unsolicited delivery of instaflex
Complaint

Country: United States
I recently took advantage of the Instaflex Free Trial Offer, and received the sample for which I am grateful. However, today, I received an unsolicited package containing 90 capsules of Instaflex. I did not order this, snd suspect that it is a marketing scam for which I may be charged on my credit card. If so, kindly cancel what appears to be a unilateral insertion, by you, of my name in the Instaflex program; and further, cancel any charges you may have placed against my credit card, and cease and desist from any future actions. Absent your explanation, I intend to exert every effort to notify appropriate Federal authorities of your business practices. John T. Shepherd, Attorney at Law.

They appear to be running a typical "health product" cramming scam, getting consumer account information through a "free trial offer", then cramming repeated shipments and charges.
Such scams often evade attempts to cancel, just as they often hide the "automatic shipment" terms they claim authorized them to repeatedly charge you. Although the products typically cost little, they are generally set up to make their money on the crammed overpriced charges, since it may take many people several months to figure out how to stop the charges they weren't expecting.
Your best protection is to file a fraud dispute with your bank and block your card number to prevent additional fraudulent charges. Follow up with a written fraud dispute or fraud affidavit sent to your bank's dispute address.
You may also wish to file complaints with FTC, your state Attorney General, and at www.ic3.gov

No more charges to my account also. This is obviously a scam!!
Dispute fraudulent charges immediately through your bank, under FRB Reg. E for disputing checking account charges via EFT, ACH, or debit card, or under FCBA for credit card disputes, and close your account due to fraud to prevent additional fraudulent charges. Your bank can reverse fraudulent charges showing on statements dated up to 60 days earlier than your original date of dispute.
Follow up to your bank dispute with a written dispute or fraud affidavit sent to your bank's dispute address, and file a fraud and theft complaint with your local police, FTC, your state Attorney General, and at www.ic3.gov.
Scammers will generally try to delay you with promises to "investigate", lies about how "you agreed", promises to send a "refund form", and other tactics designed to delay you past the 60 day dispute period where your bank can recover your money. That is why you MUST dispute unauthorized charges immediately through your bank.
