These Jack**** people have called me 4 times today. When I finally decided to answer to see what's what, they have a dude on the line that I can barely understand saying I'm qualified for a free Gas card worth $200. They tell me I will be charged nothing untilI receive the card, then the "supervisor" gets on the line to confirm my mailing info, and wants my creditcard ###. What??? Do they think I was born yesterday, SCAM ALERT!!!   Beware I have also noitified the Phoenix Arizona Attourney General, who promised to look into this BS.

Just received a call from Adam, wanting to give me $250.00 dollar gas voucher, to use anywhere in the U. S. Just need experation date of your credit card, for shiping and handeling. $1.95. Are you crazy? I dont give any information of my credit cards to call centers from India. Yes go ahead and sue me for racial profiling, But that is where it came from, not pheonix Az.
Why the U. S. allows this is beyond me, there are many U. S. citezens that are out of work, and could use a job at any rate of pay.

    Shaun,
They are amazing scammers ! If you read the complaints you will find that one individual had $60.00 extracted from their account !!! So, we the honest people object to " American Auto Benefits" exploiting every one they can..(they are not American either )They will call you back over and over.. Ask them a lot of Questions... play hard to get..,string them along...and you will be giving them a dose of their own medicine..,then post your achievements so others can learn from your accomplishments !

I got the same call the rest of you got and googled the company name and came up with this site.  They are obviously a scam and thanks for posting as it certainly kept me from giving out my information.  If I hear from them again I will call the attorney general and make a complaint.

I received the same call, took them up on the offer.  Questioned the quy with the heavy accent multiple times about the terms of the deal and was told that I would only have to fill out a questionnaire in order to receive such benefits.  Also questioned twice if I would be automatically signed up for anything automatically, indicating that I did not want his offer if this was a part of the deal.  I was told repeatedly that this was not the case.  I was then put on a recorded interview to complete the transaction, being told I would only pay for shipping and handling, which turned out to be$35+.  In the middle of this recorded interview I was asked questions that I felt were contrary to the information that I had been asked previously so I quit answering them even though I had been told that by the sales person that I could not stop at any point along the way or this would invalidate the entire deal.  The sales person came on the phone immediately and asked me why I had done this and I told him that the questions I was being asked to agree to were in direct opposition to the information to the information he had given me.  Again he reassured me that his information was the correct information.  At this point, I was recording him and I repeated all of my original questions.  I completed the recorded questions.

Today I received a packet that indicated that I was signed up for American Auto Benefits and Odyssey World Travel.  Both had the same number to call for customer service.  This packet also laid out a huge number of requirements that I had to complete to get gas voucher, not the least of which was joining American Auto Benefits and Odyssey World travel.  The cost of joining these organizations was still not outlined and the benefits of joining them were not more than I have under my regular insurance and coupons you can get out of weekly fliers that are mailed to your home.

I went to my credit card statements on line, looked up what I had been billed, got a different phone number for the company and called that number.  After explaining to the person on the phone (also with a heavy accent) that what had occurred was fraud all of my money was refunded to my credit card, I was taken off of their calling and mailing lists, and deleted from everything that they may have enrolled me in. The conversation was slightly heated on my end and I did mention reporting them for interstate fraud and having recorded them.  I do plan to do this as soon as my money is re-credited!

I would encourage as many people as possible to report this company because there are elderly people out there and people less able to defend themselves who will be taken advantage of by them.  The more complaints, the more likely that they will be shut down.

The American Auto Benefits place has called me 34 times since May 6th. I have answered at least half of those calls. These people are persistent. I have answered and listened, then hung up. Answered and told them to quit calling, I have also answered and told them to [***] off. I've asked them nicely to leave me alone, the last time they called was about half hour ago, my best friend answered and she asked them to talk to their supervisor, or vice pres. or CEO, or even the manager. I guess the guy didn't understand the term supervisor and he just said he would quit calling. We will see what happens. If they call me again, I am gonna answer but ask for a phone number I can call them back and turn it into the police. I'm getting tired of the calls. Sorry AAB... I'm not stupid enough to fall for your little scams.

Wow...these good-for-nothing geeks are really just terrible with this scam. Well, Jose Martins said that he was there to offer me a gas voucher of $200 and then wants me to pay for shipping and handling??? You for real!!! If they can afford to give me a voucher for $200 why then they need me to pay a dollar and change for shipping!!! I'm just saying that I am really fed up with people's stupidity! Get a real job please!!!

I told them the same thing, my husband can trace calls and I notified them that he would be tracing their call and that I would be reporting them, except they already had my debit card information, now i fear that they will screw my identity

I gotten a phone call from them today and the scary thing about it is they already had my debit information, they called me to verify my info which i have no idea how they got it in the first place. I called the police and made a report and then as i checked my online bank account they charged something to my account. I now have my bank filing fraud charges on them and the police are investigating them.
