Country: United States
These Jack**** people have called me 4 times today. When I finally decided to answer to see what's what, they have a dude on the line that I can barely understand saying I'm qualified for a free Gas card worth $200. They tell me I will be charged nothing untilI receive the card, then the "supervisor" gets on the line to confirm my mailing info, and wants my creditcard ###. What??? Do they think I was born yesterday, SCAM ALERT!!! Beware I have also noitified the Phoenix Arizona Attourney General, who promised to look into this BS.

Why the U. S. allows this is beyond me, there are many U. S. citezens that are out of work, and could use a job at any rate of pay.
They are amazing scammers ! If you read the complaints you will find that one individual had $60.00 extracted from their account !!! So, we the honest people object to " American Auto Benefits" exploiting every one they can..(they are not American either )They will call you back over and over.. Ask them a lot of Questions... play hard to get..,string them along...and you will be giving them a dose of their own medicine..,then post your achievements so others can learn from your accomplishments !
I am def filing a complaint.
Today I received a packet that indicated that I was signed up for American Auto Benefits and Odyssey World Travel. Both had the same number to call for customer service. This packet also laid out a huge number of requirements that I had to complete to get gas voucher, not the least of which was joining American Auto Benefits and Odyssey World travel. The cost of joining these organizations was still not outlined and the benefits of joining them were not more than I have under my regular insurance and coupons you can get out of weekly fliers that are mailed to your home.
I went to my credit card statements on line, looked up what I had been billed, got a different phone number for the company and called that number. After explaining to the person on the phone (also with a heavy accent) that what had occurred was fraud all of my money was refunded to my credit card, I was taken off of their calling and mailing lists, and deleted from everything that they may have enrolled me in. The conversation was slightly heated on my end and I did mention reporting them for interstate fraud and having recorded them. I do plan to do this as soon as my money is re-credited!
I would encourage as many people as possible to report this company because there are elderly people out there and people less able to defend themselves who will be taken advantage of by them. The more complaints, the more likely that they will be shut down.
