Same problem here-- and been going on for months.  Appreciate the posts and advice.  It seems that we are at a dead end.  At least until Senator Chuck Schumer gets a call!  He's the type of politician who will take it personally and root them out!

Now, what I don't understand is why do they keep calling the same number if they're not getting anywhere.  It seems terribly inefficient!  I.E., the scam has failed, why keep trying it with the same people?!!

Yeah, we get calls from "Rachel at Card Member Services" at least once a week. I've waited to speak to a live person and when I ask to be removed from their call list, they hang up on me. I've pushed the button it says to "discontinue calls" and continue to get them. It's always from different numbers but it's clearly the same company. We are on the Do Not Call registry and obviously that makes no difference. I don't know why the FTC exists if it can't stop this problem that is happening all over the country from what is OBVIOUSLY one company. Can this company really be impossible to find? That seems ridiculous. I don't mind paying taxes, but I sure as heck resent paying them for "services" that the FTC can't provide. What a waste.

I,too, have been receiving calls from Credit Card Services,  the blogs above are helpful.  2 cals a day are not unusual and have not been able to get the number as there are 20 numbers that come up before an "800 number and have had Rachael o others come on line3 after hitting 1.   I prestended to be an Alzheimers person after getting on line and telling them my wife took care of those problems because I was not allowed.  I asked for their number and told me it was a time limited offer and they hung up on me both times.  See that the AG and FTC have been allerted. I am on the DNC list.  Visa told me it was a scam and they could not do anything about it, even though they said they represented visa and mastercard..  Do not understand why they can not be located and fined.

It does no good to request the person that calls from Credit Card Services to take you off their list, even when they take your numbers and say they will.  They continue to come several a day even to my cell phone which costs me for their call.  This is also against Federal Law.   Only the Federal Government can stop this but for some reason (maybe getting paid off?) they will not despite repeated complaints and reports to their Do Not Call number.   We pay for a Federal Agency to stop this and they do nothing!  Your President who is responsible for this agency needs to read these complaints and take action to put the public interest ahead of the special interests, but that will not happen as long as interests of large Campaign contributors take precedent over the public's interests.....it is all about money!

    tired of this.
616-613-2227 is the number I get on caller I.D. but they just use phone number mask , any one can do using the internet. These people are scammers! ask any question that can be verified and they hang up. they want your Soc. Sec. number to rip you off! I also think G mail sells them your numbers because I never give out my cell number but did so for gmail once for security reasons . and now c. c. s. has my cell number . thanks a lot g mail. Oh and thanks for waking up my kid from his nap . Idiots.

Yesterday received two calls and again when I even begin to request to be taken off the list they hang up on me. Just received another call and got some guy by the name of Tim and tried to explain the previous hang ups and if they continue to call then I would notify the States Attorneys office. He went off on me which I suspect was phony. Was I trying to get him fired, then went on to try and drown me out by making loud, repetitive noises in the phone all the while asking me if is was threatening him. I heard other background noises like other people making calls too. It ended with him calling me a [***] several times before I could hang up. Next time I will tell them to hold on while I can get someone in the house to go over this with and I will put the phone down and leave it there until the creep hangs up. That is until I can find a whistle.

This company calls me several times a day. They are now calling under different business names, such as McDonald's. Today the phone rang and it showed my personal phone number! I don't understand if there has been all of these complaints why the PUC (Public Utilities Commission) hasn't taken action against them and put them out of business! The first time they called offering me a lower interest rate for my cr. card. I asked which card they were calling about and they said we can lower interest on all of your cards. I hung up and called my cr card company to see if this really had anything to do them. They said they would never call to discuss lowering interest rates and that I was being scammed. Since that first call I still get several call a week, sometimes several a day. I wish the government would step in and fine the hell out of them, make it so high that it puts them out of business!

Just got a call from the so called credit card companies.  I just turned my scanner squelch up full volume and screamed that someone was trying to kill me so they could hear it on their end.  When they hung up I called the number back, which by the way was a local Verizon cell phone number, and some poor guy answered and didn't know anything about it.  I told them that they were using his number to call.  Now they are using local numbers that come up in the caller ID.  What in the world can we do to stop these idiots?

They ARE NOT licensed, or surety bonded in all the other States they illegally robocall.
