This company at 845-770-0061 keeps calling my cell requesting to verify my name and my address. I asked who they are and why do they want my address. They tell me they want to send a business proposal to me, yet they refuse to give me the name of their company. I looked up the reverse phone number and found the name Paetec Communication in Nyack,New York. I contacted their parent office at 845-675-4485 and STILL nothing has been resolved. I am also on the do not call list and their reply was it does NOT affect us!!! These calls are annoying and upsetting. I told them I am NOT interested and to remove my number at once. I have ALL the phone records on my cell and would appreciate a stop to this harrassment.

    ACE cash express will not stop calling my home I have told them the person they are looking for does not live at this address. For more than three weeks they have called every day leaving messages. I called back and asked to talk to a manager I was told the pearon is related to me there for they have a right and hung up on me I called back they hung up. I called back again I asked for a manger was not given a manager. And was told she will not call me.

      I used to be a debt collector, they do not have the right to call you!! If you continue to get calls, file a complaint with the FTC, Atty. General Office. They will get fined big time. You can sue them personally and get money. Better yet, send a cease and desist letter to stop calling you. Send it return receipt and if they refuse, that also is leverage. Once you tell them to stop calling,  they have to stop calling.

        Thanks for the info.  I finally spoke to someone and told him I am on the "do not call list".  He said I understand.  I'll keep track if they continue to call and take further action.

    Thanks for your post.  I had a voicemail from  that phone number saying my contest entry for a car was drawn.
    Since I don't usually enter contests of any sort, I was leary.  I did try calling back to the number given (which was a toll free # 866 312-9553  and was forced to leave a message.  What I didn't like was the voice message was a name different from the name I was given)  Figure it's some kind of scam.

    These SPAM [***] are like piss ants, multiple phone numbers are from all over and worry the hell out of you !!! My problem # was 2674640222 & often 8669326805!! The co. name appears to be PAETEC COMM.,INC. OUT OF Penn..Anyone have a GOOD ant poison ??

    I just received a call from a different number on my cell phone. When I listen to my messages they say they are from Paetec Communications. I reversed the number they left on my voicemail, and the number the person they gave me was 321-418-7996. The company address they gave me was based out of Orlando FL. I am on the do not call list especially for solicitors. English is not their first language.. Just annoying.. UGH!!

      I received several calls from them based out of Mansfield MA....They never leave a mssg. They start calling very early in the morning though and continue all day!

    I keep getting calls from 703-953-2964--several a week, at least one a day.

    No one answers and when I call that number no one answers.  Reverse look up states that they are paetec communications with an address of Orchard Grass Terrace Apt 40 in Ashburn VA.

    How do you get these clowns to quit calling.

      You can block their phone number. Quite a few phone manufacturers have put a 'block caller' feature on their phones. Additionally, I know some carriers such as Verizon also has a simple way to block problematic callers. You can block the numbers you want yourself very quickly without needing to be a whiz at all. It's very simple to do. Blocking these unwanted pests has worked for me when there have been callers that won't stop. Block callers get a busy signal, usually frustrating them enough to the point they move on to someone who hasn't blocked them.

        Thanks for the tip about blocking calls.

        I am a Verizon customer, and it took me about 10 seconds to find the "block calls" item on my phone menu, another 30 seconds to key in the 661-476-3032 number (from Yosemite??????) and we shall now see if that works.

    I have been getting a call every single day from this DAM Paetec Communications talking about some product. I hate this. Question are they allowed to be calling my cell phone? Its so frustrating. I call back and I start talk to this lady and I ask her to take me off the list and right away she hangs up. I call back and before anyone answers they hang up. So MAD!

      Izzy, I wouldn't call them back, period. Also, they call my landline which doesn't have a block feature, I wish landline phones had that as most cell phones do

        I once received a call from the same company asking for a person called Merrell Linch.   I closed my ML account about 15 years ago, but they were looking for a man called Merrell Linch because he owed debt...  These people are stupid.   Also NEVER say the word yes to ANYTHING they ask.  they will edit it out and try to use that "yes" as a voice verification for what ever scam they are running.  Never say the word yes.
