Service provided is not as offered. Numerous variables in using the service. They are not a phone company provider and they neglect to tell you you must also have an account or sign of with the telephone service provider.
They issue "local phone numbers" for use with inmates. I canceled and they have yet to refund $18.00 they owe me. They emailed me some bogus remittance slip and the refund has yet to be returned to my account. They kept $25.00 of the initial sign up costs.

Big mistake I tried it again, this time they ended up giving me a Virginia area code for a MA jail once again it didn't work and I cancelled. I was told that I couldn't receive a refund.
Now, I tried one last time with them and this time the calls go through, only one problem THERE A SCAM! you have to put the money in for that specific jail with Securus, and when I put the money in the calls are billed through Securus, those 300 minutes they say you'll get per month THAT'S A LIE... I constantly have to add money to Securus all the time and I haven't even used 300 minutes. I check every time after a call how many minutes I used as well as how much I had to pay for the call and it always charges me .11 cents a minute so where are those 300 minutes are coming in ? They're not. These people are just scamming everyone and preying on people that are already having to deal with the unfortunate situation of having a loved one in jail, and that's really petty of them. I'd say write the Better Business Bureau and the FCC. I would think if anything they should at least be smart enough to even lower they're fee's for those people who just want an extra phone line on their phone for they're incarcerated loved ones.
