50+ phone calls offering to extend my vehicle warranty
Complaint

caller fails to identify the company before asking for credit card information on an extended warranty. I went through five levels of "approval" before reaching the closer -- but he failed. When asked to be removed from the call list, the caller (representing Consumer Direct Warranty Services) refused to acknowledge my removal request and proceed to verbally abused me -- finally, he hung up on me. Fortunately, I have an email from the rude individual, and have access to their network. I've filed a complaint on the company via the do-not-call list.
Comments
If you have the fake phone number(s) that have been used, take the time to post a complaint for each call they made, using the same company details. In your comments, again list the other numbers they've called you from even if you posted a separate complaint for those numbers. The more complaints on this company, the more likely it will raise to a level where the FTC takes notice.
Please be sure to provide the alleged company info:

The reason why this works is that blanket calling depends on 1% to 3% call backs. Time is money and the caller depends on commissions. Do the math. If only 40 consumers out of a 100 returned the calls, stayed on the phone for 15 minutes, this would equal 10 solid hours of no sale.
Two spice it up, after you have done your 15 minutes of duty, kindly ask the caller if his mother knows what he is doing. After this humiliation, hopefully the boiler-man will seek other employment, or perhaps turn in the company he is working for. For sure, the host company will go out of business.
As a consumer advocate, please do your duty; you will be helping yourself and others.
Sincerely,

I woke my mom up to tell her that this company was indeed a scam and she is going to cancel tomm. But it sounds like it is going to be hard to get out of the policy. Thank you for all of your blogs on the subject
Oh it sounds so wonderful full power train coverage including all seal's and gaskets. I am @ 108,000 and I would be covered to 208,000 including towing and rental. Wow is this a dream only 350.000 and 12 payments of some odd thing. "When I was in sales the one thing I hated the most was the customer who had to think about it." (be sure to waiste as much and as many sales peoples time as you can yes include all there freinds at the office lmao..)
Then go and think about it. I asked for materials to be sent to me (I think someone scared them about sending people email) they directed me to a website. consumerdirectwarrenty.com I went to google instead and found this forum Yayyy I am so glad I wanted to think about it. for those of you who still havent bitten the apple press 1 to talk to a rep ignor his babble he has a sales pitch and will continue it so long as ya say yes now and again then ask for his boss or bla bla make up a position his company should have they are pretending to be managers anyway. let them talk and talk and then hang up to think about it. you may pat yourself on the back for saveing 2 or more people the displeasure of meeting those people.
I have also treated them to several hours of Sunday morning religious programming.
Thank You
