I just got a phone call from Card Member Services I have been getting these all summer and I have asked on a nearly weekly baises from them to remove my number from their calling list usually I get I polite Yes Ma'am and phone call ends. I my husband and I personally belive this place to be a scam, usually people who call your house and know nothing about you but want your money are involved in some scam. This time the man was really rude saying "God gave women two lips we dont know how to shut up"..I asked to be removed he said couldnt do it I asked to speak to a supervisor "thats a distinct privilage so no" I asked again he said no I said that the weekly phone calls that I have asked to stop are harrassment and I can file charges he said that I was threatening him and he could file charges. I said your comments alone could get you fired. I asked for a number to call so I may speak to a supervisor he told me hit redial. He said his name was Charles Arnold (he could have given me a fake name) but thanks to your numbers I was able to reach a supervisor and they said they put my number on the do not call list and also said they would refer my complaint to "Charles" immediate supervisor. I doubt that anything will be done about my complaint but I am glad to hoepfully have these phone calls stopped. Thank You again for posting these numbers.

I get these calls all the time, they lie and claim that we have a prior business relationship when we don't.  I hate them so much, they constantly harass me and I can't get them to stop.

How did you find out who these so called 'Cardmember Service' people were?? I have tried to trace calls, do reverse phone lookup, gotten local phone carrier and their legal dept. involved as well as police and they all tell me they use 'spoof' numbers...they are actually calling from outside the country and use a 'fake' address for phone..when you track it to location in U.S. it turns out to be empty parking lot or open field or no such address...police say they have gotten calls themselves and they have even threatened the police detective. I have a trace on my phone and use 'block' feature for cell..please e mail me with info on how you found out who they were...because they use 'Cardmember Services' in recording ''hi, this is Rachel with Cardmember Services' ..etc. but it's not..it's a scam. My e mail is busay31152@comcast.net

Dont't hold your breath.  They will tell you what ever you want to hear. They just have fun screwing with people.  They will call again, you can bet on it.

Like the rest of you, I have received numerous calls from these idiots - sometimes several times a day - and like the rest of you, they will not take me off their list.

What you need to understand is that they are playing a numbers game.  They have to call a lot of people in a day before they find that one sucker that will give them a credit card number and make it worth their while.  While it will not stop them from calling, I can at least annoy them as much as they do me by sounding interested in their "service".  I ask a lot of questions and string them along for as long as I can, but NEVER give them any personal info or credit card numbers.

If everyone were to keep them on the phone for 10 to 15 minutes, they would not be able to make sufficient calls to find their sucker, and will not be able to make a living at this scam.  Maybe they will eventually see the light and get a real job.

I keep getting recorded messages from someone claiming to be Card Member Services, inviting me to press "1" to speak to a representative about the credit card I don't have. Every time, the message tells me it's the last time they'll call me. The phone number is also different every time, usually from a different time zone.

So I press "1" and try to explain that I don't have a credit card and I want to be taken off their list. EVERY SINGLE TIME they hang up before I can get past "I don't have a card." I tried just saying "take me off your list" but they hang up before I can finish that, as well. I've reported them to the federal Do Not Call list complaints page every time.

It's nice to know i'm not the only one losing my mind over this!  I just filed a complaint with the FTC, thanks for that idea.  They have been calling me almost daily, sometimes multiple times a day.  I've tried everything I can think of to get them to stop for about a year now-- from asking, to not answering my phone, etc... they are the devil, I agree!

these people need to stop. one day you will be called and maybe you will understand what it feels like to be bothered. you can only imagine what somebody would do if they could see you face to face. grow up and leave people alone.

A very rude woman called me form this phone number and after I told her I had no credit cards and hung up, she calle me right back from 309-334-2099 and began cussing me, calling me a [***] and calling my husband a ni**er!! Then she proceded to tell me "what you gonna do about it? Not a G** D** thing." but I guess she is right, both #'s are not in service when I call back to speak with manager!!!!

Press 1 and string them along as long as possible, at least cost them more in time and phone bills, if we all do that they can't call us forever.

I too get the same relentless calls from Cardmember Services. My wife and I are both ill and need lots of rest/sleep and receive an average of two calls per day from these scum of the earth leaches. When they hang up on you when trying to file a complaint, its a give away as to their credibility and honesty. What is unfortunate
is that they are getting enough business from the less fortunate and elderly that can't afford to spend whatever it is these people are selling, that they are still in business.

Another tragedy is that we have a government that over taxes us to overpay their employees, that can't get a handle on things such as this to shut them down. But then again it's just us "The People" that are complaining. Why should they care?

Well, now that we heard from one of thier sales reps, why not give out the names of those the've helped.  They have no problem calling do not call numbers and cell phones.

Concord...thought this was card member services.  That is one sure way to find a reputable company...see how many sham corporations and fronts they have.

    Waste thier time
I string them along.  Name is Don T Call.  Give them fake everything.  After several minutes I'll ask them how they like thier time being wasted and if they mouth off I tell them to sound my name out.  Then they really get mad.  Just keep laughing and making fun of them and they quit and don't call back for quite a while.  Sometimes I even ask them how many other calls they could be making while I'm wasting thier time.

I won my battle with "AWD" so don't let them get you too. They also go by Ambrosia Web Designs (but do not have a real website), also Americans With Disabilities (sick!), also A&W Distributions and many others. Have had multiple conversations with the "owner" and "manager" and each time they change their name. The employees or his wife can't even keep up with the scamming lies. Very rude on the phone and threatening. The "recorded" line is a joke so be consistent and demand that they send you a copy of the "recording" and get your credit card company involved as well and be adamant and asssertive when dealing with both! Be careful because these scammers are typicall ex cons according to our Atty General Office investigators. Long battle with these creeps but I eventually got my $940 back with the help of my credit card company (who should have recognized AWD is a scamming company in the first place)!!

They are still at it. Got a call today, Press 1 to lower your interest rate to 6.9 blah blah blah. Pushed 1 ask the lady about the company, made it sound legite but as soon as I told her I was at my limit on my credit cards all of a sudden I wouldn't be eligable for the program even though originally she said you just had to not be over your limited, made your payments on time ect. What a scam the minute she figured out I didn't have availabe credit on my credit cards (THAT THEY COULD GET) it was over. BE CAREFUL SOME OF THEM SOUND VERY LEGITE DON'T FALL FOR IT! The # today they called from was42-390-8101. BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!

Have been getting these call for months now. Obviously not the real number in called-id. It's amazing someone hasn't figured them out and gone after them. Like others, some of the calls have been very intrusive and poorly timed.C
