Received 3 calls from these guys from 559-328-2353 at my office claiming to be some kind of Official US Branch of Govt. Anyways I called them to see what this was all about, and they couldn't get their names straight, So I asked for their address and the guy just hangs up. Its a SCAM of some kind for sure so don't fall for it.

    I have been receiving them also! The first one left a threating message 2 times on my answering machine in one day in May. Now they are calling from another number. 213-261-0712 from LA. The phone rang once and I ignored it. Then it rang again just after the first one. I answered the second one and was told to call back on the same number and talk to Adam Jones. I did call it back and I went up one side of him down the other. This guy wanted my attorney's address because he wanted to send him paperwork. I told him to send it to my address. He hung up. I looked up the Dept of Legal affairs US Treasury. And found the scam stuff. I called the guy back and called him a scammer. Hopefully I won't here from them anymore. These freaks are threating people. It seriously needs to stop.

    I received calls from these idiots back a few months ago and White Pages reverse-identified the phone number they were calling from as belonging to a bona fide company called Mosaic in Los Angeles.  After a couple of contacts where the heavily accented person told me he was calling to discuss unfortunate legal action being taken against my name; since I was no longer answering the phone they quit calling.  Then today they called again.  I answered without checking the number first.  Heavy foreign accent telling me he was calling from the department of legal affairs of the US Treasury.  Very stern and authoritative.  Informed me that this call was being federally monitored and warned me to be prudent about my responses as I was being recorded and anything I said could be used in my prosecution, as there was a federal warrant out for my arrest regarding nonpayment of 2009 taxes and agents were on the way to take me to jail.  Hello?  I know better than to fall for this crap.  I reminded the guy that they had been calling me previously and I had traced their number back to Mosaic.  Caught him off-guard for a minute, then he just carried on with his theme.  I asked him why in the world the IRS would hire foreigners from non-government agencies to collect unpaid back taxes and threaten American citizens.  He told me the IRS no longer had time to deal with overdue taxes and had given authority to sub-contractors to collect funds or seize assets and throw delinquent taxpayers in jail.  He then warned me that if I questioned him further agents would be on their way immediately to my house to arrest me and take me to jail.  I laughed in his face and hung up on him.  So far, I don't think that's how we do things in this country.  I could just imagine the rest of the conversation might go something like this:  The only way you can avoid immediate arrest and imprisonment is to give me your credit card number to pay your back taxes and penalties at this time.  No, if you hang up or attempt to further delay payment of your taxes we will have no recourse but to take you to jail now, agents will be sent immediately to your home.......dream on, buddy.

      Got a call from a Jordan Miller & he said he was with the " Legal Affairs Dept. of US Treasury". He was looking for the owner ( gave name ) of our business. Took his phone # & message. Checked it out. So called the # back & asked to speak with Jordan. Person answering phone said he was Jordan's associate. I then told this person I knew they were a scam & I reported them & promptly got hung up on.

        I got the same phone call from an Adam Brown(7185513718) they left message to call back right away or have my attorney call back called back and asked for Adam Brown He said I'm his associate so I asked what this was about .He had no answer. We sent 2 letters about this matter. then I asked for the last 4 didgets of my SS# reply we cant give out that information. Then He told me it was about my 2012 Taxes  then I told Him ill have my Tax Preparer call him called  back then He hung up. I called back with same Phone no answer.  I called back with different phone. the same voice answered phone.then He said He will transfer me to the person handling my case then phone went to busy signal.

      I just received the same exact kind phone call!!!! He was so rude! He had my address and email. After I started asking a lot of questions he cut me off and asked what I wanted to do and how I planned to handle this. I told him I didn't plan on doing anything and wasn't paying the $3998.00 that he was asking for. He then said he was sending a police officer to my location and putting out a warrant against me. I told him to go right ahead. What the hell?!

    By the way, re the above post.....I did a white pages check of two numbers used to call me from today.  One of them was in the name of Broad Vox, which googled out to be a business supply company in Georgia.  The other was Introvox for which there was no information.

    I also have been receiving calls from the Dept of Legal affairs US Dept of treasury. I reverse phone # him and it is an El Paso TX Number. 915-317-4924. Name was George Rogers. I called him back and spoke with him and started asking where he was located and he hung up on me. I recorded his info and calls and forwarded them to the Office of the Inspector General US dept of treasury. Hopefully they will get these low lives.

      I have been getting messages from the Dept of Legal Affairs US Treasure Enforcement Unit.  We called back and
      my husband could not sleep worried about what it could be because they said we better call back with an attorney present.
      bla, bla bla. His name was Danny at 202-821-1155.  I am going to call the heck out of him and report him to the Inspector Generaland the IRS..Those idiots live off poor souls who fall in their traps..

    I have received 2 calls from 915-317-4924.  Interesting that they called e as I'm not a US citizen nor do I have a SSN.  Also interesting that they didn't no my legal name they used my nick name.  I confronted them over the fact that I wasn't an American and they hung up.  Every time I have called since I can't get through. Her name was Sharon Martin with a very thick accent.

    I just received two phone calls from these scammers as well! The number was 2022807079 name Loyd Davis.

    I have recieved these calls 9 of them since 3pm when i was able to answer the phone was told that that they are with the Department of Legal Affairs for the U S Treasury and that if i did not resolve the issue immediately that there would be a sherrif at my door to serve an arrest warrent. When i asked what this is about they told me that there was Federal charges against me for Stolen Funds from the IRS and that there was an ongoing investigation and that i am to be put in jail for 10 years and will be arreested by the sherrif and no bail would be set.  the number i have recieved the calls is 847-380-6601

      I just received the same call requesting that I call 847-380-6601.  I call and get a voice message.  This appears to be a total SCAM, I am waiting to get someone on the phone so i can feel good and curse them out!!!!
