Hey Moron's.. Some of you are really stressed out about a few phone calls.

I used to work for iQor Canada Ltd. (formally CBCL) for about a year.
Here's the deal:

It IS a real company and they are not scamming anyone for personal info. What happens is numbers get reassigned sometimes as quickly as 4 months. Your best bet is to call the number back (iQor has several different offices for a total of well over 25 numbers in total - prob a load more, I just know about 25 or so.) Give them your number (they need this in order to trace where it is they are calling - they cannot remove your number if you do not tell them what number it is they are dialing seeing as how there are over a million in each of their databases). They will then use your number to bring up an account - if the name on the account is not yours, tell them that the number has been reassigned to you and that you would like it to be removed. They WILL do so and are required by law to remove ANY number (even if it is yours) if you tell them that you do not want any more calls agian. If the account that they find Is in fact in your name, then they have a collection issue with you. IF you refuse to cooperate and the account is yours, then they will follow up and look for their money, etc. If you honestly feel that you do not owe this money but all the info is yours, they will help you out with figuring out how to fraud account was opened.

WELL THANKS KIM. We can sure tell you used to work for iQor Canada Ltd. (formally CBCL) for about a year. But why only a year? Were you not rude enough to us consumers? Did you quit or get laid off?

    You're full of sh**!  
    After THEY CALLED ME, I told them several times not to call my # AGAIN and remove it from their contact list.  
    They continue to call.
    So now, I just redial their number over & over & over while watching my favorite program.  Hoping it drives them crazy.

      This outfit is a pest.  No matter how many times you tell them that this is the wrong number and ask them to remove you from their list, they keep calling with their recorded solicitation message to call them back regarding "an important matter".  I hate sales calls like that.  At the very least, they should disclose the subject of the call and the name of the person who is to be called back in their boiler room.  

      See several postings below.  The cellular phone number of their "president" is listed there.

      I agree with you.she's full of it.with all the toll free numbers iqor has I'm beginning to wonder if their real or fake.I can see them getting another hefty fine again.they were calling me all through the month of June using an automated phone call system

      No it does not drive us crazy because we are going to get paid regardless and your helping someone AHT by hanging up the calls are merely courtesy calls to prevent your service from being turned off or any other changes that will affect the account

    This number calls me 4 or 5 times a day and never leave a voice mail or message. Calls vary from 7 AM to 10 PM. 6 and 7 days a week. I thought it was against the law to contact anyone before 8 AM or after 8 PM. As far as I know it is Canadian Bonded Credit.

      Depending on where you live if in fact it is a real company or debt collection agency they are limited to how many times a week/day they can call

        I have paid my bill but hey have not releaser the release letter for over two weeks now, so when you bashing some of these people maybe they have a point in not paying if the company bthey are paying are going to act like scum
