We the People should unite and get all this info on the scammers in one place! Does any one know how to set up a website dedicated just to ending the menace-"cardholderservicesinc"?

We are the little people. As you have heard so many times before, our government won't do anything for the little people. Maybe we should ask the candidates what they will do about these irritating "people" who seem to be too ignorant to get a productive and legal job. Let's send in the Special Forces we sent in to take care of the bin laden problem. Don't vote for incumbants!

The best you can do before the law catches them is to go along and chew up their time.
Get them into a nice talk of how good job they do helping people to reduce their rates and meanwhile tell them you are still looking to find your credit card. I managed once to keep the guy on the phone for close to half an hour and they made my final announcement - a LOUD (F)UCKYOU. The guy went nuts and I felp his aggrevation seconds before he hungs up his phone.

Card Member Services/Account Services/Card Services are all the same outfit using different approaches. I have filed so many Gov No Call List complaints, FTC complaints that they must have one computer for just me by now and all to no avail. What I have started doing is respond, get the representative on the line, give them bogus info about how much debt, so forth and when they want to 1-800 from the card to verify it, I give them 1-888-382-1222 which is the FTC complaint line. Usually they hang up after making this call or I get a Fu then they hang-up. Hasn't stopped them from calling but it is fun.

Try getting a real person and then blow an air horn into the phone. At least you will get the satisfaction of damaging one person's ear. After a while maybe when enough people get hearing loss they will figure it out not to call you.

I have been getting the same calls, only I just wish I knew where they got my phone number. I don't have any credit cards in my name, so how can they lower my interest rate?
I am going to now [***] with them every time they call and give them the FTC help line as a ref number because that sounds like it will make me feel better.
I can't believe the scam. It's hysterical that these people get away with this. I am tempted to just change my phone number.

Ihave been getting phone call every day for the past few weeks, sometimes 2 and 3 times a day. I reported them to the FCC. Fcc said thanks, my information was helpful to tham and that I should contact and make complaint to the State attorney general. This is all very frustrating.

so yes----everybody needs a job.
my first job as a child was cleaning public restrooms. it had more dignity than harassing folks over the phone.

If you do a reverse phone lookup, the phone carrier for these calls is Level 3, or Telcove. When you call, they give you a "complaint" phone number that has a recording that says you have to call you own phone carrier. But they are facilitating these scams. You can find Level 3 online at www.level3.com and their phone number is 800-348-5457. Surely, they would like to know how their business practice is affecting everyone.

I would like to find out their email address and sign them up for as much junk mail as possible!! They call me 3-4 times a day and when ever i go through the prompts to get to talk to a person I tell them to remove my name and number from ther list then I am probably hung up on

NCO Financial is also using this ruse to generate information about people they are trying to dun for debt. The message does not say "this is Rachael from card member service, it just says "card member services" . Most recent came from 251-272-1440. Do not press the number to stop future calls, as that tells them some one actually answered the phone, do not press speak to an agent, because NCO financial services is going to develop more information about you. "I have had this phone number for 10 years and my name is XXXXX quit calling me" Is the information they are looking for the be sure they are dunning the right person. INTERESTING RUSE, TO PLAY OFF OF ANOTHER HATED TELEPHONE SOLICITATION

I too, for months, have been receiving 3-5 calls almost daily. I used to hang up. Now I press #1 wait and speak to someone. Tell them remove me from the list. They say sure. Doesn't happen. still get the calls. So when I ask for a supervisor I get hung up on. If anyone out there knows a ph. # to call, I'll get on it. But when I call the number on my ID it's always busy, I never get through. I 'm on the nat'l no call list too. I'm so ready to press some charges.
