I signed up for 4 posters @2.00 each and was billed $32.48. I called to cancel the membership immediately 0n 10/18/07, they had already debited my account for another $48.00 which showed up after I had called. This charge was for two posters that I did not order. I called after the first charge and she said I could return the posters and I would be credited the original $32.48, I agreed to keep those not knowing they had already shipped 2 more for $48.00 more. The attorney general should shut down their web site.

posterpass has scammed me three time. I keep having to call them and close my account with them but they reopen it and make unauthorized charges. the most recent one was this month. they put a $158.00 charge on my credit card. but now they won't answer my calls and i have not got my money back. i reported them to the bbb and they are still waiting to hear from them. the bbb will get my money back for me right? when i do get my money back i'm gonna have to cancel my credit card because they won't stop stealing my money. i suggest the same to everyone else. the people who work for posterpass are out to steal from you. if they know your credit card info they will keep using it, even when they say your account has been canceled they are really lying. i don't understand how they keep there business when they have done this to so many people. hopefully justice will be served. DO NOT BUY FROM POSTERPASS!!!!

hey [***], I made my order off of myspace, and there were not and still are not any terms and conditions posted.  I took a quick hop over to the poster pass site, and read the terms.  It says you will be charged a flat 25.00, with no shipping and handling charges, for the first five posters, and then 13.95 per poster, plus $5.95 per poster for shipping and handling. Your total per shipment will be $39.80 .  So why are all these folks (me included) getting popped for 34.99 & 79.00?  You need to check your facts, dumbass.  I am cutting and pasting the terms and conditions below my comment so your [***] [***] can read them.

I too have been scammed- bought posters with the special offer over a year ago. got my posters - then received more the following month along with a charge to my account.  I did not realize it was like a poster of the month type club.  I called, returned my posters, got a refund....now a year later, my account has been charged $79.00 only this time, I don't even have an active on line account with them, and no access to the old...have been calling over the past 3 and 1/2 weeks, and leaving messages because no one picks up.  At least the first time a year ago, they were somewhat responsive....

I purchased 5 posters from PosterPass.com in spring of 2008.  I received the posters and was billed for them.  About 2 months later I started receiving a poster every week.  After three weeks of returning posters I did not order, I sent an email to the site asking that my account with them be permanently closed, but continued to received weekly posters which I returned.  In desperation, I called them and explained that I had requested the account be canceled.  I had to call again when I began receiving more posters about a month later.  Finally, the posters stopped coming in late fall, 2008 and I thought the matter was settled.

Then, in summer of 2009, I began receiving posters again -- sometimes 3 or 4 at a time.  My post office told me I should write "Refused" on the boxes and that the posters would be returned to sender, so that's what I did.  But then monthly charges began appearing on my credit card in the amount of $79.00 each and for the last 4 or 5 months there have been 3 or 4 of these $79.00 charges on each of my credit card statements.

Is anyone considering a lawsuit?  My card vendor was unable to reach the company and I also have been unable to contact them.  I'm living on a fixed income and cannot afford this!

If anybody has been successful in getting a credit for bogus charges, I would love to hear from you!

I also was ripped off by Poster Pass.com.  I bought a few posters last year for my daughters for Christmas.  This year I discovered they deducted $74.oo from my checking account.  I was not aware that I signed up for a membership.  If it was a membership fee, I never received any posters since last year when I ordered 4 posters.  I contacted the company tree times and they NEVER returned my calls or refunded me my money.  I then contacted the Better Business Bureau of Chicago area and they tried also to contact the company for answers to my complaint.  BBB closed my compaint case due to Posters Pass not responding.  I am going to change my bank account so that I don't lose more money to them.  The company is called Peel, Inc out of Illinois and they are a scam!!!!  I was not able to get my account closed or refunded the $74.00.  I thought about writing a letter to the newspaper in that area of Illinois and contacting thier Chamber of Commerce.

yeah I ordered the initial four posters for two dollars over a year ago. I got the posters, paid about 35 dollars for them and then cancelled my account. Over a year later a random charge showed up for 80 dollars from them. I immediately disputed the charge with my credit card company and then a couple days later I got a package from them. I had to find a UPS store to set up a pick up of the package to refuse it. I filed a complaint with the BBB and still have seen no results. I have yet to be able to get through on the phone. Keep an eye out for charges from them, even long after the fact!

I filed a complaint with the BBB and they contacted the company twice. I received a letter from BBB stating that the company did not respond to them or me.  They closed the case and said it would just make a bad rating toward this company.  This did not help me recover the $79.00 they took from my checking account.  So I'm back to another step.  Now everyone reads their ratings.  The are a bogus company with many additional DBA names.  I had not had any contact with this company for 2 or 3 years and they keep your records in their data base.  Just imagine how many people get ripped off and the BBB realy doesn't do anything but contact the company 2 times.
