They call your telephone number and leave a message telling you, you can make up to $38,000.00 a year just by processing their government mortgage insurance refunds. They charge $69.00+10.00 (S&H) for the start up guide and they let you know if you really do not want to do this kind of work to not press the number one key. They say at this 971-285-3130 number that your money can be returned minus the S&H if you are not satisfied or if you change your mind and do not want to do this kind of work. I believe her name was Nora, I asked if this was a scam and of course she said "NO". BUT IT IS! On 800notes.com there are many complaints about this scam. PLEASE spread the Word about this SCAM!

I got a phone call saying that I could make 38,000.00 a year by just refunding some kind of morgage refunds that all I had to do was pay 69 for them to send me the package I asked if I could have the package sent with a bill and they said no to go to walmart and buy a prepaid visa and as soon as they got the money they would send me the package so they almost convinced me but praise GOD that I decided to google it I am very thankful that this website is here with this infromation otherwise I would have fallen for it .If you ever get an offer like this don't and seems too good to be truth go google it before you fall for it. I've googled several offers and all have been scams.THATS THE BEST THING TO DO GOOGLE BEFORE YOU FALL FOR IT.

I just now received a call from GMI Enterprises and as I was talking with the operator #216 I typed it into my computer and this post immediately popped up.  So I told the guy I was reading about how people were scammed by them.  He said Well I can direct you to our webiste and he gave me the address and when I didn't answer him he said are you there.  I said NO, I'm reading what others are saying about how you scammed them.  He HUNG UP ON ME!  Wow, I'm so glad I was online when the recording called and I immediately checked them out.  I'm going to contact our local news station on channel 2, called "On Your Side", regarding the scam and see if they will go out to their place of business and do a report on TV.  I live in the same city as this business is supposed to be.

I asked for the company name & number before I committed. I called the BBB and they don't have anything on them. All legitimate businesses register with the BBB. The bad thing is I registered on line for unemployment and they got got my phone # from that government site! I have gotten more scam offers in the last 2 months from being on the government site then I have in the last 10 years put together. Watch out for leaches!!!! Especially when they stem from the government!!!

I gave them my debit card number about an hour ago and I just called the bank to order a new card after I read this site. If possible I would STRONGLY suggest you do the same.

I just received a call --- something told me to look it up first and I found this website .  thank goodness i did not provide my cr card . When I asked if I could call him back he said for what? I said with my cr card or dr card -- he told me no because the jobs in my area would probably no longer be available.that's what made me do a little more investigating.

Hi they called my yesterday and at first I went for it then the more I thought about it I called them back and cancelled it b/c it seemed kind of odd to me. I got to thinking why would anyone want you to pay to start working at home.  I wonder if there is anyway that we can get them for getting all of our hopes up.  I am a single mom trying to work, go to school, and take care of kids and I thought it was great till I actually thought about it.  The money is still in my account as far as I think.  You know the say if it sounds to good to be true then it is.  anyone with ideas or suggestions may e-mail me at charityross4@yahoo.com.

I have made the same mistake as many others I see have made. Fortunately, I am not that bad off from losing that 79 dollars. I guess Ill take this as a lesson learned. But how stupid I feel when normally I would hang up on calls like this but I don't know why I didnt. I guess no matter how good the deals sound, if your not speaking with people personally or if you have to pay money up front then it'll be best not to do it.

Hello, Is your Mom still the Manager of GMI Enterprises. I understand what you have posted. I have never used the package that I received for 69.00 dollars and 10.00 shipping because I couldn't afford the other charges to run this in home business. I tried the phone number on GMI Enterprises "Read This First" cover letter which is 503-946-5949, and this is no longer the number. I tried another phone number from this website but it has been disconnected. I have not tried to look up a correct number today but I will.
If you get this message can you give me the information I need for a refund, I would appreciate your efforts. If this doesn't reach you, I will take a chance on mailing back to the address 2050 Beavercreek Road Ste 101-393, Oregon City, OR 97045 with a letter requesting a certified check to be sent to my address. Thank you for your time. Sincerely, Kim James

I got the call just yesterday, but I only had $78 in my account at the time. I was going to put more in my account today. After reading this I changed my mind, but I gave them my card #, name, and address yesterday. What can I do?

Hi.  I received a post card but I always verify information.  Do your Due Diligence before giving out your hard earned money!

As far as a website, they have one.  It also has a page for a full refund.  I don't know if they will actually follow through with it but it is available online at http://refundhelp.net/guarantee.html

They say they have a 100% guarantee.  GMI's website is www.refundhelp.com.

I also smelled something rotten in the state of Denmark and declined their offer.  They tried desperately to tell me anybody can post anything online and I stated that's true but people will also try and sell you anything...

Good luck all AND DO YOUR DUE DILIGENCE!

I used to take phone calls for this company and I was a telemarketer. It is not a scam. Unfortunately they do not tell you that you need to buy a list from the government which is bull crap but I have recieved phone calls where people were really happy with what they are doing. I'm not trying to side with the company just letting you all know. The BBB does not have them listed which I don't understand why but It is totally legit!
