caller fails to identify the company before asking for credit card information on an extended warranty.  I went through five levels of "approval" before reaching the closer -- but he failed.  When asked to be removed from the call list, the caller (representing Consumer Direct Warranty Services) refused to acknowledge my removal request and proceed to verbally abused me -- finally, he hung up on me.  Fortunately, I have an email from the rude individual, and have access to their network.  I've filed a complaint on the company via the do-not-call list.

I bought an auto want'y frm. A.A.Auto Warranty, the broker for C.D.W.S.which I DID NOT KNOW at the time NOR WAS this disclosed to me!! BUT I FOUND out later...the HARD way!!

LADY THESE PEOPLE ARE CROOKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!   W/ double capital letters!! I was cleaned out summer of '10 to the tune of $3,700. bec. of them.  I have been trying to get them [ AAAW  or CDWS] honor the product they sold me since 6/2010 !!! I wrote the  Governor in all that states their "crookness" touched me in....to NO AVAIL!!!!! All the answers I got from "all the powers that be" were what I call  "feather smoothing" letters!!! BUT NO   ZERO  ACTIONS !!! A A Auto Wan'ty, the company I bought frm flat laughed at me & told me good luck trying to get my money back from them OR getting my wanty. package honored by CDWS.
I was told by AAAW that I wasn't the only one CDWS had done this to and they were trying to "deal" with them...I asked why could all who had been wronged gather into a class action suit. again a laugh..."we'll take take of our part"  considering AAAW  had my $1712. what made this NOT my part also???
I would like it if you , me & all the rest CDWS  has "took" could get together...M. M.  facebk; jan williamson....let's talk...

I have been researching information on CDWS for quite some time for a friend of mine who has paid money to this company and would like to see
    it refunded.

Please update us on where you are with any action you are planning against this company so that we can decide when and if we will join you. Thank-you

maybe you need to follow your own instructions on creditability by your self. If you finance for a company with no credability you are just as much in falt in my eyes.

I purchased a CDWS plan for my used van in the summer of 2009, and tried to use it twice this year.  No answer to the faxes or calls from the Mazda dealership.  I am thinking of suing in small claims for my $1800.  Thanks for the tip about the credit card!  I'll find out which one it was and cancel it!!!
Anyone have any luck getting their money back???

Our mechanic was unable to talk to anyone. Everything is on a recorder, even their Customer Service. We ended up paying $9,000 in repairs and had to sell the car. I am trying to get my money back. They should be fined and taken out of business. They advertise on TV. "Geared for Service".. I don't think so. I emailed them. I will go further with this until I get answers as to why this place is in business.

I paid $1900 to these crooks for a 5 yr warranty.  I took a trip to Ohio from Arizona and my air conditioner went out and the condenser had to be replaced.  I e-mailed them and told them I was taking it to a Ford dealer in Sellersburg, IN.  All I got back was a copy of a Q & A sheet which stated they were'nt accepting any phone calls from anyone and all correspondence had to be thru the repair shop.  Ford filled out their on-line claims report and got a fax back that they were not to proceed with the repairs until they approved the repair and they wouldn't approve the repair until they got hard copy reports of all maintenance done on the car since the purchase of the contract and if they didn't have them in 3 business days the case would be closed.  I e-mailed them back to tell them my maintenance reports were at my home in Arizona.  I paid over a $1000 for the repairs so I could get back to Arizona and have contacted an attorney.

Try to talk to or get CDWS to pay for a covered w2arranty is impossible.  Absolutely to most infuriating company I've ever dealt with.  What legitimate company refuses to talk to their customers?

They are'nt listed with the BBB. They ripped me off for $1900.  They have no intentions of honoring the contract.

I just called company after company chasing after a solution to get my 'extended warranty' that isnt being honored and I found Car Safe LLC to be outstanding in what they are trying to offer consumers that have been ripped off by these fraudulent companies.  The sales rep, James, explained to me the owner of Car Safe LLC understands what is happening and is trying to do all he can to help even though it literally isnt their company's problem.  Their number is 866-661-2565.  It really was surprising that the customer service rep made the comment she made when she first pulled up my policy from Consumer Direct Warranty Services.  BE FORE WARNED!!!!  NEVER USE THAT COMPANY TO EXTEND YOUR VEHICLES WARRANTY!!!!  I hope this information will help anyone as it sure gave me a little piece of mind knowing that someone is trying to help when the original company wouldnt.  Even Car Safe CANNOT get a hold of anyone from the CDWS company when they tried to call them.
