I've been getting a $16.95 charge to my Discover Credit Card for several months now.  I do not recall making any charges to any such service.  They say 'membership' when I tried to call the number that shows up: 888-833-7279 and the voice recorded message says 'Thank you for calling membership services.  We are unavailable at this time.  Call back during business hours....'  This seems to be what I get regardless of the time I call.

The full information that shows up on my billing is:
WC *VALUE PLUS 888-833-7279 MN 89463225 12

In looking this up on the internet, I see that I am not alone in these type charges.  I also do not know how they got my information to make such charges.

I would like to cancel and have my money refunded.

    you guys are all tards if you dont accept the offers like gift cards etc this wont happen the charges are all legit otherwise the company would be shut down people just need to use their heads and not be so stupid

    I, too, received charges from these people. I never signed up for this. I guess they still make a killing on people who do not dispute or overlook this scam. I have had this happen once on the phone several years ago. Although I have been careful, I have had to change my credit card number on several occassions because of unauthorized use. How they keep getting this information I don't know.  I was told that they would send me a refund form. I'm not holding my breath, but I will complain about them to anyone or any agency that will listen.

      I just had an unauthorized charge from them about an hour ago...and on a saturday! 7/14/12...they're not even open to dispute the charge with! I called Netspend and they told me exactly what I needed to do to have the money put back in my account...I'm gonna make the biggest fuss ever to them and whoever else I need to b/c I have had Netspend for 5yrs and NEVER had a problem...and now all of a sudden I get this charge that pops up outta nowhere! Oh yeah, you better believe I'm gonna get my money back...I advise everyone else to take a stand too...inform whoever you need to to get the appropriate people in touch with "Valueplus" and have them shut down and put outta business for fraud! I went to their website just now - what the hell would I order jelly beans and meat online for? I could go to walmart and get that [***] for cheap! Ugh! I'm so ANGRY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

      Did they send you a form? The form I received asked me to fill it out and return to CONSUMER AFFAIRS (address same as the scam company). I think some people will think the form would be reviewed by consumer affairs,so when the refund is denied "oh well,I tried and consumer affairs denied it ". And not pursue any further action.

    Same thing for me!!!!! them m-effers! I thought when I saw the charge on my bank statement that my husband just forgot to give me a reciept, but no. it's been going on for 7 months now and they have been taking the amount of 21.95. I better get my money back or else. It's soooo convenient that they magically have no info on what I bought to be signed up for this stupid value plus program. wonderful. when you ask for a supervisor nothing. total scam makes me wanna not have any debit card at all. sick of this bs and people making money off innosent people like us.

    What is this company's name anyway? (real name) why havent they been caught? Good thing my wife emailed me this "Weird transaction she doesnt recognize"... im like Baby! we're being scams, i dont remember buying anything either... so I googled it, and found this compain page... thank you guys

    I also was a victim of these scammers.  I saw that for three months my account was charged 19.99 from WC: Value Plus, I didnt know what it was but I thought it might be my husbands gamer stuff.  I finally called the number that was given on my bank statement and asked who the hell they were.  The man told me that I had signed up for coupons savings I asked him what coupon savings and he told me again I signed up for coupon savings.  I asked for what company and he wouldnt tell me I pursued and asked his name he said that he was with customer service.  Finally I got him to cancel my subscription to the coupon savings I NEVER signed up for. I called my bank and reported fraud and they are refunding all my money.

    What the heck is this company taking 424.12 out of my bank account. This is crazy every time i call this company they are a;ways close. i guess i should get someone to investigate this problem. this is crazy.

    WOW can't believe these people! they have been charging me fo a few months now and i had no idea! what a sneeky bussiness. i talked to a so called debra and informed me that i would get a letter on how to get reinbursed but most likely will take a month to get my money back! i called 888-833-7279 good luck!

    These pieces of sh*t got me too.  I ordered tickets to a college football game and some guy called me on the phone to confirm my ticket order.  He asked me a few questions and was acting helpful, next thing I know I am signed up for three different "savings programs".  WC savings, budget savers, and some other thing.  They have charged me the last two months 29.95.  I wish they had a building we could go tear down.

    $273.55 available after $25.95 purchase at WC *MON VALUEPLUS MINNETONKA MNUS on Jan 30 at 11:39 AM with your NetSpend and ACE card ending in_thats what I woke up to this morning I'm in California and it was nine o clock.this is the second charge for me and it screwed my budget up.tommorow I will go postal and start making calls.

    I just called and canceled this service, i brought something from an infomercial...never signed up for this crap. I'm glad they couldn't actually get any money out because I didn't have any on there..decline decline decline..jerks

    This is really a scam. I got a bill of $ 19.99 for coupons that I did not authorized. I called and they said, I ordered it but I did not but they took my money. I think this is the 2nd time around. VC MON VALUE PLUS by using my visa Target credit card without my knowledge. We have to do something with this company.....
