This company at 845-770-0061 keeps calling my cell requesting to verify my name and my address. I asked who they are and why do they want my address. They tell me they want to send a business proposal to me, yet they refuse to give me the name of their company. I looked up the reverse phone number and found the name Paetec Communication in Nyack,New York. I contacted their parent office at 845-675-4485 and STILL nothing has been resolved. I am also on the do not call list and their reply was it does NOT affect us!!! These calls are annoying and upsetting. I told them I am NOT interested and to remove my number at once. I have ALL the phone records on my cell and would appreciate a stop to this harrassment.

    PAETEC COMMUNICATION was identified as a 412-894-6785 calle 9 times between 4-5 am frustrated but will deal with it!

      this number 412-204-3392 is also a scammer. they said I owe a debt but refuse to send or fax me a copy of the record. I also called the social security office. please be aware of this company PAEREC COMMUNICATIONS! THEY ARE SCAMMERS AND LIARS

    PAETEC COMMUNICATIONS, INC. nj or 201-639-0155 keeps leaving messages asking about a house that I have for sale and if it is still available. They leave a 1888-4006123-number with an ext. This already has red flags all over it.

      Excellent observation, God forbid, should they get your house info they could avail themselves to all sorts of things without your knowledge. Folks, please don't engage in any type of conversation with any of these callers, if there is a legal business pending, whatever it is, am sure it will be sent to you by mail, and you can handle it from there after confirming that is the real deal from legal authorities.

      Am sure that the number doesn't matter because thy can use whatever numbers are available. calls here were from 6463511082

    Add 607-330-7680 to the list as well. Received several calls from that number today alone, and one of them was before 6am. They didn't leave a message, but I looked up the phone number and it was listed as Paetec Communications out of Ithaca, NY. I don't know anyone from that part of NY, so I'm certainly not answering the phone.

    Just got my first call from 954-245-3143 in Ft. Lauderdale.  I answered, said "hello" a couple times, no one answered, and then the hung up on me.

      Got another call about 5 hours later.  guy didn't sound like he knew how to speak english.  i said that he had the wrong number and his accent changed a little bit, and he hung up on me.

    It seems this Paetec Communications has changed tactics.  Be aware. They are now texting. Sent a message about an "alert" related to my account.  Said was from FCU but reverse phone number shows Paetec in NY.

    when the 2nd call came in i told them they had the wrong #.  that # has stopped calling me, but now i'm getting calls from 678-514-2548 based out of Atlanta.  They called 4 times yesterday and only once so far today, but the 1 time they have called so far today is excatly the same as the 1st time they called yesterday.  9:19 am.  I also got calls yesterday at 1:31 PM, 5:39 PM, and 8:49 PM.  Waiting to see if they call again at 1:31 PM.  if so, it's definately an automated system.

    I have been receiving calls to my cell phone every day for a week and a half around 2-2:30 pm when I'm at work, so I havent gotten a chance to answer and hear the BS these guys are spewing, but I did the reverse lookup on the number, (585) 391-7425 and its out of Brockport, NY and it says its Paetec. The one time I tried to call the number back, I got an answering maching saying "this office is currently closed, please try again later", without even stating what the business was. I dont know if it will deter them at all, but you might want to inform the ones that are saying that they are law enforcement going to put out a warrant, that its a highly illegal to impersonate an officer of the law, punishable by jail time.

    I've been getting calls on my CELL also, and since I'm looking for s job it is making me nuts! If I want to go to school I will and them calling me every day 5 times a day would just make me not want to go there out of spite. I find it funny that thry have a compaint page at all! Think they would listen to the public.

      1st time on dec.15 2012 got call from 647-495-8885 I only spoke french to them asking (parlez-vous français) repeating the same thing for 10 seconds they hung up.

      2nd call from 561-869-4408 dec.19 2012 and it was from the same guy cause I recognized his voice. All I said was ello, ello, who there, who there, who there using a very stupid and funny voice the guy hug up.

      I don't get mad I just play stupid. Maybe they wont call back. The more time you spend with them on the phone the less amount of people they have time to call.

      Next call I will tell them that someone is at the door, I will ask him to wait for me and I will never take the call back letting him dry out waiting for me.
