They call your telephone number and leave a message telling you, you can make up to $38,000.00 a year just by processing their government mortgage insurance refunds. They charge $69.00+10.00 (S&H) for the start up guide and they let you know if you really do not want to do this kind of work to not press the number one key. They say at this 971-285-3130 number that your money can be returned minus the S&H if you are not satisfied or if you change your mind and do not want to do this kind of work. I believe her name was Nora, I asked if this was a scam and of course she said "NO". BUT IT IS! On 800notes.com there are many complaints about this scam. PLEASE spread the Word about this SCAM!

Yeah, this sounded dumb. They were asking me for money and they hadnt said anything about who they were or how I could tell this was real. I told them to give me a number I could reach them back on (9712853130). Glad I checked this site out.

I just got off the phone, and the caller's name was Shanna phone # she called from: (603)214-3632. I asked who they're and how legitimate they're as far as an established company. She said that this GMI Enterprises LLC, had been on the market for 4 years, and they're doing good so far, but I didn't buy it. I worked for government contractor, you'll need to go for a background check, and what a check, for drug test, etc.. They're a scam for sure, when somebody ask for money, something it's not right. I just pray that they'll pay for it!

You are right.  When they called me I asked the girl why she wasnt doing the at home work instead of calling people on the phone.  She couldn't answer my question.  She said that i could go to the website and check it out.  Of coarse while i was on the phone with her i googled it and the first thing that came up was this is a scam.  I was reading it to her and she hung up on me with a recording that said i was taken off the call list.  Must not be that good of a company for her not to rebuttle.....

I just received a call from this company (scam) and have smartened up after a myriad of calls once I went online to "work at home". I'm disabled and volunteer, but the economy is such that I can't afford to live with what disability pays.  It seems that the online places, whether you give your name or not, get your email that leads to your phone.  I told this person at CMI that I wanted to call back the number, which turned into another message.  At the same time, I got to this website. THANK YOU SO MUCH. I thought it was probably a scam, but was able to quickly confirm while the salesperson was still online.  I hope that there are more and more websites to identify these scams. They try to take advantage of those needing income and not in a position to leave home.  Another company "EZRate1" also under several names is a total scam too.  Good luck to all of us trying to make it.

Wow, could you possibly be the GMI PR person.  How can you sleep at night. All of your people scamming others should be in jail. You're worse and more gutless than someone who walks into a bank with a gun.  They at least let everyone know what the "picture looks like".  There are no words to describe those that feed off of others except "preditor".  I guess what goes around, comes around.  I wouldn't want to be you.

    Struggling but honest.

    Hi,
Your message just came up.  You go!! My message is just below yours. I did he same thing.  I need to find out where SCAM central is located and either start a website or have major links that I can start to make more people aware.  Any ideas.  You can reply if you know where I might find a location that I can send to others.  It's time we stopped being scammed by phones, let alone our own government who hasn't put the obvious together.

    Have a good one.

They ALMOST got me. Right as I gave out my first Credit Card Number, I said "I'm not feeling good about this. Let me check this out on the internet" They hung up. Thanks for letting me know about this scam. Altho, they have my address now. I don't think they can do anything with that. Anyone calling and not knowing my name is usually a scam.
    Thanks everyone.

ive done phone sales and direct sales in the past and they were not scams, but i want to hear from those who actually put in some work and made a sale with this company GMI Enterprises. im interested in more info and if it is worth putting up the initial investment. I know once someone finds out that there is some actual work to be done they give up and automatically assume its a scam. so if any one actually made some income with this please email me at glaudins@yahoo.com

    Carole B,
I bought into the scam and I can tell you the facts.....they tell you on the phone that they will send you everything you need to start processing right away and that is the first LIE. Once you get your package that you have paid $69 for and $10 for S&H and the real postage paid on their end is about $1.50 you start reading and find out that you have to write or email HUD for a list of of people who a due a refund. This information is available to anyone who requests it but for a FEE! This can be from $20-30, and can take up two 4-6 weeks to deliver. YES...you can start working right away....but making money.....IMPOSSIABLE. Once you get the list from HUD the Refund Processing Manual tells you to do a MASS MAILING fo 200-500
letters of intent to help these people claim their refunds from the governmentand hope you get a 2% return on your mailing. Can you afford to
waste anoter $86-215 dollars on postage not counting the envelopes, ink  for your printer and the paper. I could go on and on and on..... If you would like to hear more this E-Mail me directlly at debbiethenurse2001@yahoo.com     I am taking this to the BBB

I just got the call, and when I started asking questions the nice lady hung up on me. Question: why was she calling me instead of people who need a refund?

Couldn't find "GMI Enterprises" on the better business bureau site, but did find "CMI Enterprises", listed as a work at home, in the zip code they provided.

I still wouldn't trust these people.

I received a call today stating that I could work from home and make
$38,943.00 a year being a refund processor. The lady name was Kristy #317
I asked her where was she located and she said in Portland Oregon.  She told me it would cost $69.00 and they will send a package out and assign me a supervisor.  I asked for a number so I could call her back. The number is
971-285-3130. I thought I would Google them. GLAD I DID !!!! They need to be reported to the BBB.

Trust me, I just received a call from these people with a message that "sounded" legitimate.  When I got on the phone with the operator I asked her one question where is the website for this information and she told me.  Then I proceeded to ask her another question and I suddenly started talking to a dialtone.......
