Network Agenda (800-418-9320) took $9.95 from my account without my permission. I received a free copy of Network Agenda with my free copy of Grant Master Search software but I was not informed of any charges that followed.  I contacted the company using the phone number given next to the charges on my card 800-418-9320 and left a message asking to put the money back.

I think we all need to get together and send letters directly to our new presedent and bug him. I doubt if any thing will come of it to send anything to the BBB or FTC. UNITE !

I thought I was the only one.  I was looking thoughly through my statements and I have been charged for the last eight months a monthly 39.95 fee from mygrants.net, a 7.95 fee from business fund, and a 9.95 fee for network agenda.  So when you add that up that is 462.80 they have stolen from me.  I want all that money back, but I'm not sure by calling it will do much good. So I will be filing a police report and talking to my attorney.  Once I know something I will let all of you know.  Thanks for listening.

    Hi,

I just had the same thing happen to me.

i saw a charge for 12.71 Canadian on my credit
card and was surprised. Im an internet marketer but
I didn't buy any thing online for days.

Then where did this charge come from?
I did a Google Search and came across
this forum. Thank God. I was able to use
the number above and contact their customer
service who was trying to weasel me out
of the money by telling me the card would
not be charged any FUTURE payments. I told
them thats good but what about this payment?
That's what I want to know. I'm not going to be
charged for something I never purchased and
also never received in the first place. Please
refund me my money and in 2 minutes it was done.

I was calm throughout the entire conversation.
You could tell their customer service was not
located anywhere in the USA or Canada.

    Catch my drift? Outsourcing.

Thanks a lot to JD for coming
    up with this number 1-800-410-1682

Its the real number and leads directly to their
    "customer service"

    Regards

I called and they said they would credit my account within 3 days.  I mysteriously got a disc, mail etc from a Grant thing and called them and cancelled what I had not ordered in the first place.  Then this co. said it was a free 21 day trial which I had not heard about.  We will hope this stops now.  Thanks for your Charged Without Permission web site.

These people have been taking my money without me knowing. I dont know who they are, or where they come from. Be careful with this network, or whatever it is, because they take your money.

I add my voice to those that have been cheated by these cyberthiefs under the name of GMP, Grantsitenet and NetWorking Agenda. They are using technicals tricks like "Social Engineering" and "Phishing" among others to get into our bank account.  My bank and credit card company have launched an investigation on them.  If nothing happen, then I believe we could manage collectively to respond with a fight back, somehow or other.  I am quite confident that all together we (how many are we?) could find enough relevent information on these cheaters to put them into deep troubles if we combine our force an energy.

I just reamed out the nice girl who is taking the flack for these theives. She assured me that my account (credit card) would be credited with the $39.95, $9.95 and $7.95 that was charged without permission. She gave me 'confirmation numbers' for each of the supposed coming refunds...we'll see! I'm going to go ahead and cancel the card since this is my second month of receiving a very nice apology from a very courteous young lady who so genuinely provided the all important (NOT!) confirmation numbers. Forget about legal attacks...this guy needs his ass kicked up and down and sideways a few times until hospital life gets to be more than an inconvenience. I would never be party to this sort of brutality...just speculating of course.

One more thing...you people who are receiving such courteous refunds should keep us posted as to wheter or not you are actually being refunded (at best), or truly cancelled without refund (at worst). From my experience this is a pass around game (from one phoney organization to another) designed to pacify the ignorant (us) with repeated apologies and confrimation numbers (but no real action).

Maybe I'm wrong but that's what seems to be going on. If I'm right, and you can't be sure until a few months have past, the sooner you cancel your card or bank account the sooner you stop the losses. Given the degeneration of societal integrity these days (helped in large part by brilliant examples provided by our government in fiscal matters), the proliferation of scams are very real. It's not that hard to open new card or bank accounts. Protect yourself and learn from the mistake.

So much for free software. I too have been stung. Read the fine print and if you absolutely  don't need it. Leave it be. He says $60.00 later. I hope there will not be an amendment next month.

Is anyone else getting charged from EZ Net, or Websaver also? Thanks for the valuable info.

Beware, I too just called and attempted to get my money back and found out that Federal Grants USA, and Network Agenda are the same company. Also, a company called Websaver started charging me 34.95 a month and they are affiliated with the other two companies and have a seperate customer service number. Check your accounts for EZ Net also.

Thank you Marie for the 800# i had to argue very hard but i am getting my 9.95 and 39.95 back. I you have a problem with them ask to talk to the supervisor and don't let them explain anything tell them that you want your money back in your account or you will contact the authorities.

VERY interesting to stumble upon this website---I'm soo glad it's here!!  I too, was dumb enough to not read the fine print!  When I was charged the 39.95 I called and complained. The operator did their darndest to convince me to keep the service.  It wasnt until I insisted upon speaking to a supervisor that he agreed to refund my $$ and cancel the service.  Too bad they don't tell you then that there will be other charges to follow OR that you'll have to cancel the other things as well!! UGHH!!!  I called the 800-479-0979 number listed in an earlier post and went through the same thing, insisting on speaking to someone else before the operator agreed to a refun of the 7.95 charge.  I was given 800-418-9320 for Network agenda.com. They don't start taking calls until 8:00 MT so I have to wait but you bet I'll be doing the same then.  WOW, what a lesson!!!!  I agree with an OP about how many others have been charged these fees and don't notice or don't know they can stop it!  WOW!!!   Lastly....yeah, definitely not in the US!!!!  Would be nice to understand more than 1/2 of what they're saying!!!!  I'm sure their phone lines are burning up!!!!!!!!!  Not a job I'd want, that's for sure!! LOL      Good luck to everyone who sees these postings and can be helped by them!!!!

I forgot to include this in my previous post.  I went back and looked at the CD website and indeed, in the fine print, is the 3 charges mentioned.  HOPEFULLY, if you've been sucessful in cancelling all 3 you'll be fine but definitely, don't let your guard down and continue checking your statements!!

Here's the fine print, copied & pasted:

For your security, all transactions on this site are protected with Secure Socket Layer encryption. By clicking "Complete Step Two!", I am ordering the Your Federal and Private Grant CD and trial membership for $1.99 S&H, after the seven day trial I will be charged $39.95 a month thereafter if I do not cancel. I also agree to the fourteen day and twenty-one day bonus trials to Search Market Members Site and Network Agenda for $7.95 a month and $9.95 a month thereafter, should I choose not to cancel. I have read and agree to the Privacy Policy | Terms & Conditions. Charges will appear on credit/debit statements as "www.MyGrantSite.net". For questions, call 1-877-495-1145 M-F, 9am-9pm, EST.
