I want a refund of 29.99 back into my account

Supposedly I had a postcard I called on. They claimed I would be sent a package to read over and try out. I read over and I did not like it, I did not go on line.  I tried calling several times within the period and I could not get thru until today. A person named Lynne called me and went thru a speel that was never given to me and said she would cancel my order and she said no refunds. Well, I am now finding out this was a scam, once again and I would like to have my money refunded back to my account. That is all I want from this company. I am not in business or have any intentions of doing business.  Please refund my money

I read you can call fha  and hud  directly and get their  list  for 20.00.  Could be a scam but every at home job is a scam. I think I will try it for 15  days  put alot of work into it and see what happens. I am doing my zip only and will set up meetings with people tell them who I am do all the foot work for them and show them I am not a  scam. Worse  thing they'll say is no.  But I do know this type of work is legal it  is almost like being a tax preparation  person.

Just went into Better Business Bureau and as mentioned before they gave this business an F and said it was not accredited.  This is enough for me - I am requesting my money back.

Are you kidding me?  BBB is a joke!  I called them up to see what they could do for me and my biz... they told me I would have to pay them for the "protection" they provide.  I said stuff it and I am still making money!

BBB  is also a scam. They want me  to pay 395.00  to them for them to give me an A+  and when I fused they gave me a C-  rating and I  hadn't even started doing anything with my business. So I believe nothing that web site says!!

I can tell by reading these posts, most of these people have idea of what it takes to start a small business.  First of all, 80 percent of all businesses fail in the first year.  Second, if Smart Tools was a scam, they would have been put out of business and prosecuted years ago.  Let's use our critical thinking skills here.  What are some of the the facts?  They sell Governemnt(HUD/FHA)data. They offer Customer Service where you can actually speak with live operators.  They even give a free trial so you can try it before you buy it!  Obviously they are legit.  The fact is, it's dog eat dog out there and if you are going to blame others for your failures then you will never succeed.  Take this from "seasoned" player in this game.  You have to be able to spot opportunity and act on it.  I know I did!  Thank you Smart Tools, I can proudly add you to the list of businesses I enjoy working!

Contact your bank and tell them you want to cancel the transaction because the company did not deliver as expected and/or they were unreachable to return your money. The bank will return the money into your account within a day and file a complaint with the company. The company probably won't rebut and you'll get your money back.

I too got the pink card in the mail. Go to hud.gov for the truth. Better yet let me copy and paste this for you from their site:   Consumer Alert
    Read all FHA Refund Alerts!

Beware of "tracers" who offer to help you collect your refund for a fee. Although this practice is not illegal, you can get your refund directly from FHA for free. If

you feel that you've been misled or in some way harmed by a tracer; or
you've been contacted by someone asking you to become a tracer, who you believe misled or harmed you...

Let us know we'll check it out.

So please consider this warning if you venture into this. Also think of this. Smart Tools says to send out 100 letters which equals $50. Out of 100 people you will get 2 people who reply to you....really worth it? Then if you do get someone HUD sends them a check. It takes 30-35 days for that to happen. Then you get paid. 15 day trial doesn't give you enough time since it takes 30 plus days to get paid if you are lucky!
I am not saying it doesn't work but if you are like me in economic trouble do you have the extra money to do this? and if people can do this for free why would they want to pay you 200, 400, or 800 dollars from their say 1,000 dollar check? It's us little people that suffer from companies who take advantage of us.
I say save your money for something better....
