These Jack**** people have called me 4 times today. When I finally decided to answer to see what's what, they have a dude on the line that I can barely understand saying I'm qualified for a free Gas card worth $200. They tell me I will be charged nothing untilI receive the card, then the "supervisor" gets on the line to confirm my mailing info, and wants my creditcard ###. What??? Do they think I was born yesterday, SCAM ALERT!!!   Beware I have also noitified the Phoenix Arizona Attourney General, who promised to look into this BS.

American Auto Benefits called me like a zillion times the other day, and I was getting people with a heavy accent (I will not dislose which one so I won't be called stereotypical...)But yeah, I asked them why they were giving me this card. They said that it was a sign of appreciation for shopping at various stores all over the country. My answer was, " I thought gifts were supposed to be free" And their answer was that the only thing i would be paying for was shipping costs.
I simply told them to stop calling and they did,but am worried they will fool other people. Thanks for letting the authorities know!

Then why law enforcement agencies are allowing them to keep doing this business? You have enough evidence to crack them down

Ha!  I knew it.  I've been getting those calls too.  As soon as they said I had to pay for delivery, I said, "If you want to send me money, please do so, and deduct the shipping amount from the total."  That's as far as I would take it.

Then today I got another call and asked how they expected me to pay.  He asked for my card expiration date.  I didn't give it, but said, "You want my expiration date and card number?"  He said, "Yes", and I immediately hung up.

I received this phone call today. Same routine.  I asked the woman whom it was difficult to understand to spell the name of the organization. She was offering free gas money of $200 or $250. I said nothing is free. She told me I ask too many questions, and even laughed as though I caught her red handed. I hung up saying "scam, scam".

Oh my gosh !!! Slightly annoying,(all a person has to do is say no) and also mildly amusing...if a person wants to play mind-games with a scammer.I was called numerous times,in a day, when I answered and said I was not interested,I thought that would be the end,but it wasn't.I was called today...same modus operandi..thick difficult to understand accent, curt, illogical answers ,promises of free $200.00 gas card for paying my bills on time et cet.Any way, consumer beware. They call themselves American Auto Benefits

I called !-877-472-1629 and said I wanted to be removed from their call list or I would be filing a complaint with a government agency. They answer customer service, and the foreign accented male person(I won't call him a gentleman) assured me I would not be receiving any more calls. Try it.It's a good feeling.

these people are awful. I have been harassed for 4 days straight! They have even gone so far as to tell me they had my credit card number and they were going to do whatever they wanted with it! I am appalled! I am going to the Better Business Bureau with this and I suggest anyone else who has had a bad experience do the same so this company can get shut down and no one else will have to deal with these horrible people.

I received a call from them today and they claimed that my information had been given to them by a gas station that I had purchased from recently.  They would not tell me the gas station or where the information came from, they "just wanted to confirm my information" so they could send the gas vouchers.  When I pressed them about where they got the information and asked who they were and how I could contact them they got agitated and hung up on me.
I have filed a complaint with my state attorney general and requested an investigation into either the fraudulent claims or the disclosure of personal information by merchants to an unauthorized 3rd party.

That is what I am talking about  ! Honest consumer citizens unite in the fight against corruption ! Who is the attorney general,(sounds military) and how does a person get in touch with him ? Also what does he do and does he care and will he really do anything ?

I got the same call 10 minutes ago.  The man would not give me the source of his information.  He did finally give the company name.  He said "American Auto", the (800) 873-1652 number called it American Benefits.  When I called there was a lot of noise in the background, hed did not answer professionally at all.  He just said "Hello" and asked "Did you get a call from us?"  It sounded good, $200.00, but I asked him just send the card, why do you need my Visa number, and he kept saying for shipping and handling.  That should have been 44 cents.
