Getting charged by GRC Vita Power

Two months ago I ordered Proactive products and ever since have been receiving these "GRC Vita Power" vitamins that I did not order. Every month $65 is being taken out of my credit account. So I called BOA and got them to put a stop against VitaPower charging me the 33.94 each month. Hopefully that will stop them from charging me. When I called Proactive they gave me this number for VitaPower 888-684-9660. I tried calling but no one answered.

    I had the same problem.  I purchased these facial creams called Natural advantage and got charged for this Vita Power vitamins that I did not order.  I called my the credit company and put a block on their charges.  I tried to call their number on my cell and I received a message from them saying that I had to give out some information and that they were going to text me (which means that I was going to pay for the text). I immediately heard a beep and tunned off the phone and heard the beep for another 20 seconds. I am going to also complain to the BBB (Better Business Bureau).

    This company is ridiculous.  I called (888)848-2797 after I saw a charge for $2.99 on my credit card information and they said that I was going to be billed $32.94 for 3 months.  I asked the lady to cancel my account and she said she did.  

    So I called back and talked to another lady just to make sure my account was actually canceled and she said that I had requested to make the purchase with a check or money order instead of automatically with my credit card.  This is ridiculous, I told them I didn't want their product anymore, not that I wanted to purchase it a different way.  If you read all of the complaints they go back for years, I cannot believe this company has been scamming people for this long and getting away with it.  Can a good attorney please take them on? Please?

    I am not defending these people, I am in the process of getting charged, I immediately put a stop payment through my bank, may or may not work... havent received second set of vitamins beyond the free ones.... 1 thing, when you are on proactive as you are going through the order process a seperate windo pops up advertiseing the free pills, that window says:

    If i would have ordered the proactive instead of my wife i would have said no thanks to that.... or atleast known to cancel it right away.  Another thing, these are 90 day supplies...  that means that some of you had the free/reduced month, got charged, then 3 MONTHS Later got charged AGAIN! Shouldnt have taken you 4 months to figure out where these vitamins are coming from....  I will post back with mty results, hopefully i can get this payment stopped before they physically ship the vitamins,   good luck to all of you in getting away from this misleading company.

    Correction, after reading a few more posts and seeing that people were getting charged either 3 payments of $33 or payments of $98 i went back and read what i posted.... it says $33 per month, not for the whole 90 days, I apologize for that last bit,  BUT  the window still pops up and most people just see FREE and agree to it to get rid of the window and continue thier order

    i got the same scam - from ordering from Meaningful Beauty.  the Meaningful Beauty customer service was NO help but gave me a phone number: 888-848-2797. i called and they said they would cancel the recurring schedule and (eventually) stated that if i mail the unopened vitamins back, they will credit my account, less s/h charges.  from reading these comments, i have my doubts, so i went ahead and cancelled my card - before i could get charged more!!

    Hi to all, I have the same problem like you. I order two months ago a Proactive products and receive and these Vita Clear Vitamins for free. These month I found that I was charged without authorization for these Vitamins again. I call my bank - SunTrust and they gave me a phone number to call - 888 848 2797 - "GRC Vita Power" customer service. I call and after waiting about a minute I speak with CS agent. I explain him what is the situation, he check it and stop the order. But he explain to me, that with my proactive order I sign and for these vitamins and they are automatically send to me every month. I also ask him to stop any further sends to me. He told me that I will not receive any more automatic payments/orders. Hope that will be done. From my bank, they told me that if from Vita Clear did not cooperate with me, the bank will block any payments - present and future from them - so not to be charge for something that I did not purchase.
    Again the phone is 888 848 2797 -"GRC Vita Power", call them.

    The lady told me to return the first shipment and then I will get a refund and also that will stop future shipment! She better not be lying.

    I also got the first order for free with my Wenhaircare order. What scams!

    Please stop taking money from my account for your product which I didn't order if I want it I would order it. That's stealing because you took my money without my permission. Now it will cost me to send your product back and also to cancel my card please stop sending me stuff I haven't ordered.  I am so pissed

    I have the same problem.  Back in January I ordered ProActive & was sent this free sample of GRC VitaPower vitamin that I was not interested in to begin with but they insisted on sending them out as a trial for free & then another order of them showed with out requesting and the charges started hitting our checking account without approval. I never wanted these darn things and canceled within 30 days from the first order so I should never have gotten to this stage.  I am frustrated with them because they told me what to do to cancel them & I did everything to a T as they told me to & I am still getting charged monthly $32.94.  I am contacting my bank & the Better Business Bureau in hopes that something gets done about this situation.  I think this company needs to be stopped and funds returned to individuals that were scammed into their product if I was ProActive I would be embarrassed to have this taking place while trying to sale their product.  Can someone out there help us all out with this group.

    Update, My bank stopped the payment to vita power for two days,  this morning found the charge dated 3/30, I will be calling my bank again today and explaining to them that I never authorized vita power to use my card information and never agreed to recurring payments. Havent received first batch of vitamins yet (apparently shipped last thursday). As soon as i do i will be shipping them back with delivery confirmation.... I hate what people try to get away with these days....

    Another Update!  So I figured out where they get authorization to charge to peoples accounts... After you agree to the initial popup and it adds the vitamins to your cart there is some literature added to the fine print. the Item iny our shopping cart reads:

    You all fail, and I fail.... I hate these low life swindelling companies, but they definantly know how to get peoples money.... now i just gotta hope i receive my vitamins sometime within the next couple months so i can return them....

    Proactive needs to be sued, seriously because i canceled my order 3 weeks ago and they just today reimburst my money to my bank account and now Vita Power is charging my account of 36.16 thats fraud, so i called them and told them that my bank account would file fraud against them because they charged my bank account with out my consent and further more i authorized "Proactive" with my credit card not GRC Vita Power. and the represenative canceled my order that was on file and said, " give it to a couple of days for charge to fall off and your money will be there."

    all of sudden GRC Vita Represenative wants to reimburse my money, what i dont understand is how did GRC Vita Power come across my credit card i gave to Proactive? is Proactive saleing there customers credit card info to GRC Vita Power? Proactive is fraud for doing that someone needs to look into it and SUE the [***] out of Proactive that mess dont even work. Im very upset cause the economy is full of [***] and bad and this high class companies are stealing from us like crazy n who comes after them? no one. well i hope someone could send Proactive C.E.O or there headquarters this web page.

    I was at Miami 6 months ago just for tourism, I come from Ecuador at south america I bought The products from PROACTIVE I recived the products just one time and came back to my country but my Credit card had been charged 7 times I called 2 months ago and PORACTIVE "cancelled" my account but the GRC* VITAPOWER still charge me 34. dollars each mounth, I just call at "CALL CENTER FROM GRC* VITAPOWER" and told me that I have to pay two more months to cancell my order. This "company" dont know anythng about costumer service this kind of bussines is so "lucrative" for this reasons

    Something should be done about it, i had the same problem this month of april and march too...but too me it is going to be easy if they continue to charge my account i will take legal actions against them...period

    I have had the SAME thing happen and if you read closly when it says "Do you want to add a free 30 day whatever it said" It does say that if you dont cancel before the first 30 days they will keep charging you after that.
     Get right on calling that number, cause this screwed me royally! HINT- PROACTIVE will also continue to charge you if you sign up online, for up to a year! So if you want to order from them (I WOULDNT SUGGEST IT TO ANYONE) then please do it by phone so you dont get these re-occurring charges!!
