I have repeatedly received phone calls from an Indian Call Center caliming to be representatives of a Law Firm, ACS. I have done some research into this "firm" and have found it to be completely fraudulent. DO NOT give any information to these people and forward any information you have to the FBI...

    This [***] (Justin Floyd) keeps calling me also!!!!!  This had me so freakin scared, and I knew I did not do anything!  I even called the sheriff's dept!  Now, I try to call them back, no ring!  What the hell is up with these people??!!!

    I've just received a call today from the number 904-206-7728 He syed his name was Matthew......he told me I had a internet loan the was put in my account for 500.00 and that they were filing court procedures on me today and that I was gonna lose my job was talking soooo fast couldn't understand him I told him to put someone on the phone I could understand I ask the  next person on the phone what was the name of the cash advance place I supposed to have taken a loan out at he wouldn't release the name had my ss# wrong the call was very very disturbing I ask him for a number to call him back on when I called the number back it was a generic voicemail called back again couldn't understand the voice message he wouldn't give a company name either......so I deceided to google search the number WOW!!! and it came back as a cell phone number and harrassing calls link to the number something need to be done about these BOGAS people!!! ALL I'M SAYING IS PLEASE DON'T GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR CORRECT INFORMATION!!!

    I got a call on my voice mail saying that I was going to be arrested in two hours for 7 months and 26 Days he was an India man and I couldn't understand the number he gave me this is rediculous and there should be laws about this

    I jsut got a call from them too and when I tried calling back they kep hanging up on me. That phone number is 510 991 1003. Thanks for all the info on this scam.

    I too have been called by these jerks.  Last week it was the same middle eastern accent and said they were from LLC Law Firm and that I owed them $5000 and needed to be paid right now or I would be in jail and would need alot of help and money to get out.  Then today I get a call from ACS and same type of accent and very american names.  They gave me their senior law partner who gave me a bar code and he was registered with the state of NY bar.  He gave me the same info cash advance but couldn't give me a date as to when this happened but he would contact them and I was to call back in 30 mins.  So I called back he said I can't remember the managers name I just spoke to but call and they will help you.  So I called and another man with the same back ground noise and same accent says that he has been emailing me demands for over a year!  When I denied this he said ok I email ACS and you will be in jail tonight.  I am so mad that they can prey on people and God knows how many people have paid them in fear.  I am contacting my local PD.  Unfortunately I can change my number with no problems but my office can't and thats where they keep calling.

    I too have received calls from them.so has my grandma in their attempts to "serve" me my papers. They contacted my gma at ten at night so she called me told me to contact them. I called them today and asled to speak with the tasha williams that originally called...no known employee.the man I soke to alex mcdaniel got rude with me once I said this is a scam...he yelled at me on phone sayong " youre a [***] kid who took out a loan and domt want to [***] pay it back..you [***] [***]". And hung up.they called back four times I answered and sat on phone listening to them cuss me out and tell me to watch my back. No bill collector will cuss ypu out yeah they can get rude but nvr will threaten you. They have called using a 1866 &1888 number..they dont accept money order or chk only cc so theres no paper trail. I contacted my local police dept and filed a phone harrassment report theb contacted bbb they have no record of this company in national database. I filed complaint w them too. So glad I nvr sent them money

    receiving calls from this same company "ACS Group" the first call came from a female caller named justine miller and she left message to return call regarding debt left a case file number with cb# 888-240-1864. she also stated if no return call there will be a summons delivered to me at home or place of work. Then next day male called left me a message exactly the same. I returned call, male answered and then I ask to speak to justine miller and the male stated there was no justine miller so I proceeded to give him case number. He then told me my name, last 4 of ssn# and address along with my email address. I then proceeded to tell him this is the first I heard of this situation and send me proof on paper in mail. He then informed me they are a green company and he can only email me the information. I then ask for there address in NY, he said he could not give me it would have to be a supervisor, I ask to speak to supervisor, I was put on hold then another male came on phone (sounding like same individual, american voice). I ask supervisor for address and his reply was "why?" I said because I wasn't going to let them scam me. He still did not ive me address stating he couldn't give that info because they deal with several cases and have received threats. I let them know I am ot giving you anymore info over the phone and I will be waiting for email. Has anyone else received calls from this number (ACS GROUP FROM NY 888-240-1864)?

    Well this is just an update to everyone on this scamming company ACS GROUP LLC out of ny supposedly. I received several calls from them today and my family has also. This company is a scam, they are pulling peoples names and info from old bank accounts and from online when you register or anything. I called the bank and the cash payday place in which they said they were calling for to collect a debt. The bank didn't even know this company and had received other complaints and also cash net does not use this company. I never have taken out a cash loan and the bank name they were using I had not had account with this bank in over 2 years. Both the bank and cash net transferred me to there security office, then I gave both securities names and the different numbers they were calling me from. So if you get a call from ACS i suggest you let them know they have been reported.
    Here are some of the names they are using: Justine Miller, Brian, Mike, Daniel and Amanda. The numbers they used so far are 888-240-1864, 888-240-1964, and 866-641-3995
    They are rude when you start questioning them and they hang up on you so I hope theses [***] get caught

    i received several call from adam white from acs the law for telling me of money i owe on a loan it was and india man with a very heavy accent. telling me that he will get me fired if i dont pay back the loan and told me that i will be sued in court for a loan and even send me papers via email for rme to sign and put my bank info on it. i dont him to stop calling my job and harrassing me because i will file a complaint against him.

    these people call me at work and say thay are officers and i had better have lots of money when they come for me. i have asked for a badge # and they hang up. they are getting me into trouble at work and my boss has told them to not call me there, but they still do.

    We keep getting calls from a guy names "Johnny Davis" I cant even understand them they have such a thick idian accent I did call the federal trade commission and the fbi and they said it is a scam they are fake and when I asked them for documentation they called my a bi@#h and hung up

    They too have started calling me today.  they have called about 8 times which right there is harrassment.  No legit collection agency would handle their collection calls this way.  I have had over the several past years a lot of different calls of the same nature but different names and different phone numbers.  They all have american names and indian accents.  The person who called me today and left a message i cannot even understand the message.

    I ripped them a new one yesterday. The "process server" called me and threatened me, from an anonymous number no less, saying I was in trouble for intent to defraud. Last week when I called this alleged "company" they could not provide me with a contract showing my name or any proof I owe them anything, just a letter with NO emil or physical address claiming I owed the debt.

    I tore Mr. So-called Server to shreds, I told him until I see a contract with my name on it showing I owe this supposed debt, I owe them nothing. I told them I wanted to see it in writing, and no BS. I told him too that the way they are handling this alleged situation is not the way an above-board company does business.

    This is a violation of the FDCPA, and I have already reported them to my state AGO.

    I received a call from Nicole Logan (phone number 866-380-8655) and they said I had defaulted on a cash advance loan in 2008.  I had no recollection of such a loan and asked that they provide me information supporting their claim.  They responded with "you  have all of the information".  They called me a loser and stated that if I took care of my business they would not have to sue me.  They said they would have the police come to my business and arrest me for fraud and that my employer would know who I really was.  These people are horrible and it concerns me that there is no recourse for this type of harrassment. When I spoke to them about Fair Debt Collect and the legal process they hung up.

    I recieved a call 1st from a process server that gave me a case # and a phone# to call to find out what it was concerning. It was the ACS Group, LLC claiming that I had defaulted on a payday loan from 3/08 but he could offer me a "settlement" right now. They had my full SS# & home address.
    I asked for them to fax me & claimed to be a "green" company & could only email. Once I received the email, there was a different phone #. I called them back & asked for their business license #., after several minutes holding, they could not do it. I am so glad i read all of these posts, or I too would have become a victim.

    LOL, now they are a Mr. Perry and a Randy, who said they were going to file harassment because I had to keep calling to first get the name of the company and then when I asked them to send me the documents stating I owed this money (opened in 2008 according to them at an OLD address of mine), they got angry and said "You are a grown woman and you are acting like a child" hahahah, wth?  They refuse to give me their address so I can write for them to cease harassment my mom or their "process sever" who called and told my mom in unintelligible English that they were going to file criminal charges and pursue me viciously...and then I told them that they were violating the fair debt collection act, Randy tells me they are not a collection agency (but when I asked earlier for the process servers number they were a collection agency)....they think I am not paying attention.  I gave them an old address to see if they come back with me supposedly opening a cash advance at that address LOL, and apparently a court order will be served in 2-5 days faster than they can get the paperwork saying I owe this money officially, LOL...then they told me to "shut-up", "grow up"...what scares me is they have my ss number, I am going to call SS and file for a new number because to be threatened for someone stealing my ss is not fair.  Of course they said they would settle and then I could go to court. LOL, but what amuses me most is them stating they had no information and that all the attorneys were at lunch or that I would get charged more to speak to them, I said thats fine cause I want all the info regarding this money I owed, they hung up...I am calling the FTC again to get a number to press charges against this company, they should not be allowed to harass or threaten people

    To show you how low down and dirty these people are, they now have American criminals working for them.....I guess people noticed the accents when they called the company, now just the process servers are not American.  Which is why they wont give the address cause they know ppl wold know they were definitely not a legit company.  The phone they have now is 1-866-410-4377.  They are absolutely the lowest life forms on Earth next to child molesters, murderers and rapist.  "Randy" and "Mr. Perry" will tell you to grow up, stop acting like a kindergartener, shut-up, etc. anything to try to make you fear them and pay them money you don't owe....oh and dont ask them for anything proving you owe anything, like phone numbers, addresses or paperwork cause they dont have it, its coming with the summons LOL....how can they prove I owe said money since they told me how easy it is to get said money regardless of where one lives, LMAO.....then when I asked for their address I was told I am not sure of myself, huh? Sure of what? LOL...biggest [***] on Earth...hope they get caught and put into the worst jail cell ever!

    My family members starting receiving calls yesterday saying I had check fraud. I called them back today and they said I had an outstanding payday loan from 2008. I questioned them as I knew I didnt have anything outstanding and she said she didnt have to provide me with information and that she just was letting me know a summons was coming. I asked why no paperwork had been sent since she told me my address and my full social. And she said collectors for years have been trying to collect however nothing is on my credit report? When I questioned that she hung up on me, so I called right back asking for more information she said she didnt have time for my nonsense and hung up, so I called back and gave it to her called her every name in the book so if she is foreign she def learned some new word. I called CashNet the debt she said I owed and they confirmed nothing was owed and filed a fraud report.

    I have had these same people call my father n law and my work.  i work for a government office and it is illegal for them to call my work no matter what.  they tried to tell me i took out a loan in 2008 and i know i did not.  i asked them to fax me information and they said their fax was broken so they emailed me stuff.  i actually called the company they said i didnt pay and they said i never had a loan with them and they said to contact the fair trades, local police, and bbb.  i am not putting up with this crap and i have a lawyer in hand.  DONT GIVE THEM UR INFORMATION.  if they really were serving you papers they could find you with no problem!!  huge scam!!  it is really sad that they call ur family.  very low!  good luck everyone!

    I am a debt collector for a law firm. we actually serve people or not.. 3rd party collections. I know most of the FDCPA rules, this company on the other hand are IDIOTS! i cant believe the company is still running! I know i owe a debt for loan over internet but seriously, this company is a JOKE... they called and stated that they will come to my house if not there will come to my poe.... case # file # bs bs bs... pretty much, they are harassing and scaring the [***] out of people and its so wrong, im going to find a Pro Bono atty, and sue the [***] out of them, makes me laugh because at my work we have to follow all the FDCPA rules, and this co. acts like theyre hot shots. people who dont know anything about collections, By law if u request for letter or to dispute they have to do it... c&d and they have to stop all calls.... if they call u 2x a day thats harrassment or more... there so much they are doing wrong... were only Human and these people really have no sense of manners or common curtsey... breaking an fdcpa rule results in law suite... end of story, people please save the mesgs they leave u or get them on a record line, dont set urself up, be polite, call from private! and lets get these posers...
