Network Agenda (800-418-9320) took $9.95 from my account without my permission. I received a free copy of Network Agenda with my free copy of Grant Master Search software but I was not informed of any charges that followed.  I contacted the company using the phone number given next to the charges on my card 800-418-9320 and left a message asking to put the money back.

    Many similar complaints here:

Also dispute the unauthorized charge, in writing, thru your bank.  Change your account number to prevent future unauthorized charges.

Although in your case you may have been taken in by their "free offer", it appears they may even be charging people who never contacted them.

I have fallen victim to this outrageous scam and I am appealing to all concerned to avoid the same trap we were lead into. These people should be hogtied, tarred and feathered and incarcerated for the rest off their naturel life. They should not be allowed to work in the U.S. or any existing countries. Shame on them and may they get their just deserts in hell

I was charged $9.95 for what they call NWAG.com. I have no idea what in the hell this is, so I called the 1-800-418-9320 and got their fake answering machine so I got smart and started calling this number at 3:00am and kept calling until finally I got this rude A***** on the phone he started to curse at me and I told him that I was a law enforcement officer and that he or his so called co. stoled $9.95 from my credit card, he just hung up on me but luckly I had him on the phone long enough to trace the number and it happened to be his home phone to a crook who steals people identies. SO FOR ALL OF YOU WITH THIS PROBLEM MAKE A POLICE REPORT NOW! AS SOON AS YOU RECIEVE YOUR STATEMENT IN THE MAIL MAKE THE REPORT DON'T WAIT PUT THIS [***] IN JAIL!

I was charged for the same amount $9.95 by Network Agenda.  If you were charged with this amount, more likely you have been charged $1.99 and $39.95 and $7.95.  Network Agenda and Grant Master are one company. I called their 1-800 number and the rep was giving me the runaround. I asked to speak directly to the supervisor and she told me she was going to refund me all four dollar amounts and even gave me confirmation numbers for each amount. If you're trying to get the amount back, don't call Network Agenda, call this number: 1-800-479-0979.  I'll have to check my account frequently to make sure I get the amount back and also to make sure they don't charge any more fees after that.

Thank you marie for providing the number above. I got a refund of the 9.95, but had to beg for the refund. All they kept saying was we will not charge you anymore, we will cancel your account. But, in the end I got the full refund back. Thanks for this website.

I also was charged $9.95 by Network Agenda and $7.95 by Express Buisness funds. I contacted my bank about the situation and they claimed to have dealt with them before. They gave me this number 1-800-410-1682. After a brief conversation the Service Rep agreed to cancel the accounts with confirmation numbers and also refund the money giving me seperate confirmation numbers for the refunds. Any other info I can get to stop this and make sure I contacted the right place would be greatly appreciated. I hope the number I gave will help anyone who has been suckered by these guys.

i believe if you read the terms of service on agreements like these you will note that it says its a free trial and that you agree to be charged for the service if you dont cancel before the trial ends.  so they actually do have your permission by you agreeing to the full terms of service.  did any of you actually read the fine print??

I didn't order anything at all, grant assistance or otherwise, so there was no "fine print" to read. Luckily, my credit card company called to confirm various internet transactions. While 2 were valid, the $9.95 from Network Agenda (nwag.com) was not. I ended up cancelling that credit card and getting a new one.

i've been trying to get this cancelled for months now, having seen the same payment amount on my statement month after month and unable to get through by calling 1-800-418-9320, so finally i located this site found another number to call which is 1-800-479-0979. i was able to cancel the service and obtain a confirmation number in the process from irene howard in less tha 5 minutes. now all i can do is wait to see if it really went into affect as i await my next billing statement.
