Our company is call Global Reach Institute, and we have received numerous complaints of people receiving calls with Global Reach Int on their caller ID>  It is not us, we NEVER make unsolicited calls, and don't utilize telemarketing in our organization.  The phone number that is making these calls is not associated with us in any way. Our organization is headquartered in Spokane, Washington, not Los Angeles.    Please understand we have done everything we can think of to make them stop using this caller ID and making unsolicited calls, however have been told by the phone company, etc, that there is nothing they can do.  We are mortified that our good name is being smeared by whomever is making these calls, but please understand that it is NOT Global Reach Institute, just as your identity can be stolen, so can your company ID apparently.  We are a humanitarian/educational travel organization that develops educational/humanitarian international programs to help make the world a better place for everybody.  The calls you are receiving are not from Global Reach Institute (for International Education).

    Follow up...all i had to was stay on this site a little longer...It is the same # every time...213-228-8111. I haven't answered the phone but I will follow all the suggestions. I can't imagine where they got my info. I have limited interests online that don't require my info. I am on th do not call list...seems like i'll have to check that out

    www.globalreachinternational.org is a valid nonprofit and not associated with the scamming hang up annoying calls.

    This morning they called about a federal grant that didn't have to be paid back. My husband fell for it and gave them his credit card number along with the three numbers on the back. They said $1.00 would be charged to it. Now I am worried sick and am panicking. Can anyone tell me what I can do quickly?

    I am getting calls every 10 minutes, starting as early as 7:30 EST.  But the number my calls are coming from is 213 228 8111. They never leave a message and they call constantly for hours!!!!  I have not answered the calls but I've been trying to inquire on how to stop them.  I googled the company and found all of these complaints online, so I guess I'm not the only one receiving these calls.

    I,too, have been receiving 10-12 calls every day for quite a while.  Yesterday, I received no calls and today I received no calls.  Has something happened to stop all this craziness?

    I've been getting calls from these guys since 8 AM or so today. I've answered once and they want to talk to my fiancee, I told the lady on the line she wasn't here, which of course she was, and she hung up. I'm getting ready to join the DNCL, but does it apply to these scumbags? And does killthecalls.com's info about pursuing monetary damages against telemarketers apply?

    Got three more calls since the last posting, one was a once ring hang up, the other no message and the last I answered. Different women this time. Next time I'm just going to tell them to stop calling or I'm contacting the FBI.

    And another. This time a man by the name of Bernard. When I asked what i was in reference to, he said it was an online form for weight loss stuff. I told him she wasn't here, and he let me know they'd call back. I'd like to tell them off, but I'd much rather do it when I know if there's anything at all that can be done.

    Guess what? I got another. Asked for my fiancee, flat out told the woman no. She said "Ok." and hung up. I'm going nuts!

    OMG YOUVE GOTTA BE KIDDING ME! THEY CALLED AGAIN! I finally just said, take me off your list, don't call anymore. If it happens again I'm calling the FCC, FBI and my local phone company. If I need to, I've got no problem contacting Homeland Security too.

    Looks like I am on this list - The message that was left was from a recording.  The caller ID did note that it is "Global Reach Int", the recording indicates that they are Lexington Law firm; looks like they have a number of locations throughout the U.S.A. and is a credit repair company.  Interesting in that I have never worked with them or submitted anything to them.  I placed our number on the do not call registry as well as submitted the FCC complaint against the number.

    I have been getting called all day long every day for about 2 weeks straight now. They call me about 7 or 8 times a day, most of the time I just ignore it, but when I do answer it's just silence on the other end. It is driving me crazy. But I cannot unplug the phone because i need it for my at home business. What am I supposed to do about this? Is this not some kind of harassment?

    I have been getting calls from these people and no one would speak. it does not matter what time still no answer. thursday i answered the phone and asked the man on the phone if you are the government why does it come up global reach not government and he said do not use the web site again. he hung up quickly.

    I've been getting calls for the last few days, but the phone # is
    different.  The number is 213/426-2760, & they call every night between 8:30 - 9:00 p.m. never leaving a message.

    my daughter is getting calls all times of the day. i'm retired and dont need to be woken up at 8 am.  the number is 213-426-2760.

    Anybody know the address of whoever is responsible for these calls? If they're in Vegas, I would love nothing more than to do everything within my realm to make their life a living hell.
