I had never heard of WC *BUDGET SAVERS MNTH until it showed up as an automatic withdrawel from my account.  As bad timing would have it, I became preoccupied with family illness and subsequent funeral.  When I again found the time and energy to address this problem, I found out it's a company I NEVER heard of and they say I authorized it.  I NEVER authorize automatic withdrawels and I don't even use coupons, why would I request the services of a coupon clipping website?  I am reporting this to our local police for fraud and theft and any other agency I can locate.  I believe this may have been triggered by an internet purchase I made for "Aquabulbs" who, by the way, also ripped me off.
WC *BUDGET SAVERS MNTH broke into my account and stole 19.99 from me for 9 months.

    Thanks for the number...Damn scammers....caught these guys, and the MVQ folks, taking money for services we just didnt sign up for...Totally unfair the way these "companies" go about ripping off the public...

    Do not hesitate to call this number!! I called after finding the charges on my account and had the charges reversed as well as canceling the subscription and taking my name off their call list. Also when you call make sure that you tell them that they are Not authorized to give or sell your information to any third party. The one weird thing about this call was I had given him NO information, he merely answered the phone and asked if he was speaking to and said my first and last name...Kinda scary but obviously with the ease and lack of argument from his end this was indeed a scam.

    same thing has happened to me. I had multiple charges monthly since February 2010 and it is now July 2010! That's 6 months of my not knowing and $149.70 later!!! RIDICULOUS!

    My Amex card was charged and I never authorized this. Actually, I was very specific with the agent that I did not want the service and NOw I have not been able to speak to anyone who can fix this. I am aksed for a memberchip numbefr which I do not have and never received in order to cancel. So this is a real scam. BEware of all callers.

    I found this company on my banking account today for 24.95.  Called them to cancel. They are sending out paperwork for the refund...7-10 business days to get the paper, send back and 6 to 8 weeks later I should get my money refunded.  I was asking who approved this transaction since I never got anything to indicate we had been signed up. She gave my husband's name.  I asked her if he gave them the card number...nope someone I purchased an item from did.  Uhhh okay sure but I know my husband didn't sign up for it.  I told her that we never purchase anything without having more information first and would have requested more information. She said you can not get more information without signing up and asking for it will automatically enroll you.

    Going to the bank in a bit to cancel the card and all that jazz. Also calling States Attorney's office as I'm sorry but If I ask someone to send me more information it does not mean I want this service it means I want more information on it before I decide.

    You were all right about this company.  Fortunately my bank subscribes to a Fraud alert company and they called me about a 1.00 authorization charge from Budget Savers.  Of course I said no way..Cancelled my card, got a new one and within the month, they were still trying to bill my old card.  I will definetly call then on Monday and give them a piece of my mind. I also had purchased an "as seen on TV item".

    I received a $1 charge May 12th and charges of $24.95 on june 12 and July 11.
    Called 800-475-1942. They are closed weekends. They gave me this e-mail address.  programstop.com. So this may be in league with the fraud. My credit card fraud line has the same # and told me to call back on Monday and the card associate and I will talk to the WC Budget Savers. How they got the card number i have no idea. The credit card representative said a store site my have used trail offer or something like that. no idea. Hope I don't have to cancel my credit card.

    Follow up.  I called 800-475-1942 8:30AM EST and was answered in one ring. The lady had my name and told me that I was removed from the program. I then had to ask that all my charges from $! thru the 2 $24.95 be refunded. She agreed and said my card should be credited within 5 days.We'll see.
    The lady had no idea what the company did or how I was signed on. Be polite and warm with customer service they are not the frauds.

    OMG thank you for providing this #. I have been getting withdraws for over 13 months of 24.95 from budget savers and had no idea where it was coming from until I read your post. I cancelled it and they agreed to send me a form so I can get back for all months since I did not give authorization under my own cards name. So lets see how this is going to work. Again thank you so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    thanks for posting that number. Within 4 days this co took 3 dollars out of my account. I told them I didn't want it. The person on the phone was very polite and canceled right away.I did get a conformation # and the persons name. If anybody else has had this happen call the #800 475 1942 right away dollars and up fast.

    I called the 800# in June and the money which was withdrawn from my account was refunded and I canceled Budget Savers but I never even enrolled in this!!!  I received my bank statement today and once again there's 24.95 withdrawn.  So I called again and was P*ssed and apparently going to receive a form to get my money back...shouldn't have to do this because I never enrolled with Budget Savers.
