These Jack**** people have called me 4 times today. When I finally decided to answer to see what's what, they have a dude on the line that I can barely understand saying I'm qualified for a free Gas card worth $200. They tell me I will be charged nothing untilI receive the card, then the "supervisor" gets on the line to confirm my mailing info, and wants my creditcard ###. What??? Do they think I was born yesterday, SCAM ALERT!!!   Beware I have also noitified the Phoenix Arizona Attourney General, who promised to look into this BS.

Actually this happened to my wife! They called her and told her about the same deal $200 buck gas card for a $2 delivery charge for the card to be shipped to us. So she told them to speak with me and told them that she doesnt have a CC. That guy called like 8 times then I decided to pick up. I talked to him. He told me the same deal. Like all of you it was hard to hear what he was saying. Then he was really trying to get me to give my CC number to him but I told him that $200 doesnt get me anything and $200 bucks means nothing to me and I dont want it. But he kept presisting.

Afterwards, I was tired of his [***]. So I told him to send me the card. So then he was like give me the CC number for the $2 charge. I told him if you can afford to give me $200 then $2 should be no big deal and to send it. I told him that a couple of times. Then HE HUNG up!

No call back from him..but I got a TEXT message today...hahaa...

The same thing happened to me today. They called me once yesterday, but I did not answer. When I answered today they gave me the same line, "I'm calling from American Auto Benefits." They wanted me to verify the information they already had; my address, phone#, and expiration date on my card. When I told them I was on to their scam they hung up. Lol. When I reversed the phone number it came up as an unlisted landline phone in North Dakota, but they told me they were in Arizona.

They same thing happened to my fiance`. We found out what gas station they got our information from and we are going to report them first thing in the morning. We have been telling our family all about the scam in hopes that they will spread the word as well.

I got a text message yesterday saying that I had won a $20 gift card and a $200 gas card and I needed to call a 1-800 number to claim. I called because I wanted to know who the message came from and ended up talking to someone with a heavy Indian accent. I asked repeatedly where they got my number and the response I got EVERY time was that it came from their resource department. When I asked to be transferred to the so-called "resource department" I was told that I couldn't be transferred because they weren't connected. I was told that if I give them my debit/credit card info and $2 I would get a $200 gas gift card that I could use anywhere. Seriously, who just gives away gas gift cards these days?? I finally asked to speak to the supervisor (and specifically requested someone who might be able to understand my questions and not give me the same freakin answer every time) and another person with an accent came on the phone. He seemed SHOCKED that I didn't think it was an incredible deal. He kept saying that I could use the gas card anywhere in the U.S. blah blah blah. He even went as far as to tell me that my number was selected because I am a "loyal gas customer." How many people do you know that AREN'T loyal gas customers?? I finally told the guy that he wouldn't be getting my information PERIOD and that I would be reporting him to the BBB to which he replied "you can't do that." I told him that he bets his sweet ass I can and then he hung up. It was actually the highlight of my day to tell him where to go, which is quite sad! Anyway... this is obviously a scam. If you are thinking about giving these people your info just remember that you should NEVER GIVE YOUR INFORMATION TO SOMEONE WHO CONTACTS YOU BECAUSE THEY WILL PROBABLY TAKE YOUR MONEY AND RUN!!

I keep reading the same story over and over on this site. First and for most, I'd like to say thank you to everyone who has posted their experience here. Just like everyone else, I had an Easterner (probably from India) call me and tell me I won a gas voucher for $200 for my prior purchases. I asked him the name of his company, he replied American Auto Benefits located in Arizona. I immediately started recording the conversation and began Looking them up online. I told the Rep. I couldn’t find their company website and asked him for the web address. He completely ignored me and transferred me to his Stupidvisor… I mean Supervisor. We argued back and forth for a while before my cell phone finally died. I was trying to keep them on the phone for as long as I could and record as much as I was able to. Hopefully that will help as evidence.

Just got the call, but they informed me that I earned points each time I used my Visa at the gas tank.  I asked them if I could take their number to return the call to confirm they were legit (I was not born yesterday).  He told me - in the heavy accent - they were using a one way call type of program.  Told them I was busy, to call me later, and I googled them.  Came across this gem of a website.  I'll tell them off tomorrow when they call me back.

They are completely liars. I was told, "what kinda human being wouldn't want this deal?" They have no respect, and it totally sounds like a scam if i'm getting disrespected because I have questions about why they are asking me for 2 dollars.

I got a call from them just now, of course they can't tell me where they got my phone number from. I would never give out my card information and I told them that since they can't provide me with the name of the marketing partner that called, I will be filing a complaint and they will have to give me the names of all the marketing partners.
There is a statutory fine, read this statutes. They may have promissed you $200, but they owe you $500 or more, depending of how many violations there are. The statute is 47USC227.

my sister got a call from them saying that this "American Auto Benefits" had her card number and they just wanted to send her a walmart gift card of $50. All she had to do was pay $3.90 shipping and handling. She declined their offer and hung up, they called back four times and I answered for her the fifth time. The guy was saying he just needed to give her the confirmation number from her transaction so her cc# info would be secured. He said if he didn't give her the conf number that her cc# info would not be protected. What is that about? I argued with him and told him that the transaction had not been approved by my sister. I asked for his supervisor and he said he was. I told him he was not the owner so there is someone above him. He handed the call over to the guy sitting next to him I'm sure. I gave him a horrible time about acting like a supervisor and the bs he was trying to pull. He finally hung up. These guys were very rude and were not at all professional. Be ware of this, don't do it.

I just recived a call from these jerks. The man actually got ANGRY that I refused to give him my CC# !!! He gave me a web address, which did not provide ANYTHING to my satisfaction. He said I must not know how to spell or use a computer.. A little offended and pissed off at that point I asked to speak to an American... He literally covered the phone with his hand, and returned with the worst attempt at an American accent I had ever heard... These people are calling themselves American Auto Benefits...... Please, WHAT A JOKE!! While on the phone still, I stumble upon this site and its list of complaints.. I began reading some of them out loud, and he got all freaked out, and demanded the name of this site!! As I continued ranting away about these complaints he handed  the phone off to not 1 but 3 different people to listen!!!! Like they wanted to shut this thing DOWN!!! He refused to remove me from the call list, and the call connection was being interupted. It was on their end, my land line is fine. WHATEVER YOU DO, DOOOO NOT BUY INTO THIS SCAM. A gift is a gift. If they need your measly " $2.00 " that bad, they could deduct it from your winnings. S C A M
