I keep getting phone calls from TRS Recovery saying that they need to resove a debt matter before 10-05-07 for an Alan Baker. They have the wrong person. I am not Alan Baker and they call my house 2 or 3 times a day, when I answer the phone its a recording. How do I get the phone calls to stop?

    Today I received 4 letters from TRS, two of which had a strangers name on it with my address. They stated I owed them money for dishonored electronic fund transfers. This is interesting since I do not have a checking account.

    When I tried to call and find out more information,I went through several phone numbers and then found out the office was closed. I went online to the address given to fill out a form for suspected fraud and to request a copy of the documents and ended up nowhere. Do they make it difficult on purpose?

    Eventually I called the police and when they came they told me to talk to the company listed which was SAMs and locate a copy of the check. Once I had that, then a report could be filed and they could view the video at the store to see who might have done the transaction.

    I called SAMs and after two very nice ladies talked to me, all I got was "Call TRS for a copy of the check." Frustration at this point is an understatement. So here I am, starting all over again and getting nowhere. Why is it so difficult to find out information about what these companies already presume is your fault.It makes for an intolerably difficult situation to solve.

    Trs recovery reps are very unprofessional. I know u may owe a debt but they call from unknown numbers all day long it's as if they are harassing u! I think this company is very unprofessional.

    I am disputing unauthorized work on my car and charges for same with a local tire and auto repair franchise. The dispute is pending in the office of the attorney general of Pennsylvanis's consumer complaint section. A Ms. Williams called here last week representing she was employed by a TRS collection division, asking for circumstances of my stop payment order to my bank. Yesterday TRS sent a demand notice for the amount of the stop payment plus $30 for their charges. TRS has violated privacy and Do Not Call laws.

    I keep getting a call from a ATT number. They harrass me at work. I call back, don't return my calls.  I am reporting this company to BBI etc.  1-855-868-2577 & 1-816-531-111 & 1-855-238-4063.

    This company TRS is killing people.TRS send letters to people saying that we owe money to them, but when i check up on them and my account its all good. I really dont know what this company is trying to do. Please have someone ckeck into this company {TRS RECOVERY SERVICE }

    I get daily calls from this company and don't know why and can't even seem to find out.....for one thing the last number of that irritating message was cut off....when I figured it out.....still no info

    Well, finally got a person to speak to after a searches of the internet etc
    TRS (Tele-Check)is part of First Data whose offices are in Atlanta.....the phone numbers are 1-303-967-8000..........1-800-735-3362
    I called the 800 number and after a little wait was able to speak to an actual human who is going to send me the appropriate paperwork to fill out and fax or send back
    Sure hope this helps us all.....
    I'm sure tired of that voice on the message:)

    BBI is not that reputable itself.....try calling 1-800-735-3362  it is the "mother"company and speak to them directly
    Hope that stops the harassment!!!

      the 800#  that is suppose to be the "mother" company is no longer in service or has been disconnected.  I was given the 800-366-1049 number and waited for over 1/2 an hour on the line, they sure could call and harass but I am finding it impossible to clear my name...I go through the Walmart Store and they just give me the above number...like hello, you can call us but we can't call you....I guess for honest people they don't want our money.

    We are a business in Az and have been getting calls from TRS daily 2-3 times a day for an employee who has not worked for our company for over 10 yrs.I have not been sucessful in speaking with a human at all.This is on the fine line to harassment.
      Does anyone know a number that i can speak with someone human to get these calls to stop?

    I am plagued by the same inaccurate information and phone calls from TRS. I cannot seem to get any relief. The reps never have a supervisor on duty, they are rude and indignant when they call and the calls come from an unknown number. This company is in violation of the very laws that allow them to call in the first place. I should not have to spend my hard earned money for legal counsel to take them to court.  This company is, without a doubt, digging a deep hole to bury themselves in. I cannot withstand the stress of receiving these calls and if I continue to be traumatized by the phone calls, I and my family will be super rich and the new owners of TRS.

    Hmmm... executing a judgment is done through the courts.  So maybe you had it coming?

    they will bleed you dry. if you owe 5 bucks they will take 500 and no less

    My problem is a bit different. I wrote a check to Home Depot and it was electronically scanned. The company that handles the scanning for them is TeleCheck. Apparently I was overdrawn, (my bad) and TeleCheck forwarded my account to TRS Recovery. I got a letter in the mail from them explaining it was an attempt to collect a debt. I called every number I could on the letterand never was able to get a human. Needless to say these [***] hit my cheching account 4 more times. The 4th time was today when I thought I was buying groceries with what little money I had in my account. Someone got the $44.00 that was insufficient and I went home empty handed. It cost me $75.00 in overdraft charges and I STILL can't get anyone to talk to me.
    TRS Recovery is also, along with TeleCheck, a family af business' under a company called First Data. Here's their info:

    I, to, am getting harassing calls from TRS!! They say they are calling for a Christina Leddingham. I don't know this person & don't want to know her!! I've told them repeatedly that I don't know her, & they have the wrong phone number. However, they insist on continuing to call here! Now, they just call with a recording so I can't respond to them! Sheesh!! I WILL REPORT THEM TO THE FTC IF THEY KEEP CALLING! This is totally ridiculous!! I refuse to be harassed by them or anyone else due to someone I don't even know!!

    I keep getting calls and being declined on writting checks to JcPenny and Wal Mart.  Went on vacation and wrote 2 checks on my closed accounts which I did by mistake..  I closed my account because my billfold was stolen.When what I had done I took care of this.  My first check of $28.00 cost me 60.00 which I sent a MO to them immediately and still have th receipt to prove it.  They still are calling me.  I sent a letter to them showing the copies of the MO now they my SS  number routing number of the checto do about k plus my account number.  What t.
    o about this mess.  It is messing up my credit

    Got a call from them today and they are incredibly rude, in fact the bill collector hung up on me.  It concerned a debt from 2009, that has tripled in size due to penalties and late fees, he became rude when I wouldn't answer personal questions concerning my living arrangement and how I pay for a cell phone and food, etc.
