    Sick of these calls
Thanks so much for this information!!  You must have done a lot of research to get the name of these companies.  I will be filing a complaint against this company.  I am on the Do Not Call Registry and still get these harassing phone calls.  When I challenge the phone call, they hang up on me every time.  Some people will do anything for money.

I get calls from these jerks on a regular basis. I keep them occupied all the way up to the point of when they ask for the credit card number. Then I unload on them. I use all the abusive language I can muster up. I also tell them that I love their calls, because I am retired and have nothing better to do than to screw with them. I also tell them that if they take me off their list, I will have a terrible time with nothing and no one to screw with--

I have an idea maybe. The number that called me is 720 539 6698 and in colorado the mail.box is set up like every other mail box. I tried hacking into it to see if I could get any info but u only get 3 tries. If everyone tries this listen and see what you can get for info. Whwn you call.block ur number or use *67 and then the number. Its like winning the lottery but given how many of us their are who knows maybe so.eone gets.lucky. Im out of all other ideas to stop this crap!

Thank you for your information.  I'm sick of them calling our home.  Two weeks ago, I stayed on the line long enough to speak with someone so I could cancel their calls.  They said they would.  My husband and I are now getting calls on our cell phone.  I just received a call, asked the caller to please transfer me to her supervisor.  I told her my situation and she promptly disconnected.  I am NOT impressed with this company.  I was given the opportunity to use sky miles from Continental Airlines at a very reduced rate through this company.  The company charged me again last year and guess what...no magazines!!!

i get calls on a daily basis between my home phone and cell phone.  i hang on every time to speak to someone about having my number removed.  i am usually hung up on, once i was told that i should just file a complain because obviously the do not call list wasn't doing it's job o_O  i've asked for a supervisor and am hung up on.  i have attempted to call back EVERY number they've called me from in the last two weeks and it's never active - always 'this user is not accepting incoming calls'.

i know better than to give them my information, but it's such a hassle and it is slowly chewing in to my cell phone minutes.  the numbers are often from local area codes so i'm always concerned it could be a friend or family member that needs me.  now i'm just pissed off and want to find out as much as i can about them.

Thank you Jackie (if that's your real name). You can tell your Boss at Card Member Service that you posted.

I have gotten probably 50 of these calls from Credit Card Services.  The front line people are just trying to get info to "refer" to a financial person who them can tell you who they are. HA.  I am on the Federal Do Not Call List so this has not helped.

I have hit the 3 key which they say discontinues the calls and it does not work.  I am at my wits end.  At least I kept them on the phone for awhile.

"Card Member Services" I just called (888) 583-1956 and a girl named Lisa said she would put my number on their do not call list. The web site (about web design) however doesn't seem to have anything to do with credit issues. I'll let you know if I get another call. She said it shouldn't take more than 48 hours. Thanks for the info.

Call BBB  Card Member Services is a scam and they can be fined up to 100, 000 per call. Keep and report reach phone number and time. The BBB & the CCCS are asking for reports of each contact and call. You can also file a police report and then report that to your phone company and they are then able to run a tap on your phone to end the continued calls and scams.

I understand card member services has a dba of America's #1 choice but I can't find any mention of this on line. Their fee is now up to $995 which they want to charge before they can process any rate reductions. Message is full of holes and of course any written guarantees of their services won't appear until you've paid their fee. I was told they wouldn't have spent 20 mins. on the phone w/ me if they weren't legit but I commented that $995 wasn't a bad return on 20 mins. work. Eventually I had to hang up to end the conversation but it has encouraged me to re-negotiate rates myself.

This Card member services keeps calling me with different numbers each time except for the last 2 times, which were 2 days in a row. When I ask to stop calling me after hitting option 1 and talking with a live person, they hang up on me. One guy told me to hit option 3 and that would stop the calling but that just made them call 2 days in a row. I placing a complaint to the FCC and see if that helps.

I think the next time they call I'll hit the option 1 and blow a whistle in their ear. Hopefully they won't call me again because they won't be able to hear after that. I'm so tired of these calls, they are getting more frequent and they aren't taking my name off their list.

I am so tired of their calls. I asked the name of the company and she just says Cardmember services. I have asked to be removed from their lists many times and they still call. Today I again told them to take me off their calling lists or that I would pursue legal action. She actually told me, "Why don't you blow it out your @#!$". I couldn't believe it. I hope her supervisor hears the call. Horrible people.

I called the number provided by Sandy and spoke to a "Lisa".  Told her I didn't have a credit card but they could keep calling if they anted and I would continue to waste their time, but it would just be easier to take me off the list, LOL.  We'll see what happens, in the meantime, I swill just keep stinging them along and documenting their phone calls in hopes that someday this nonsense can be stopped.  I would love for them to be fined millions!

I too have received numerous phone calls from Card Member Services at all times of day and night both at home and on my cell phone (both are on the Do Not Call list) -- all of their "representatives" are incredibly ignorant and rude. I have been pestered over 25 times to be sure and have been hung up on when I ask to be put on their DNC list. I am going to contact my state Attorney General's office and lodge a formal complaint and urge you all to do the same in your respective states. May not get me anywhere but will make me feel better!

Here is what we need to do !   It might be the only thing that will work.

    Give them false information.
A fake card number and name will keep them busy going to dead ends.  We need to keep doing this over and over and over. They will get nothing but extra labor and frustration out of it.  Maybe . . . they will cross you off the phone list if they know you will only give them fake information every time.
A fake name and number will give them nothing but aggravation.

These jerks don't give a damn about how mad you get. I'm sure they are laughing about it and comparing stories about what we do and say when they call.  I have called and talked to the State Attorney General's office about this and they say they can't track them down. I don't believe this for a minute.  I guarantee that if they call the White House and threaten the president they will track them down within days.

I suggest you make a phone call to your States Attorney General's Office and complain.
Maybe enough phone calls will give them an incentive to do something.
