Two months ago I ordered Proactive products and ever since have been receiving these "GRC Vita Power" vitamins that I did not order. Every month $65 is being taken out of my credit account. So I called BOA and got them to put a stop against VitaPower charging me the 33.94 each month. Hopefully that will stop them from charging me. When I called Proactive they gave me this number for VitaPower 888-684-9660. I tried calling but no one answered.

    I have the IDENTICAL complaint.  I am being charged $33.94 every month without authorization.  I also ordered Proactive products (two months ago!!!) and canceled my membership last month but I still keep getting this charge.
    I called the number you suggested (thank you) and actually got a person who responded.  I told her to stop placing this charge on my credit card and that I had checked on line and that many people had this similar complaint.  I got Customer Service (Santa) and she allegedly canceled this order and I allegedly will not be charged again.  She said that when I became a member of Proactive they offered these vitamins for $1.00 (I don't remember that) and then you automatically join this GRC Vita Power Program and they send you vitamins every month for $33.94 a month. I also got their E-mail address which is GRNVitamins@CTU2.com .  I hope this puts an end to these charges.  Seeing this E-mail was very valuable to me.  Thank you, Carol.

      ME TOO! I've been looking how to cancel for about a year. I never authorized it. I don't get it. I found an email online that I thought was for them cancelling. I emailed that company, never heard back, and am still being charged. I have yet to open these boxes anyway. Such a waste of my money!

      I'm going to talk to my lawyer friend as this is not legal to take money out with out your authorization.

        I had the same problem and called and hopefully cancelled anything with them as well as cancelling my credit card as to all the horrow stories I've read  here. You might want to cancel your CC too.

    I have also the same problem. I'm trying now to resolve it. I started with my credit card customer service, but they said that they needs a cancellation confirmation by GRC Vita Power. That ridiculous! I feel that I don't have any control with my credit card. I don't remember when I order that kind of vitamins because I just order the ProActive. There is a strange practice. I will try now to reach GRC by the phone or email address that you indicated. thanks!

    we have the same problem GRC Vita Power i called the number 888-684-9660 the lady was nice about it and she claimed to cancel the program i guess i will wait and see

    I, too, have an issue with GRC Vita Power.  I called Proactiv to find a contact telephone number because when I did a search in google for GRC Vita Power, the only thing I found was pages and pages of complaints about this company making unauthorized charges to peoples accounts. The number I was given by Proactiv is 888-848-2797. I did talk to someone named Leslie and she said that the current charge is a second installment because they send a 60-day supply and then charge you monthly.  I cancelled my account on 2/20/08 and was just charged again.  I will be returning the product to the address she gave me at Returns Dept, 95 Old Shoals Rd, Arden, NC 28704. She claims that in 4-6 weeks I will get my money back of $59.90 which is minus shipping charges. I told the rep at Proactiv about my search results and that I thought that it looked very bad for them to be promoting a company with such shady business practices and she said that she would send a complaint form to their corporate office.  Hope it works, there's a lot of unhappy people out there!

    FACT! This is rediculous. GRC doesn't even have their own website, by googling there name all you find is complaints. I was just looking at my bank statement and saw that I was charged for this crap when all I need and should be charged for is the Proactiv. REDICULOUS! I will try calling them and see what happens...

    I am speaking to them now on the phone because I had the same situation where I said that I didnt want the vitamins and they automatically shipped them to me. I spoke to Lisa at the number you gave on the blog and she was very helpful and told me to return the shipment when it arrives and that they will credit my acct.  Did you get your money back yet?

    I received vitamins also. They said that when I checked the free vitamins block I had authorized the monthly shipments and the invoice was in with the vitamins. Also that cancelling my proactiv membership did not cancel my GRC vitamin membership. I used the phone number 1-888-848-2797 and after 20 minutes got a person. I am still fighting with the charges. Note GRC is a part of Guthy-Renker Corp. which is also the company that sells Proactiv.

    I also have the same complaint.  I DID NOT order this product, nor anything else that would lead to receiving this product.  I don't order products taken internally from the internet.  I have allergies to most medicines and can't take a chance in ordering something to which I could have a bad reaction.  I don't know how they got my name and credit card number, but I am going to the bank tomorrow and make sure they can't take anything else out of my account.  Since I didn't know why I was receiving the product, I just threw it out thinking it was a company sending out freebies.  Then I saw the money taken out of my account this month and that was it.  I called the 888 684 9660 number and told the lady to cancel.  Yes, she was a nice lady, but I have no faith that it will end the scam for me or anyone else.

    Here are 2 numbers that actually went through to someone.  The first is North Carolina number 888 684 9660.  She said she cancelled my order.  I called 888 848 2797 and talked to a supervisor.  He never said that my account showed it was cancelled.  He said he cancelled it.  I called my bank and cancelled my credit card so they can't get any more money.  I traced my bank account back to where all this started.  It was from an informercial.  After ordering some books, I started receiving vitapower and magazines.  You have to call them to cancel, but if you just think it's junk mail and throw away the stuff because you don't want it, how do you know you are supposed to do anything.  They are out to trick you and scam you.  Don't order this product and don't buy anything on infomercial.

    Just to let you know, that 33.94 is just payment 1 of 2!! Yes, there is more!!  I finally got a refund, but it was short the full amount and am on hold as we speak!  They charged me a total of 62.88 plus what it cost to send it back!  What a scam!!!

    By the way, it did take a few weeks for the refund, but finally got most of it.  I will get the rest if I have to go take it out of their ass!  These people have me fired up.  I don't like to be taken advantage of!
