I purchased this pressure washer at Home Depot 7/22/08 for $299.00, used it once for less than 2 hours, stored it EXACTLY the way the owners manual instructed, and pulled it out on 5/4/11 to wash the side of my house. I hooked it up,added gas, turned on the water...Honda engine fired right up but the side of the pump is spraying water out of the fittings. No pressyre at all.If this is the kind of junk Home Depot is selling, I won't deal with them anymore.Use it one time and THEN spend $100.00 to $200.00 on a new pump,(I checked) or take it in for repair,($35.00 just to look at it)I realize it's out of warranty, but come on,LESS than two hours. I'd like to hope Home Depot would be willing to do something about this since there are obviously issues with this item

I will not pay...Home Depot will stand behind their product. Sheronda has been e-mailed, I know which Home Depot I bought it at, near my 84 year old Father's house in Dallas. Went to his home today to power wash the ramp I built for my Mother 3 years ago so I could stain it tomorrow. I spent two hours getting all "unclogged and cleaned out"thinking it was the issue, then came "surf'n" for the solution when I came across...Lo and behold, THE PROBLEM all along. My Honda engine starts, then instead of the pump generating great pressure it is as if the thing goes in reverse as NO water exits, the engine becomes "strained" and then dies, after it dies the water flows thru again...WEIRD! GET UP, STAND UP !!!
Home Depot send me an replacement pump AND a $50 dollar gift card for my anguish!

Unfortunately I am in the same boat ---- my 3000 PSI Husky Honda is doing the same thing and I have stripper down on my huge project on my deck that I can't wash off with pressure.  Spent $300.00 on this two years ago and have babied it!  Will post if I find a solution.

I got a responce and the service was TERRIBLE.  they basically said i was $h#7 out of luck.  I even called Home Depot and they said if there is no recall they cant help.  I even gave ALL the examples i found online with the issue and resolutions and names of people from home depot that helped...and they told me thst information found on the internet isn't always true.  HOME DEPOT SUCKS!

Same issue with 80715??????? I see we have a good motor on a chassy that needs a no-----huusky replacement pump.  this 80715 (173 cc honda) with a RMW2.2G24 pump. Looking for a better pump that fit this set-up with little or no modification. Will post if I find it.

I purchased a huskey pressure washer model xT6 kohler. I've never gotton it to run long enough to wash the house once! The carburetor was bad from the day I bought it. I couldn't keep it running. I stored it because the pull cord broke on it. The other day I got it out and put a brand new carburetor on it that I ordered from Ace hardware for 33.00 . An hour later the pump quit working! I'm out of patience with this  bum product. dawnseiber@gmail.com.  Just wanted my name added to the list of unhappy buyers. Thank you.
