the foreclosure and do a mod packet and nothing was done because I talked to Ralphie and Anthony Blackwell and he said he will call to do a refund and he will not pick up from my phone number - I called him from my work number (he didnt know) and he picked up - he said he was in meetings and hung up - the only way to call Anthony is to call from numbers he does not recognize

    Personally Sara, I do check because i hear people telling me about these complaints, and I would simply like to know what's being said as an employee.  I'm certainly not looking for any kind of confrontation, and have tried to answer any of your questions accordingly.  That having been said, we deal with a lot more than the 3 or 4 people that complain about us on this page.  If only the hundreds of other people that we do help would post there opinions here.  I can only hope that when we do the right thing by you, that you post it.  Thanks.

    If someone follows through with my refund as I stated before I will hit a reply to every message I have left with the information about my refund!!  I am only speaking from my experience with you guys for the last week and I have that right because I honestly feel I have been scammed.  My case manager said it is moved on to another department I talk to that department and they say they have to talk to my case manager.

    Prove me wrong and refund me the money and I will happily rescind my experience.

    Just an update - Attorney Anthony Blackwell stated on Wednesday March 16th he would call on Thursday March 17th as to a refund and no call.  I have left 7 messages on his phone to give me a call back and not 1 phone call back.

    I am just stating the facts to help out others that are out there wondering if they should use this company or not.  I will keep updating this to let you know if I ever here from him or a refund. Just the facts!!

    Thank you for the information Sara - this Company called me last Thursday and I wanted to check them out and please let me know if you hear from them and if you get a refund that is valid.

    It seems like this Sara is exception not the rule.  I have been dealing with Consumer First on a few issues i was having with my mortgage.  Not only have they returned all my calls but have been nothing but forthcoming and honest with me.  I have referred family and friends to them.  I have dealt with other companies prior to them and I was scammed.  So i have done my due diligence prior to speaking to them.  In addition people need to realize that this is a blog.  these "complaints" are not verified and for all we know they can be competitors of Consumer First.  Everyone's experience will be different. People go online and you have no idea if these are valid.  So make your on decision and read these with a grain of salt.  My experience to this point with them has been nothing but exceptional.

    In addition, what attorney works without a fee or retainer?  Your house is your biggest purchase and asset, so why would you expect not to pay to save it?  I hate to see people bad mouth a company that has done nothing but help me and my family.

    I am totally appalled at the number of complaints I am finding regarding Consumer Law Group.  My experience is similar to everyone elses.  I am being scammed; I have now paid a total of $1,695.54 to these crooks and so far I have had no results.  Everytime I call I speak to a different person - never the same one.  In fact, my experience has been that when I ask to speak to a particular person I get attitude.  Well, you guessed it -because of their failure to act on my behalf I was issued a summons to appear in court as the credit card company was filing a lawsuit for breach of contract.  I stupidly and mistakenly thought that being in this "program" would prevent this from happening. I appeared in court this morning, and it was the most frightening thing I have ever experienced.  I was alone and was not being represented by anyone, certainly not Consumer Law Group or one of the "attorneys" that they say I am paying for everytime I make a payment.  I decided then and there to speak to the plaintiff's attorney and try to negotiate something on my own.  I intend to call CLG and cancel this program and let them know at that time how many complaints have appeared against them on the internet - then I am going to cancel the bank account that they are using to take out their monthly fee.  They will not get another penny from me.

    When I entered this program, my gut told me something was wrong but I did not want to acknowledge that because I was just trying to resolve the issue.  What really convinced me was yesterdaY when I was speaking to a legal assistant to prepare myself for court today, and when I asked him if he wanted me to call him back today to report on my court experience he told me that was not necessary.  WHAT - NOT NECESSARY!!!!!!!

    I am very scared because I do not know what the outcome with the credit card company will be - I am 65 years old and do not want to spend the rest of my life paying on this debt.  

    Why, oh why, did I get involved in this I ask?  Probably for the same reasons that others have signed up.  I was scared and did not know where to turn but I should have known that dealing with a company in Florida when I live in a different state was not the way to go.

    IF ANY OF YOU ARE THINKING OF DOING THIS, PLEASE TAKE MY ADVICE AND DON'T DO IT. IF YOU DO IT, YOUR LIFE WILL BECOME ONE HELLISH NIGHTMARE AS MINE HAS. I DEFINITELY WOULD LIKE TO BECOME INVOLVED IN A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT AS I WOULD LIKE TO SEE THESE PEOPLE PAY FOR WHAT THEY ARE DOING.

    this company is a fraud as an ex employee i can attest to this ,a day doesnt go by that i dont feel ashamed of what i did working for this company.who knows how many families we screwed and lost thier homes .DONT FALL FOR IT

    Consumer First Law Group and Consumer Law Group are 2 different companies that have nothing to do with each other. I wish that the threads could be separated so that people dont confuse the 2 companies. It's unfair to associate consumer first law group with the other company.

    I find it odd that Marcus made a comment a couple lines up that said they company has done nothing but good things for his family and he referred his family and friends, but then he states that the companies are 2 different companies.  Who would know that other than an employee?  I think the comments that are out here that are positive are employees trying to say good things after people who have been scammed make a compaint to warn people.

    this is to thetruth,is Anthony Blackwell an actual Attorney?  you being an ex employee why dont you talk to someone to have this stopped.  You should feel ashamed of yourself for lying and stealing from people but you feeling bad and regretting it is the consequence for what you did and by you putting this out on the internet that hopefully will get out.  I think you need to post what you just said at the end of this blog so it is the first thing people would see.  Good Luck to you . . .

    I saw you said the "real" Anthony Blackwell is in good standings - so the Anthony Blackwell for Consumer 1st law group is a fake? They are using someone elses name and calling people - what Scam artists they are!!  All the employees there should be ashamed of themselves.  THIEVES!!

    October 2010, I spoke to a representative which assigned me to a JAKE DALOYA.  Upon telling them about my home in South Carolina, with Wells Fargo, and how they have been stringing me along for almost a year for a modification.  I was assured that they would be able to represent me and guarantee me a Modification for me Home.  I expressed the fact that my home was in the State of South Carolina and I was told that it didnt matter they have representation all over.  I didnt even know that I was having withdrawn immediately from my account 2,800.00 before they even started the paperwork.  When I inquired about the immediate withdrawal of funds that were never discussed.  I was assured that its procedure and If they could not obtain a modification that I would not loose my funds.  All funds would be returned to me.  They even sweetened the deal by stating that they would be able to complete an modification for my New York House as well until I can sell it.  They received my money In October, foreclosure was set originally for November, which I had post poned, in order to give them ample time to work with my mortgage company.  They assigned my a lawyer which decided to call me a day before the original sale date in November 9, 2010 Mr. ANTHONY BLACKWELL, which wanted me to do everything.  I sated to him I was told that I would have legal representation and now you are telling me about additional charges I need to pay you, and you still cant represent me cause you dont practice in South Carolina.  He then stated I will get one of my partners from South Carolina to represent you in court.  Which never happened.  I had to get a realitor to go to court and inquire about the Sale on November 9.  (All of which I documented).  The new Sale date was now schedued for December 6, 2010.  I had e-mailed, faxed and made dozen of phone calls to HOME SAFE AMERICA, to which I received txt messages, e-mails, and voice mails, from them stating they had been started negotiating with my Mortgage company.  ALL OF WHICH WERE LIES.  They never contacted my Mortgage company until December 2, 2010 and the sale date was set for December 6, 2010.  At this time they stressed me to fex Ex paperwork to the mortgage company for them, which I had to pay for as well as sign an appeal letter before they can even start an negotiation.  I inquired why is it three days before a sale date and you are just realizing that I need these documents, in order for you to even speak on my behalf.  They you have been lying to me about being in touch with my lender all along.  If you needed these documents to even begin to speak on my half.  No one not even the owner could answer that question.  They assigned me a Para Legal named Debra Rennie that blamed everything on Jake the person who's only job is to get the contracts in all legal work fall on the legal team.  Which to me is not a good team at all.  She was extremely nasty about out Rude and the Owner e-mailed me GUY SAMUEL about them sitting on my paperwork, but never responded to any of my e-mails during the time of me loosing my home.  On December 6, 2010, I received an e-mail from Debra Rennie (para-legal), which stated the bank will be selling the house, because I didnt submit the paperwork that Mr. Blackwell put together for me.  When Mr. Blackwell was too have someone represent me from down their.  I payed them 2,800. To sit on paperwork and still wind up loosing my home, and when I requested my money back I never herd from them again.  They dont respond to calls or e-mails from me.  I Would love to start a class action Law suit against Home safe America, I would like my 2,800.00 back from them.  I want to get it out to everyone not to trust anything that they say.  I think the Attorney General needs to get involved in this one as well. Blackwell Nevada licence has been suspended and he does not have a NY license.

    I have good news for some of us. HOME SAFE AMERICA SA in Levittown,N.Y.. 11756 IS CLOSED. Now anyone having issues with them MUST contact FTC and make your report there and maybe you will get your money back. Thats the lasted for HSA N.
    The bad news is that GUY SAMUEL, ANTHONY BLACKWELL,JAKE DALOYA are CUSTOMER FIRST LAW GROUP now. YOU CAN JUDGE THE FACTS FOR YOURSELFS

    What is odd about knowing that they they are different companies that have different names? They have helped me, so unless you know my situation then dont assume anything.
