I signed up for 4 posters @2.00 each and was billed $32.48. I called to cancel the membership immediately 0n 10/18/07, they had already debited my account for another $48.00 which showed up after I had called. This charge was for two posters that I did not order. I called after the first charge and she said I could return the posters and I would be credited the original $32.48, I agreed to keep those not knowing they had already shipped 2 more for $48.00 more. The attorney general should shut down their web site.

I cannot believe this RIP OFF. Same thing, our son (12) saw a poster he wanted for his teacher, showed me where the posters in BIG ADVERTISING were 4 for $2.00 each, yea, I didn't read the teenie tiny print on page 16 either. If you thought those book clubs, magazines, cell phones were a rip, !!  Ok we did the same, recieved the first posters, saw our bank statement charged $36.58, called Poster pass immediately, was told by Josh or Nate, (wrote their names down but don't remember which one actually told me) that the account was now cancelled, he told me the same about the fine print, the acceptance by email confirmation, so I said fine, the first ones we will keep, NO ADDITIONAL ONES, and he agreed. Well 2 days later, DHL leaves shipment on door, I call them and this time it is Nate tells me to take to PO Drop Ship Box, scratch off my name, and it will be returned to them after they recieve it I will get the other $48.00 charged taken off. OK, fine, guess what within a week another drop shipment at our front door, they ship whether you order not.  Another $48.00 charge on our bank card.  I call the bank, I call Poster Pass, and this time I am told that they will just show our bank where an email confirmation was confirmed for membership, so the charge will be billed back, "even your local bank has to honor".  So I am really disappointed and demanding, then he tells me, we didn't recieve the other shipment, sometimes it takes 30 days from the post office, I am really demandning and I tell him it's done, these are being returned, do not ship more, if necessary I will take legal action to end this, and I will send back to you, this time with Return Receipt Requested, Certified mail shipment, and he says, "well you pay for the return charge but you will have to send to different adress he gives me, a totally different address to send to so "we can issue your credit when it is received", I call my lawyer friend, she says return with proof of delivery as RETURN TO SENDER, DID NOT ORDER, SENDER LEFT ON DOOR WITHOUT PERMISSION, and to make sure I get proof of delivery, return receipt, and insurance.  The shipping cost me, but not near as much as these 50cent posters.  We have 4 posters, a $6.25 value, (can also purchase at local retailer), charged through this poster pass $97.00. THIS IS CRAZY, and I will be taking additional steps.

    What an echo !
My story just echos all of the other ones here. Only I called this company and they told me they had no record of my info any where in their system. Long story short.... I had to cancel my debit card... the two charges of $32 & $48 had cleared and I own 4 posters that I would never pay that kind of moey for. Peel.com & Home Arts Direct & PosterPass.com are all a scam and I will do as suggested in an earlier complaint and agree that if enough people contact the BBB, maybe it will put a stop to these people and their web sites.

They had these guys posted on Facebook.com
I bought into it as well, and I'm trying to cancel (they have no e-mail support, and have EST hours). These guys are flat out crooks, and shame on Facebook.com for carrying their ads.

I highly doubt any of you will get your money back, and I strongly recommend you cancel your credit and debit cards.  I found out two days after the purchase that they charged me $33 for 4 posters and I immediately went to my bank.  They had me cancel my card so that way PosterPass couldn't charge me for anything else.  I got my new debit card in the mail a week later, and since then they haven't made anymore charges to my account.  It blows because I had direct withdraw for other subscriptions and it took a lot of time and energy to give them all my new card number, but better safe than sorry.

Oh my god, i just looked at my credit card online and saw what they were doing.  if i call and complain, will they stop the charges?  i'm willing and ready to argue with them, but the credit card is also my student ID - i'm in college!!  I don't think i can get my card number changed.  I'm TERRIFIED now.

I got scammed, too, and have just left a message at their 877 phone number.  If my account isn't credited soon I'll contact BBB and alert my local TV channel.  I'm a low-income person and don't need scams like this where my debit card is used for fraud.  I should've known something was up when they didn't have a valid e-mail to contact for customer service.  Buyer beware.

I do agree that this company has pulled one over on us, but they were very compliant when I demanded a refund. I called UPS and they will pick up package as long as it is UNOPENED. call (847)424-0954 to contact Home Arts Direct and cancel your account. they WILL refund your money in full in about 48hrs.

Although this is a ridiculous price to pay for shipping on 4 posters that are shipped in ONE package (you pay over $6 in shipping per poster) it's still only $8 a poster. the fact that they are also enrolling you in a monthly program where your credit card will automatically drafted each month is a little sketchy but just ask for a refund and you will receive one.

If something is too good to be true it probably is.
research a company before giving you credit card number.

heres what you do guys and gals...they charged me 40 dollars and 33 dollars.  the minute i received the firs set of posters i called, canmceled my account and told them i was sending the box back.  they said once they received it they would refund me.  HERES THE TRICK----send it with a delivery confirmation.!!!

the post office delivered the package on the 6th, and when i called on the 11th they tried to tell me that they had not received them.  I politely told them that i had confirmation from the post office that they had received them, and they QUICKLY refunded me all the charges.  You have to have solid proof with these people or they will screw you.  CALL them and write everything down, including the name of who you talk to. GET delivery confirmation on anything you send back to them, and call right away, cancel your account,a nd save the email they send you with confirmation!! it is a bit of a pain, but the money you have to spend is worth not getting screwed anymore!!

Yes Karen, they are compliant to you on the phone. However, they never stop, and when you call again, they say it was a glitch.  Yet they keep on coming.  These disgusting criminals make their big cash on the first few shipments of everyone they con.  People don't realize how many shipments are being sent until its too late.  And their non existant or microscopically tiny terms of service are like that for a reason.  Nobody would order all of those posters monthly.  Who needs that many posters?  Also, noone would agree to shipping charges that ridiculous.  I changed my debit card number but here's what I'm worried about.  What if they mess up my credit by turning me over to collections.  I already returned a few to sender.  I've moved, so I don't know if they've sent anymore.  I know I've been charged though.  And I'm being charged $39.80 every week.  That's right, every week.  This is why I changed my debit number.  So, since I can't prove that I never received their product, and they can't get my money, what if I'm forced to pay them.  I think I might be screwed.
