Received 3 calls from these guys from 559-328-2353 at my office claiming to be some kind of Official US Branch of Govt. Anyways I called them to see what this was all about, and they couldn't get their names straight, So I asked for their address and the guy just hangs up. Its a SCAM of some kind for sure so don't fall for it.

    i just got a message from a Jordan Miller with the Department of Legal Affairs. Phone number 562-398-3829. He had a super thick accent and it was really hard to understand what he was saying. He said something about having my legal retainer with me when I call back and do the smart thing and call so there won't be criminal action taken against me. Is this some sort of scam?

        I just got a call from some man name Johnny Marshall telling me I need to call him back concerning a legal matter if not it go be legal action taken on me if I don't call back. From a 202-517-0151. This sound like a scam is it really, the name Johnny Marshall gave it away like it wasn't real.

      845-373-1043 Amenia NY. Same thing I called it and when I said I was an attorney a thick accent said I don't wish to talk to anyone like that and hung up. Lol. Don't let them ruin your whole day and upset your nerves. SCAM.

      I believe it's a scam and it's still going on.  Got the same call, same content almost word for word - probably reading a script, on 8/4/16 but the guys name was Anthony Walker 646-386-2357.

        Ben Cooper 786-410-0889 out of Florida.Very thick accent with mostly same content. When I called back it was a busy signal.

          Similar voicemail message from Legal Affairs but polite.  Thick Indian accent.  Law enforcement action started on my name.  Called back - busy number.  Left complaints with IRS Fraud line and also FTC.

      I just received a call from a guy named David Smith from Legal Affairs stating that I need to provide supporting documents because a claim is being filed against me for tax fraud. Just recently retired from military and have never missed a year of filing taxes.... He informed me that a warrant for my arrest will be placed on me..... I did however notified my attorny with this issue...he had all the incorrect information.
      The guy who contacted me was a David Smith.....

    The number I got from the scam is 760-693-1749.  From John Bailey.  Could hardly understand him as his accent was so thick .  Said he was from Dept of Legal Affairs and enforcement action would be filed against us if we didn't call back.
