Our company is call Global Reach Institute, and we have received numerous complaints of people receiving calls with Global Reach Int on their caller ID>  It is not us, we NEVER make unsolicited calls, and don't utilize telemarketing in our organization.  The phone number that is making these calls is not associated with us in any way. Our organization is headquartered in Spokane, Washington, not Los Angeles.    Please understand we have done everything we can think of to make them stop using this caller ID and making unsolicited calls, however have been told by the phone company, etc, that there is nothing they can do.  We are mortified that our good name is being smeared by whomever is making these calls, but please understand that it is NOT Global Reach Institute, just as your identity can be stolen, so can your company ID apparently.  We are a humanitarian/educational travel organization that develops educational/humanitarian international programs to help make the world a better place for everybody.  The calls you are receiving are not from Global Reach Institute (for International Education).

    yes my husband has been getting those calls too but when i pick up they ask to speak to him and when i tell the person this time it happened to be a man that my husband is not home they hang up on me and the number that appeared on my caller id this time was 213-426-2705.. i tried to call the number back cause it pissed me off and i got the operator saying ur call did not go threw please try agin later errrr making me mad!!!!!!!

    They keep calling here for my daughter.  She doesn't live here as she is grad school.  I receive calls at late as 2:30am. They keep calling even though I told them she no longer lives here.  I refused to give out her number and it seems as if they ignore any thing you say.

    Been getting these calls for almost a month.  Add 213-430-4299 to the list to block.

    I've been getting calls from this number 213 430-4299 and its extremely annoying. They have at least ten times in one day and after that twice a day. Its not a working number when I try to call it back. How do I find out where the number is coming from and how to stop it?

    they call me too- the number is 213-426-2705. This is since I went online to find info about stimulus checks and ended up at a site that my virus protection program indicated it was a bad site.

    The # they call me from is 213-430-4297 They have called today 9 times already and it is not even 6pm est. Who do you call and complain too!!

    They called 3 times yesterday and once today. I didn't say anything when I picked up the receiver and waited for them to talk. They asked for my husband and I screamed at the top of my lungs like I was being murdered. You know what the girl said, "I'll call back". Can you believe that mess!!!! Then I called their number back about 2 hours later and the girl that picked up said that she was from Grant Center office regarding government grants. I told her to quit calling my house and she said "Sorry for any inconvenience" and hung up on me. DON'T GET SCAMMED BY THESE PEOPLE. I will also report to FCC as I am on the do not call list, but they are using a huge list of different phone numbers that I saw on another website when I pulled up the "who is calling me" website. I hope this stops soon.

    WOW! I guess I'm not alone. I started getting the calls today, 7 of them within a 4 1/2 hr period. The number also was 213-430-4297

    they call me every 2 hours like clock work they use the phone # 213-426-2761 and i told them if thet didnt stop calling i would file a law suit. know they hang up on me when i answer the phone. i also called the number back one time and they did answer and said that it was a wrong number

    wow - they called 7 times today in a 5 hour period and i wondered who the heck these globalreach jerks were. interesting to note others are being harassed by them as well. My caller id shows 213-430-4297.

    I've received at least 3 hang-up calls a day from them.  The number they call from is always 213-430-4297.  I've answered now twice, asking that they take my name off their list.  They say they have "free" government grant money to give away.  When I asked how much it costs to get the "free" money, they avoid the question.  Tonight I answered and told them in no uncertain terms to stop calling me!

    Back with some info to add.  The number they use with me is a land line, in Los Angeles, and it is an unlisted number (you have to pay to get the details).  I'm very sorry for any legitimate organization that is being blamed for this.

    You take a copy of your phone record to the local police station and file a harassment complaint.  You can also contact the FCC and tell them you wish to press charges which should result in something like 5000.00 fine per call.
    You have to do some work too. ;)

    i receive at least 6-7 calls from 213-228-8114 they been been hanging up every time i answer starting 2 weeks ago. when i answered they asked for me, i played it off like i was someone else and asked if they wanted to leave a message. they said no no message and hung up. about 2 hours later they call again my mom answers told them to stop calling that she knew it was a scam the guy said no it isnt i want to help your daughter lose weight. she was like "dont call back here again" the man was like " i will, i am going to keep calling"

    This is just not funny-----
    It appears I am not the only person receiving these repeated, pesky phone calls. Earlier this week I requested the number be removed from their list - I was asked if my name was Laticia (either Richmond or Redmond, don't recall which at this point) and that the call was in response to my request for government grant information. I advised that I am not, never have been. I was assured my number would be removed.

    Are we all laughing yet? You know that didn't happen.

    Well, today is Saturday and alrady six times I have received calls from this same number. Most of the time I will answer but their machine cuts off the call. Well, I called back and FINALLY got through to again request the number be removed. A lovely person named Grace hung up on me when I asked for the mailing address so I could submit a written request to have my number excluded.

    After the next incoming call that disconnected I called back again -- took about 20 tries to get through, but this time I was connected with a guy whose name escapes me. I asked for the mailing address and was asked why. I told him so he rattled off 301 W Broadway, New York, NY 11401 and that the company name is JRS. I asked why the phone number had a Los Angeles area code if they were in New York. The response was that it's just one of the call centers their calls are routed through (what a line!!!!). Curious, I went to reverse lookup and guess what!!!!!!! No entity by that name, in fact, appears to be a residential building. Even better, there is NO SUCH zip code. Now, I would have thought I heard it wrong, but I repeated the entire address back to this guy. I also asked how long it takes for the voices to stop after requesting, he said he was processing the block immediately and I would receive no more calls ---- that was 3 calls ago.

    I really hope you are able to catch these people and prosecute them so they will be punished in such a way as to never want to try playing this little game again!

    it sucks, I get calls from them when im at work, school, home, and whenever they feel like it. I will hurt them very very badly if I find them!

    I have been getting there calls from the same number I just called them at 10:45 pm and someone actually answered and I told them to stop calling me they repeatedly over and over for the past 3 weeks I finally got sick of it hopefully it works will let you know if it does
