caller fails to identify the company before asking for credit card information on an extended warranty.  I went through five levels of "approval" before reaching the closer -- but he failed.  When asked to be removed from the call list, the caller (representing Consumer Direct Warranty Services) refused to acknowledge my removal request and proceed to verbally abused me -- finally, he hung up on me.  Fortunately, I have an email from the rude individual, and have access to their network.  I've filed a complaint on the company via the do-not-call list.

    I have never work with a more pathedic warranty company in my life. (CDWS) I had a customer bring in his minivan for a non working power window motor and they wanted all the schedule oil changes from when the policy was bought. What the H#ll does that have to do with a power window motor replacement. This company is crazy and will not let any claims go through unless T is cross and every i is dotted. STAY AWAY FROM CDWS

    I fell for this like many others.they got a down stroke and a first installment before I recieved there fine print in the mail.My truck had 200thousand miles on it and they sold me another 150thousand mile warranty.
    Went to make a claim for a fuel pump after 8 more payments and was denied.sent first form then waited 24hours then second 24 hours and the third time they wanted to know the tire size,another form and 24 hours. I called them and asked if there is anything else and she said no. 24 hours later they asked for service records.What all this has to do with a fuel pump   I dont know. but since I change my own oil I was denied. I have stopped payment and sent a history of this to them my attorny and the BBB. I was lied to because since I had my truck from new and I done all my own servicing is the reason we can offer you this coverage
     That is what the sales person told me. Then there little kit comes about a month and a half later.
     I lost a lot of time and money and totally embarassed that I still fall for sh*t like this.

    You are all right this company is just a scam to rob people. Something must be done about company's like this. I am writing to every congressman about this company. I hope everyone involved will do the same.

            You are in for a rude awakening. I'm willing to bet you that when you file your first claim it as well as any future claims they will be denied.

    Hello All:

                        I'm 100% in agreement with this individal complaints. I too purchased a warranty agreement with CDWS and my claim was denied. The items that are  covered on page #2 of  the agreement, were denied according to the  ( exclusions) on page#3 of the agreement. The exclusions are written so that most  failures are not covered. This company is a scam, and I would like to become involved in any law sues against this company. I can be contacted at jamjam940@aol.com.

    I have purchased mepco and have not had no help on my claims i have had a hard time geting them on the phone to cooperate.

    we have put in a claim for our car 2 days ago.  We found out that the was a problem with our vehicle vent number.  We contacted the necessary people to make the correct.  To our dismay, they are taking their time in correcting this situation.  We have our car sitting in for repairs and it costing us money for this delay.  We were told that the necessary paperwork was submitted but yet no results.  Our agreement no. is ms6914991

    consumer direct warranty service is another flat out warranty scam. all they do is take your money then when it comes down to make a claim most likely over a certain dollar amount ( something that could keep you off the road ) they simply go through the dates from which you started until they find something simple enough to deny your claim...SCAM!!!

    CONSUMER DIRECT is a CONSUMER FRAUD!!!!!I purchased a warranty from CD 14 months ago. I allowed the payments to be electronically withdrawn from my account. All payments were made on the due date UNTIL...I made an error in December and the payment didn't clear. They called me to recover the missed payment...which I paid. In addition, I asked the representative at MEPCO (their payment collection service) what the balance of the account was. I agreed to pay what was required to pay off the account. Turns out...there was one more payment due. They cancelled my policy, so when the mechanics called in to report my claim, they wouln't accept the claim. I called CD who told me I could reinstate the warranty by paying the last payment and re-file the claim. After I did that, they wouldn't pay the claim because the repairs were made when the warranty was cancelled...SCAM...SCAM...SCAM

    If you were scammed too...reort to the Better Business Bureau. We need to ensure their A- rating becomes an F!!!!!!!!!

    I cancelled my policy after paying $1000.00 in premiums.........for every item covered there is a corresponding exclusion. in my situation, I had a water pump that leaked and the clutch fan that did not operate properly. after getting the runaround for 14 days the claim was denied. CDWS stated that the pump and fan was not "broken", broken meaning in pieces. CDWS determined that the fan was burned out, an exclusion, and the pump, although leaking, was not broken and stilled was able to perform the function it was intended to do. SOOO I called the accounting department and told them not to continue to take automatic premium withdraws from my bank account...then I called the bank and told them to deny any automatic to CDWS....then i cancelled my bank card and had the bank issue me a new card with a different card number. Recently I received a call from a representative at cdws and he wanted to cut me a deal for the remaining balance if I stayed on the program.....DONT DO IT......THEY COVER NOTHING...there are however reputable firms out there...check with your local dealer........

    RUN RUN RUN They are ripoffs after buying their 2300 dollar warr. it now has cost me 3000. out of pocket for repairs for things per their contract book was covered every time you prove them wrong they come up with another reason not to pay now have bbb and lawyer involved

    Replying about the mepco or cdws car warranty. I am currently dealing with them can't get a hold of them my shop where car is at says most likely their a bs company . We need to fo sumthing. I've been robbed $ 2000... If u r suing them for ur money back or anything to shut them down please let me know... Thank u   .. Company seems to b shady n a bs comoany . Bunch of ripp offs takin advantage of everyone..
