Service provided is not as offered.  Numerous variables in using the service.  They are not a phone company provider and they neglect to tell you you must also have an account or sign of with the telephone service provider.
They issue "local phone numbers" for use with inmates.  I canceled and they have yet to refund $18.00 they owe me.  They emailed me some bogus remittance slip and the refund has yet to be returned to my account.  They kept $25.00 of the initial sign up costs.

    I paid money to use Cons Call Home service.  I ended up not needing the service so I canceled my account within just a couple of days.  This was back in January.  We are now in mid June and I still have not received my refund.  Every time I call Customer Service they always tell me they are going to put in a request to process my refund.  Sometimes when I call I'm told a Supervisor is not there.  Either the Supervisor has just left or won't be in for another hour.  No matter what time of day I call.  What kind of company lets their workers run it with out Supervision?  That is a bunch of false information.  I am so upset and nobody cares about it.  I don't have extra money laying around to just give away.  This is not fair and I want something done about it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    wow dont belevie anything cons call home (millicorp) or anything they say   they take their customers serious as long as they get your money. If you call the prisons they will tell you call forwarding (cons call home) is not allowed  the prisoner can use the service but if they get caught they are in serious trouble.  they got my money, i never used the service  they promised a refund 5 months ago  if i call them now they will tell me im getting a refund  all LIES  now they said they sent a partial refund to my bank   guess waht its not there  they said take it up with the bank  said they could not refund my whole amount because of fees  they charged like 70.00 fee non refundable buts thats not what they said when i signed up   the people who run it should go to prison then try to use their own service  SCAM!!!!!

    I Cannot beleive how they are still in business  how do we do a class action law suit!!!!   they need to go to jail  im tired of telling my story of getting ripped off  and everytime i talked to them they lied said i was getting a refund when they never intended on giving a refund

      This company is a scam. After they assigned a new phone # to my sisters phone, she received scam phone calls on her phone. I gave them my phone # also received a scam call something is definitely very wrong. We are both senior citizens.

    My story is same as yours  we are not getting a refund an there are no supervisors  its a huge scam  they even went so far as to say the otherday that they recentlt refund my account after 5 months  but its not there.  they then pretty much blame my bank for stealing it

      i hate to tell u   u r not getting a refund   i am in same boat  lie after lie and no money back  sad thing is this service is not even allowed in the prisons thats why i did not use it  i see so MANY complaints  yet they are still in bussiness

      maybe you shouldn't have signed up for something you didn't need.  just because you don't need something doesn't mean you're due a refund. you purchased service.. wether you use that service is up to you.

        What kind of business do you own, or do you work for Cons Call Home /  Millicorp. You are a con yourself. How many scams do you run? Or better still, do you own cons call home / Millicorp?

        It's not that they didn't use the service, it's that the service was unusable. The structure of the cons call home service and the way customers are allowed to set up accounts creates a serious security breach for the prisons because there are no measures in place to prevent persons from anonymously setting up accounts with Amex gift cards so that inmates could call and terrorize their victims.

      The service has been working great for me so I dunno why other people are having such huge problems with this company. I did a lot of research into it before I signed up, especially cause their FAQ page didn't answer a lot of questions I had. For one the refund policy is not gone over very well on the page and I had a salesperson explain this to me thoroughly, and it seems to me that maybe most people don't realize their gonna be charged until the end of their billing cycle. Depends on plan you have, some are monthly or yearly, but they clearly stated the initial startup fee cannot be refunded. I also was kinda suspicious that they bounce phone lines, but found ECFS filing on the FCC website, and the company is a complete legit VOIP provider, and after 6 months haven't had any problems with them. Yeah it took awhile to find me a phone number to use but it was worth the wait. I think people need to do research into comapnies they do business with on the internet before you just go for it. Just seems to me like no one who commented here actually understands the terms of their policy.

        wait til u cancel with them an they keep chargen u go 2 gmail get a account then set up a account with google voice for free an bab u get 2.00$calls from jail

        research them through bbb they have over 300 complaints not 2 include the other 1000 not reported u r bein ripped off i used them for 3 months an got robbed 4 months i didnot use there service

        Hey Vicky, call cons call home, put about $500.00 on you credit card, then call them and cancel on them, then see if you can find any thing nice to say about them.

      Seriously, why does everyone think nowadays that they can get a refund for anything they want? You people would seriously be suffering 50 years ago when there weren't refunds for anything. Don't buy something unless you're absolutely sure, especially something online... Otherwise grow up and deal with the stupid decisions you've made!

      Cons call home Millicorp or whatever you want to call them are a total and complete rip off.  They are very professional to get you to sign up with them but when you try to end it becomes a nightmare.  I cancelled my subscription and to this day I have yet to receive my refund.  The money may be a samll amount to them but its my money.
      I have now decided to contact my local tv station investigative team and have them do a story on cons call home.  I have also contacted a lawyer and will be taking legal action. Yes it may cost me more in the end but I intend to show Millicorp that we have rights and we intend to be treated fairly.
