This company at 845-770-0061 keeps calling my cell requesting to verify my name and my address. I asked who they are and why do they want my address. They tell me they want to send a business proposal to me, yet they refuse to give me the name of their company. I looked up the reverse phone number and found the name Paetec Communication in Nyack,New York. I contacted their parent office at 845-675-4485 and STILL nothing has been resolved. I am also on the do not call list and their reply was it does NOT affect us!!! These calls are annoying and upsetting. I told them I am NOT interested and to remove my number at once. I have ALL the phone records on my cell and would appreciate a stop to this harrassment.

    Have been getting calls from 732 510-5497/Paetec Communications in Woodbridge and New Brunswick, NJ.  Was advised to block number via my phone provider and file complaint with local police.

    Every day for the last two weeks or so I have been getting a call from 213-226-0236 .
    My telephone ID says " LSAN DA 01 CA
    The area code is Los Angeles and when I reverse search the number it is listed as with Paetec Comm.
    but that's as far as I get .
    There is never a message left , and I am wary of answering or calling back since I have no clue as to what they want .

    One of the numbers, 855-842-2888, is listed under Paetec Communications. I'm on to all their B.S. games. First it was a computer virus, then it was the Better Business Bureau with a complaint, and then then asked for a business that's not here (this is a home). They are trying to scam me so I have no reason to be polite. They got an earful when I told them they were "effing" liars and that they should take their phone and stick it sideways. I tell them I know their call is a scam and they are not to call back. They don't know who they are dealing with when they call me because I have the intelligence to take them down.

    If they are contacting you on a smart phone, find a number blocking app. I'm on the Android system and I use Mr. Number. It works real well... end of problem. Oh... BTW... Paetec was calling me too... now they're on the list of blocked numbers.... problem solved.

    I have been getting calls at 4:45a.m. for several months telling me to get up and go to school.  Education  is very important.  As I am long past school age, I have attempted to have them stopped both by my phone company and by pressing the number on my phone as they have told me to do if I did not request these calls.  No success,  It is very jarring and disturbing to be awakened by these calls.  Any suggestions on stopping these calls other than getting an attorney involved and sueing?

    i also have received a phone call from paetic on my cell phone. i did a reverse check on them and it came up as a commuications company in malden,ma. when i called the number back it was stated the number was disconnected

    We keep getting this call and when we ask what it is in regards to they tell us they can not disclose the info, they are asking for my son,  I have told them that he does not respond to people who do not call and leave the info, after reading all this it is interesting,  they stated under FEDERAL REGULATION they can not tell me, they claim the are CONSERV, at 8666337945 and that number or company is not on the interent at all, can not find them when I do the reverse number on the caller id it comes up with this company and the number on caller id is 585-598-6187  now that I have read this they are going to get told if they need to contact him they can do it in writing, since they have this number they must have the address.  and if they call again I will file harrasement charges on them

    I keep getting calls from from phone no. 404-410-2396 so I reversed it an it comes back to you guessed it Paetec but out of Georgia. So I just told them to bite me.

    Just received a call from 603-782-2299...yeppers!  PAETEC Communications, Inc. out of Manchester, NH  If you don't take the call, there's no message.  So I expect another call from them...I'm looking forward to it!!!

    724-503-1440 Paetec Washington pa. I told them I was filing a complaint with the police  they told me good luck with that. So I handed my phone to my brother who is a police detective . And when he state who he was and that the call was being traced they hung up on him imagine that.

    I returned home today and found a message on my answering machine that said they were from internal Revenue Service. I tried to get information by reversing the phone number and all I could get was the name of the communication service Paetec.
    The number that called was from Buffalo, NY phone # 716-249-2221. I could not understand the person real well, but I got his name by playing back the message several times. He said it was Officer Eric Foster and to call him and if he did not hear from me or my attorney all he could say was good luck.  I have tried to find out more information without actually calling the number, but to get the name I would have to pay. I have gotten so many telemarketing calls lately that I don't even want to answer the phone anymore. I didn't the last one. I feel that this one from NY is kind of different and felt threatened, so I reported it to the FTC. I am also on the do not call list and I am going to start reporting these calls.

      IRS isn't going to call  you out of the blue, and make threats by phone on your answering machine.

      Contact Paetec directly to report use of their phone system in a fraudulent shakedown impersonating the federal government.  They can shut off the account, which at least wastes some scammer time while they set up another.

    A NUMBER 951-666-4158, THE LAST FOUR NUMBER ALWAYS CHANGE, CALL EVERYDAY FRO THE LAST 5-6 MONTHS SAYING IT URGENT POSSIBLE LEGAL ACTION BLAH BLAH BLAH, JUST YESTURDAY THEY CALLED MY GIRLFRIEND AT HER WORK AT A SCHOOL REALLY, SCUMMMM, "KEN BOWERS"

    I looked up the # 562 361-8405, a landline owned by Paetec Communications in Compton CA. Person said his name was Kevin Green from the US Dept of Treasury and that I owed $4000 taxes from 2009 and that I did not file taxes! He got angry when I asked questions. He said there was a warrant for my arrest! Then he hung up.
