Received 3 calls from these guys from 559-328-2353 at my office claiming to be some kind of Official US Branch of Govt. Anyways I called them to see what this was all about, and they couldn't get their names straight, So I asked for their address and the guy just hangs up. Its a SCAM of some kind for sure so don't fall for it.

    Received a similar call today from  a Steve Mata with the US Treasury Office of Legal Affairs who has a heavy Indian or Pakistani accent today. Suspected something wrong when the callers connection  kept breaking up and the Official call came from a number in a rural town of 10,000 when the only federal office is a Post Office. I also saw another video where the same caller called a Police officer and demanded payment. When the officer  spilled the beans, the "treasury" agent became very abusive.  DO NOT fall for this. There are CON artists in Pakistan or India, they want to steal your money.

    Fake "Department of Legal Affairs" 718-734-1473  is the number they want you to call but caller ID shows 718-758-6408 and that is a non working number.

    I just got a message from the 718-713-6547--caller ID name was Cindy Adams.  It was a female, Leslie Owens, not sure of the accent and they didn't have our name.  We do not have a magic jack number. At the end she said, "God Bless you" so I know she doesn't really work for the Dept of Legal Affairs.  The spiel was so bad I was pretty sure it was a hoax.  I am glad to see all of these comments on here as well.

      Same exact spiel.  Leslie Owens.  Same number.  Scared my elderly mother as she thought I was in big trouble.  I'm reading her all these comments!

    received call from indian ( looks like they use outsourcing Technic in India) woman 929-232-1051 calmed be legal affair, dont believe them, any action must be hard copy letter first, PERIOD.

    I just received a call from the Dept. of Legal Affairs also.  The message told me that I was involved in some sort of legal action. The accent was very hard to understand so I am going to assume that is a scam and not worry about being in trouble!

    Received a call on non-published landline for a person that stayed with us for a few months. Alan at 929-312-3999 from the US Legal Affairs department of the Treasury. For scammers they really are lacking in their research. The person they were trying to contact has not stayed here since October of 2015, has no license, no credit, and hasn't been employed for years.  Like to know where they think they are going to get anything out of their harassment.

    I just got one from new york from a lady saying I was being sued for millions of dollars and she was with the Dept of Legal Affairs.  She said I must call back immediately.  Guess Trump is sueing me for calling him a twatwaffle.

    I received a call as well. Has any one figured out on how to make these calls stop? Wish there was a way to scare the S__T out of these idiots and make them afraid of working for the A_S H__E who started this scam!

    I got few phone calls today, person naming himself Jason, tryed to convince me to give him my current address and my attorney name. Phone numbeer used was: 845-547-4902

    I received a similar message on two different occasions earlier in the week from two different numbers. When I called it was the same thing informing me I was in trouble. The latest call came from 347-584-8747 with a robot leaving a name Kimberly Miller and case file number CF79621.

    Got a call from 718-615-5162 caller ID said Jacob Conner. A woman with a thick accent , left a message and said that she was Leslie Owens from the Department of Legal Affairs. She said that we needed to call her back immediately. I never answer my phone if I don't know who is calling. When the message is so far fetched I just ignore. She said that legal action was going to be taken against us! I don't worry about this trash because I don't have anything to be concerned about that involves the law.

    I had the same phone call a week ago. Didn't threaten me but said I should have my retainer attorney call back if I could not call back. No other phone call after that. I could barely understand anything he was saying.

    Received call just like the others couldn't understand person sounded like from India too the number is 718-551-9484 It was strange and scary

    I just received a message from Adam brown. 917-732-7021 he said he was from the dept of legal affairs enforcing action and if I called back I should have an attorney do so before I got into a legal mess which he hoped I did not wait
    . I do not owe money to anyone and I am 75 yrs old. So I am not returning this call just want people to know I think it is a scam......
