Received 3 calls from these guys from 559-328-2353 at my office claiming to be some kind of Official US Branch of Govt. Anyways I called them to see what this was all about, and they couldn't get their names straight, So I asked for their address and the guy just hangs up. Its a SCAM of some kind for sure so don't fall for it.

        i received a call from this same number and name, told me i made a mistake on my taxes and that they were issuing a warrant for my husbands arrest!!

    I received a call yesterday from the Department of legal affairs. They called again from the same number this morning early and left a vm stating "this is Adam Brown calling from the Department of legal affairs suggesting I call back immediately for I'm in trouble!". The number was a New York 917 exchange and yes, true to form a very heavy Indian accent you could barely understand! I did call back already knowing this to be a scam and have some fun with it. Another guy answers by the name of Nathan insisting I identify myself. When I insisted he state his business he simply hung up! How do these people get U.S. telephone numbers when they are clearly calling from overseas? You can hear other operators in the backround busy calling people as well! On top of that last week I get a text message on my Whattsap from some guy in Pakistan asking to be new best friends and sending me photos of himself! I am so sick and tired of these scammers and phishers I could scream! Something needs to be done to protect our citizens (especially our seniors) from this trash! I would like to know what our Government is doing to curtail this garbage activity! [***]!

    718-551-9484 "Chris Jones" with Indian accent telling me (or my attorney) to call back because "law enforcement action has been started in my name".  And letting me know if I didn't respond there could be a "legal mess will end up for you".  Hopes I'll "take this right and call back".  Uhhhmmm, NOPE!!  Don't think I will call back and this crap needs to end!!

    Recieved same call from james clark at 929-312-3999 stating he was with department of legal affairs. This is the second time in a month i have recieved this bull [***]. Dont believe a word they say, they will ALWAYS send a hard copy before they attempt to contact you in real life. And come on James Clark is a pretty american name for someone with a very strong indian accent.

    718-725-7108, left me a message yesterday.  Indian accent.  Told me to have my lawyer with me when I call back.

    I received a voicemail today from a man from the Dept. of Legal Affairs that said I needed to call
    929-244-4741 regarding a law enforcement action that is being done in my name that could cause
    a legal mess for me.  He gave the name of James Hardy? or something that sounded like that and had a heavy accent.  When I dialed the number, there was a busy signal.....a constant busy signal...

    I got a call from 2132893844 this morning telling me I old back taxes from 2012 and2013 if I don't pay they were going to have me arrested freeze my bank account  take my driver  license  Away  if I don't pay   it really  got to me  to where I'm was really  upset  with  these women  some thing  needs to be done to people like this  it's not right to do this

    Leslie Owen (Huge indian Accent) called from the Dept of Legal Affairs (909-999-6376) with a recorded message indicating they are investigating me.  I called back and got another Indian lady asking if I was on a cell or landline and that she needed some more of my information to start the claim.  I asked her what they were investigating me for and what was the potential charge and she hung up.

    I got a call from leslie owens department of legal affairs 917-832-1087 she said called back ans have an attorney if I don't return her call it will cause me a legal mess. There was like a noisy background like wind. Was hard to understand and kept messing up on the call back number. So is it a scam or not

    Got the Leslie Owens call today also, with instructions to call 909-999-6376. Per cell, origin of call was Rialto, CA.

    I had a VM from a man with a very heavy Indian accent. Almost difficult to understand. Stated he was calling from the department of legal affairs regarding legal action against me. Sounded completely scripted and has a lot of background noise. Mentioned I should have a lawyer for this matter and to have a blessed day. Number was +1 (929) 244-4741

    I just got the call saying that I needed to call right away from the legal affairs.  #929-244-4740  sounds like everyone else   Woman heavy India accent, at the end telling me to have a blessed day.  They used my nickname not my legal name so I know it's a scam.  I blocked them on my phone.

    Same message everyone is receiving. The person who called had a very thick accent, (sounded Indian), said her name was "Leslie Owens"
    and asked to be called back at 217-501-2312 with my attorney present.

    I received a call today, May 31, 2016 from a Lisa Davis, strong Indian accent telling me that she was from the Dept of Legal affairs, US Dept. Of Treasury. She stated that a litigation had been started against me and that I needed to call her back urgently, because I was going to need her or I would be in serious trouble if it ended up in court. she said if I chose to ignore her call bad things would happen with the lawsuit. "For real lady. Get a life" IT'S A SCAM.

    got the same message from a leslie owens today. Call back number 718 734 1473 . Does any one actually fall for this baloney....... She ended the message with God Bless. She does not even speak proper English.

    Got one too!  From Mike Miller. Dept. Of Legal Affairs. 928 232 1051. Told me there is legal action being taken against me and to do the right thing and call back. Shhhhaw, yeah , that'll happen....  Miller seems to be THE last name of ALL these Indian gentleman...
