Fraudulent Charges

I ordered the Diamond Z4 ring for $20 and $6.99 s&h.  It has been about a month and I still have not received the ring.  Over the last two weeks, I have received two calls from their sales people to send me free earrings and a necklace for a 14 day free trial. If I chose to keep the necklace, I would be charged $53.96. I was not interested and told them so before they could even finish their speech.  I was charged TWICE for $53.96 on the same day!  I called my credit card company and told them the charges were fraudulent and they removed the charges. It's amazing to me that they think they can get away with ripping people off. This company is BOGUS!!!

The commercial says its a diamond says nothing and i mean nothing about it being CZ so if theyre not a fraud as it looks they are then it will be a diamond

Im laughing my butt off that some people really dont get that the ring is fake.

Really?    Are you [***]?   Everybody knows that there not buying a flipping 4 carat diamond ring!  They know it's a cubic zirconia.  In the infomercial they call it a diamond z.   Diamond z diamond z.   Which is just the name of the ring.  Their not trying to fool anybody into thinking its a real diamond.   But thanks for letting everybody know how smart you are...   [***]...

They clearly state that it is a CZ not a diamond. Anyone that even thinks they may get a diamond for $20 is not too bright.
What they don't tell you is that you are getting scammed out of your $20 plus whatever else they can get you for.

If you really think that you are buying a DIAMOND ring for $20, YOU need your head examined. I am pretty sure "most" of the people hear are aware they are not getting a "real" diamond, instead it is a cubic or apparently something new new called the "z" diamond. Which again could be yet, another abbreviation for the cubic zirconia diamond.

Umm, I just watched the commercial, and decided to check reviews, glad I didnt order btw, but all these people posting about it being a "real" diamond, they state it plainly in the ad that it IS a CZ!! Just watched it! It was even written in large letters at the top of the screen, CZ! Don't think anyone should be confused whether or not it is real. No half-brained individual would believe they could buy ANY size diamond for $20!

There was an article published 30 or so years ago about DeBeers control of the diamond market that said that in a "few" years diamonds would be cheaper than a dozen roses.  That DeBeers was going to lose control.  60 Minutes did a report on the TONS and TONS of diamonds being hoarded by DeBeers and the hundreds of TONS of diamonds held in vaults in Russia.

Diamonds are not rare, and if DeBeers ever loses control, you can buy the 2 carat "investment" stone for very little - say $60 to $100.  Today that stone sells for over $80,000.

And the CZs are getting better and better, and if it weren't for their being flawless, jewelers would have a hard time telling them from real.  They are approaching the hardness of diamonds.

There are stores which sell very high quality CZs with real gold and white gold settings.  There was one in the Dallas area - Diamontrigue, I think was the name.  Great stuff in great settings but slightly more than $20.  I can't believe anyone believed they were buying a real diamond, even a chip for $20.

I wouldn't worry too much. Telebrand is in Fairfield New Jersey. Almost every infomercial you see selling something is marketed buy them. I have ordered stuff before and stuff works fine never have ordered the ring but I have thought about it. They've been around for a lot of years.

      Picki,
Ppl who write negative reviews don't have a motive for doing so, so if there are a ton of them, then it really is best to just walk away.  There is only one reason why a message board like this would have so many bad reviews telling similar stories...they're true.  Please, don't waste your money and possibly your credit or bank account this scam!  And if you absolutely MUST have it and want to gamble about $30 on it (since the commercial says the ring itself is $20 and the shipping is $10), please do yourself a favor and put only the exact amount on a prepaid credit card so that they can't charge you any more than that or charge you for other things you didn't authorize.  You may lose that $30 if you choose to gamble it that way, and I don't suggest it, but if you want to gamble with it, please be smart about it and do it that way.

To all about Drews comment, if he really was a customer, he would have given an exact day he received the ring, not a 7-10 day status. Funny how only 3 people say they recieved the ring. I'm glad I read the complaints. I thought maybe it was too good to be true. I guess that's why I haven't seen a comercial for the ring in the last week.
