I purchased this pressure washer at Home Depot 7/22/08 for $299.00, used it once for less than 2 hours, stored it EXACTLY the way the owners manual instructed, and pulled it out on 5/4/11 to wash the side of my house. I hooked it up,added gas, turned on the water...Honda engine fired right up but the side of the pump is spraying water out of the fittings. No pressyre at all.If this is the kind of junk Home Depot is selling, I won't deal with them anymore.Use it one time and THEN spend $100.00 to $200.00 on a new pump,(I checked) or take it in for repair,($35.00 just to look at it)I realize it's out of warranty, but come on,LESS than two hours. I'd like to hope Home Depot would be willing to do something about this since there are obviously issues with this item

I too have the same complaint regarding the Husky gas pressure washer HU80722, a new replacement pump I'm sure will take care of the problem.

Same issue.  I have the pressure washer for 3 years now.  It has always run like a champ.  I put over 100 hours on it the first month.  After that it ran only about 3 times a year.  Then I loaned to to a friend and he returned it seized up.  I dropped the pump and it cranked on the first pull.

Since it is locked up, I guess I will get a new pump.  But an aftermarket model and not OEM replacement.

Husky is a Home Depot brand.  So they should at least sell the replacement pump.

Pulled my garage stored HU80722 pressure washer out Saturday, Honda engine snapped to attention, then then pump froze on the first trigger pull. This was the 5th or 6th time this washer was ever used, maybe ten hours of run time. Ridiculous PRC junk pump! Home Depot I will be writing. This pump was acting up the last time I used it in August, I should have searched the web then.

Well, I just went to use my pressure washer for the first time this year and now have the same problem. I read through the complaints and decided to email sheronda_care@homedepot.com to see if they could do anything for me. Within minutes after sending the email, I received a response back from Robert G. at robert_care@homedepot.com assuring me that they were going to get it resolved. Apparently they use Homelite/TTI Group to provide replacement parts, warranty service, etc. on these units, so a POC from them was CC'd as well. Still early to tell, but I am am glad that I found this site before I just went out and dropped more coin on a new pressure washer. We'll see what happens, but I am feeling pretty optimistic. Hope this helps anyone else out there. Nonetheless, I won't be buying anymore Husky junk, that is for sure.

Same problem. No pressure after a short time of light operation. Then I purchased a 2700 series pump which replaces the 2600, installed it per manual and IT won't  pump. Who do I call? Where do I go? Totally pissed and frustrated.

Home Depot HU80722 Pressure washer. PUMP DEAD!! Used 4-5 times now no pressure? Looking for replacement pump Apx $50-100. Or go to northern hydraulic for replacement pump and spend $200 for a good one that will last forever!  I got a $300 Home Cheapo piece of crap that is sitting here taking up garage space? WTF?

Same as everybody else. Even change the oil after 1 hour with syntetic. Stored it and crap, never worked again. ONE TIME ONLY. Now I have a great HONDA engine. Any takers? Cheap

I too have loss of presure problem but with HU80520. Engine runs fine but absolutly no pressure after using unit a couple times. Husky is a joke! On the label, they put "Husky, the toughest tools around! This will certainly be my last Husky product!

It seems we all agree.  The Honda engine is awesome and the pump sucks.  I bought mine as a recon and am willing to replace the pump.  Does anyone know if I can put a 3000HP on as a replacement?  I don't want to damage the engine and I don't want to exchange a bad pump for another and end up where I am now.  Any suggestions regarding successful pump replacement will be greatly appreciated.

Just sent Sheronda an email. Have not used my HU80722 Husky pressure washer in over a year, stored as directed, pull it out to use and NO Pressure...Checked all hoses and nozzles, blew them out and still no pressure. I have only used this damn thing a half dozen times ! I really cannot believe that Honda has allowed itself to be associated with a company like Husky. As for Home Depot, if don't get some satisfaction from them in dealin with this problem, then my shopping days there are over. Waiting to hear from them now by email, will keep all of you posted.

Had the same exact problem as everyone else, I used my Husky HU80722 pressure washer only a few times in the last 2 years to pressure wash the house and the pump failed on the first try this year. After reading all the posts, I e-mailed Sheronda at Home Depot and she was very helpful, took care of putting me in contact with Ashley at TTI for a replacement pump right away. Received the new pump at no charge UPS to my door a couple weeks later, replaced the old pump and everything has worked perfectly. The new pump design is better, and the hoses connect at the rear which is easier. Definitely contact Sheronda to resolve the pump problem.
