Won't stop calling

Complaint

Debbie Gibbs
Country: United States
I would consider this phone harrassement.  Rachel from Cardholders Services has been calling for years everyday 2 or 3 times a day.  Today I took the option to let them know I am on the do not call list.  I said to them " hi my name is Debbie and I am on the do not call" and he just hung up on me.  I do believe they must have heard of the complaint before.  Please help us.

Thank you.

yea these people annoy me all the time home and cell phone, and when I get a represenative they hang up on me as well, actually had one that said he couldnt stop the calls it was automatic everytime I swipe my card. Always notice they call from different states? I told the guy yesterday that I was tired of being harrassed and was ready to take legal action and hung up on him first and the guy called me back 3 times from a New Jersey number saying everyday lady everyday I will keep calling you and once he called me a not so nice name. I reported this to my cell phone comapny and made a police report, but its gonna take more than that. These people are annoying and very rude. I registered both my numbers with the do not call registry again today, next time they get reported to them, I am thinking about calling the news action reporter. We need to all get together and file a class action lawsuit for harrassment

I am sick and tired of getting a call from Rachel of card holder services every day and sometimes two or three times a day. I press 3 to discontinue the calls but it doesn't stop. I Inform them that I am on a do not call list and that doesn't work either. What can I do to stop these annoying calls?

They call me and I can't get them to stop I guess you could call the FCC but they can't stop them eaither  , I guess they must work for the government because they sure can't stop them , or maybe they are the government scaming people out of there money to pay for bail outs . It is really the only thing that makes any sense as this co been doing this for 4 years now from all the complaints to the fcc and they still can't be stopped

I've dialed 9 to speak with a representative and asked to be removed from their call list. This has been met with extremely sexually vulgar responses from the men who answer.

      I. too, keep receiving calls sometimes 2-3 times on the same day----My caller ID says "Office Max" with an 800-549-2895#
I called Office Max to see if an employee is working a side tele. calling job harrassing people for Card Member services---
they assured me it is not coming from their store--We have been on the do not call list for years and I have renewed it many times---no help--others we get are from WA -----------I called my phone co.--we use Cox Cable Bundle---i upgraded my service and now can go on Cox site and block the numbers I put in---
I am keeping track of the calls and have to be alert so I can write the numbers down---
      We'll see if that helps---

after recieving atleast 10 calls from them always from different numbers includeing cell phone numbers, the first thing i said this time was that the phone call was being recorded, this time the guy was very polite and actually stayed on the phone and attempted to answer my questions, i called them a fraud and that i WAS taking legal action against them. He said that my number was being removed from their automated call list. wonder how many more times i will be called.

Just wondering... when the guy said to you it happens everytime you swipe your card... Is it a particular credit card company that is behind this then?  Just wonder what card it is that seems to be causing this harrassment!  Maybe we need to get to the bottom of that and go after the credit card company bedhind it.

I don't think it's associated with a card. He lied as an attempt to justify.  I don't use my cards and I get calls daily.

The only thing that is effect against these clowns is a program called nomorobo, which has been out since April of 2013-since it is very clear that cardholder services doesn't really care about the do not call list and the phone company cares even less since when I did complain very loudly to my own phone company Verizon the only thing they can suggest is trace the number the problem here is the numbers that Rachel and company uses is fake and they are thumping there nose at the do not call registery.  Nomorobo works with fiber optic lines, the normal landlines are still stuck with this and the phone company is not in a giant rush to correct this problem either now if you have a cable company near you may want to consider switching to there phone service assuming they offer there is an off chance it maybe covered.  Anycase best of luck

Like with everyone else, it's been years that these jerks have been calling me, multiple times a day, every day.  It doesn't matter how many times you request to be removed from their list, report them to the DNC, etc.  I'm at my wits end, and it seems like there's no way to get rid of them!
