Scam Collection Calls
Complaint
MCH
Country: United States
I again received a call from this number/company in my cell phone. They call 1-2x every week. so irritating.
I had long straightened out my credit card debts in 2002. Suddenly, since 2008, I started getting calls from this company. I do not know how they got my cell ph number. I read almost all the complaints ahainst this company and now am convinced they they are scammers.
Should we all band together and file a class action suit? Or, report this company to the authorities in ur respective cities/states?

They buy legally uncollectable debt - sometimes referred to as Zombie Debt.
Class Action Suit? Not a bad idea.

If you Contact News Media do not speak about arbitrary and capricous use of document and force or the effect of dehumanizing innocent or intelligent people. It seems to be an untouchable apple-cart.
Bottom line
BE STRONG!
Call them every nasty name you can think.
Sooner or later they stop.
Make their dirty job very hard!
F__k them!
If they fail to send it within 5 days (give them 10 days considering the mail), and they keep calling, contact your state Attorney General to report their violation of FDCPA (their failure to send the required letter, which also violates many state's debt collection laws).
If they are contacting you about someone else's debt, they are probably also scewing with your credit files.
Better to engage them through requesting proof of the debt (in writing as allowed for by FDCPA), rather than ignore them until your credit card companies start cutting you off or jacking your rates.
Sounds like this fake company is just like them.
See FDCPA on the FTC site www.ftc.gov
Contact your state Attorney General for assistance.
telling them to quit calling or writing letters. If you did owe the debt, check statue of limitations on that debt and chances are it is uncollectible because it is too old! These "swine" have been calling me and saying that I should have a responsibility toward this debt.....they are idiots and I told them so. Also, they can't legally call more than 2 times a day or more than once a week in some states, check this out with state regulations on debt collection.Be cool, they can't do anything to you.I just let them call and don't answer the phone. When I get a new printer I will send a letter telling them to f--k off, because my debt is coverd by bankruptsy and is 19 yrs old!! Can't collect in NJ after 6 yrs.If you contact the Attorney General in their state or yours, be patient they are very busy and probably
can't act on your complaint right away.
These jerks keep calling for something I Know nothing about
