Using various phone numbers with local area codes and/or prefixes, this company places numerous unsolicited telephone calls to my cell phone each month. I do not answer unrecognized numbers, but instead call the initiating number back on a land line. The response I get is: "Thank you for calling WCA Subscriber Services. This is a subscriber service number and your phone number is not recognized as a subscriber." My research indicates that this company is not a legitimate business, but is instead, a massive scam mill. They need to be stopped.

      I do not have a WOW account, and I received a call on my landline from this number.  Nobody spoke, and it took two minutes for the line to disconnect, I waited w/my phone on speaker.  I have no idea what its about, but I dialed back blocking my number, and received recorded message saying,
      "WCA, can not accept calls from blocked numbers, but I can call back from an unblocked number". How nice of them.  WHO IS THIS?  they used my local area code and the number 382 2171.

        The # that shows up on mine is my area code and #304-3852 and another 304 #.....How do we stop these calls?????????????? Help

      I do not have WOW cable...and I am receiving these calls...so I do not think it is Wow Cable, Mike!

    Go to www.wcaconsent.com/removal and you can remove your # from their list.  They are a company that businesses hire to do their telemarketing.

      The link wors, just go to the main domain prior to the / and at the bottom it has removal procedures..I just did mine.

    WCA only call cell phones, they steal $10 from your cell units whenever you answers. I have called my carrier to block their number, but they change their telephone number using same area code as my cell and they call every month! They stole $40.00 for four months from my cell. How do they get away with this ,all cell provider should protect their subscribers.

      WCA have never called my cell phone, but they have called my land line and Fax line several times and my numbers are on a, " Do Not Call List "

      No they actually call landlines too. They call my home at least once or twice a week and I never answer.  When I call back blocked the recording says they do not accept blocked calls.  

      I am going to try the web site above to remove my number.  They are a real pain.

      Doing that increased the quantity of robo calls from this company. You are obviously a shill from the company trying to gather additional phone numbers by having naïve people like me try to treat you as a company with integrity rather than as the criminal enterprise that you so clearly are.

    I was receiving many robo calls from this number. So I unsubscribed both when they called and online through their website, and I filed a complaint with the FCC and th Do Not Call Registry.  Net result: an increase in robo calls from this mafia-type, illegal and unethical business. They are spoofing the caller ID which is illegal and there is nothing anyone can or will do about these crooks.
