For months now, I've been getting several calls a week from "Rachel" about "lowering my credit card rates"  I called the WV better business bureau, and they said they'd been getting them too, no suggestions about how to stop it.

    Just got another absolutely ANNOYING call from Rachel. Previously, over the last six months, I have pressed the correct number to be taken off the list -- only to get another call from Ashley, then Heather, now back to Rachel. I have talked to a person several times and yelled and other times, very politely, asked them to stop. This time, she asked me why I was calling her -- blew my stack and yelled at her "You called me!" She abruptly hung up. After reading above post, I see Linda may be calling me too. I can't take it anymore. I NEED these calls to stop to save my sanity. I work at home and need to answer the phone for clients. Yes, I am on the do not call list. Yes, I have hit the number to stop calls. Yes, I have tried to talk to them. HELP!

      these idiots call me everyday as ANN or RACHEL I gave them a phoney credit card number and they put me thru to a 'real' person and number instead of the spoof number you can't trace.

    Please everyone, file a complaint with the Do not Call registry.  If enough of do this, they are going to catch this bas....  I cannot even begin to tell you how disruptive these people are.  Two, three calls on my cell and home EVERY Da..DAY!
    I tried to talk to one of there fools and got the same run around, then she hung up on me.  CREDIT CARD SERVICES, MAY YOU ROT IN JAIL!

      I have complained SO many times about Rachel on the DO NOT CALL LIST.  It is a wasted effort, because with all the Right Wing shut down of Government offices, there is nobody there!  Do you know who is sitting in the DO NOT CALL CENTER taking the complaints?  The American Marketing Association!  Hey, the banks OWN our politicians so nobody will ever fine these organizations so blatantly disregarding the law and the do not call list which is why it never stops.  Keep voting Republican and you can expect lots more of this kind of abuse!

        What Right Wing shut downs are you talking about? There's a democratic president trying to expand all government agencies. The banks own what politicians? Whose Kool-aid have you been drinking? Would it be too much trouble for you to support your statements with facts? The banks are "fine" organizations? I don't even know where to begin with all your inconsistencies.The president wants to protect everyone from their own stupidity why would he make it harder for you?

        You stupid Dem's can't see your hand in front of your face!! Wake up and smell the health care that was jammed up our ass. How about the failed stimulus, the price of gas (which will be going down till after the election) then back up like last time, the economy or whats left of it, the taxes that will be raised for the rich who worked hard for their success and hire American workers. Raise their taxes and then [***] when they take their business over seas. I know none of this is getting through because I talk to you stupid democrats all the time and you seem to have that wall up and can't see( or want to see ) what is really going on in this world. So if your obama wins again ,all I have to say is don't blame me I voted for the American.

    OK, people, listen up.  These "Rachels, Heathers" etc of "Credit Card Services" need to be reported NOT ONLY to the donotcall.gov site, but file a complaint at the Federal Trade Commission web site (ftc.gov).  You can do it online or call their toll-free complaint line.  These "shady characters" change their phone number every couple of days in order to not be detected.  They will call your cell phone if they haven't already.  And they have been calling me for the last 3 years - I only recently started reporting it to the FTC. The FTC won't act unless enough people complain.  DO IT PLEASE! - STRENGTH IN NUMBERS!!!

    I just got ANOTHER call from Rachel. When I pressed 1, and actually spoke to a representative, I politely asked how I could be removed from the call list. The young "lady" said F**k you too man, and hung up. This robocall stuff has got to stop.

    Well here's a twist "Rachel" called my son's phone today and he pressed 1 to speak to someone. The man asked him if he wanted to refinance his credit card and my son told him he didn't even have a credit card so why was he calling and, of course, the man hung up. Knowing how upset I had been about being plagued by these calls, he called the same number back and the recording answered "Thank you for calling the National Do Not Call Registry, please stay on the line if you want to enter your number....." Either the Do Not Call Registry has sold us out, or these "Rachel" pod people are even more evil and insidious than I had dared to imagine. I agree they must be reported, but I am going to stick with the the .gov websites in light of our recent experience! I think I am going to contact my congressman as well. It's true there is strength in numbers and persistence, might I add.

    Got a call from Rachel last night at about 6 p.m., having received 5-6 in the past. We have no credit cards or other debt so we instantly know it's a fraud. I now know to push "9" as soon as the call starts to get the operator. I politely asked for the person's phone number and supervisor's name and the operator said, "I don't know who that would be" and faked putting me on hold (of course she hung up on me).

    I get calls from "Rachel" several times a week on out home phones and cell phones. I tried to stop them with no luck. Today they just hung up on me. Why can't the government stop this abuse?

    Ughhh....
    Everytime I get this call I file a complaint on my DoNotCall registry , if ever criminal case is filed I can get up to $2000 a call! So Rachel , keep the calls coming !!!!

    They are constantly calling me on my cell phone.  If I don't recognize the area code on my caller I D, I don't answer the phone.  After 3 rings, they disconnect.  Calls are from different area codes each time.  Today it was from Los Angeles, last week from Dallas, and Denver.  I have my cell phone number listed on the DO NO CALL registry, but it doesn't help!  Why are they waisting our time!!

    I followed the prompts to complain about "Rachel" calling my cell phone in the ftc website and got routed to donotcall.gov.

    All of my cell and hard lines are on "do-not-call" lists both Federal and State but these automated calls still come through. Tonight I recieved one on the hard line and two minutes later one on my cell. There must be some way to stop this harassement!

    Please help! Someone out there? Several years worth of Rachel. Always press 3 to stop the calls. Also have spoken to live operator  and both times I was hung up on.

      I just had a call yesterday.I call the FTC,she told me the calls or pouring in.This has been going on for years.You would think they could do sometime about this call

    The calls come at least once a day. It seems impossible to file a complaint because they use false caller IDs.
    I have made a game of wasting as much of their time as I can. Eventually they are on to me and immediately hang up. But, each time I lern more about how to keep them on the line as long as I can by seeing what response causes them to hang up.
    Ifp anyone h. As an idea about getting this stopped, then do it. Perhaps the new Consumer Protection Agency can handle it.
